this is the second time i’m staying at this place. the first time was booked via agoda. the room is spacious and nice but floor is dusty. but that isn’t a big deal for me. what has really ruined my mood for the stay was the front desk guy. he is an indian man. he called me 3 times on the morning of my stay but i didn’t pick up because i was driving from KL. when i reach there around 2.30 pm after i had my lunch, i gave a call to the number in the front desk (which was his number who called me earlier) to ask if can check-in now or need to wait until 3pm. he said 3pm and i was okay since it’s just a few more minutes until 3pm anyway. no one was in the premise at that time which is why i call the number written on the whiteboard. during my check-in, he is complaining about why i didn’t pickup the call so he didn’t know what time i’m coming to check in. so unprofessional of him to say that the first thing to a guest. trying to blame me? well first, you’re calling in the morning of my trip and you can’t expect me to pickup the phone when i’m driving? you could have just leave a message on whatsapp if i didn’t pickup the call. everybody is using whatsapp nowadays so what’s so hard to reach me? second, he asks for RM50 deposit but my mother didn’t hear at first so she asked what the RM50 is for and he said to buy KFC? repeatedly saying to buy KFC. is that suppose to be a joke? we all know he’s just trying to be sarcastic to my mother because that isn’t funny at all to us. during my first time stay at this place on Dec 2023, Mr Poon whatsapp me A DAY before my trip to confirm my booking and my arrival time. it was pleasant and easy with Mr Poon which is why i choose this place again for my second trip but turns out, the front desk is a different person this time and he really ruined my mood during my stay there because of his unprofessional attitude.

My recent stay at the Beverly Hotel in Taiping left much to be desired. The hotel is strategically located in front of Taiping Central and getting food is super convenient. Nonetheless, while the hotel boasts high ceilings, which initially gave the impression of spaciousness, the overall experience was underwhelming. The room has an industrial feel rather than a comfortable accommodation, lacking basic amenities that one would expect from a hotel. The most noticeable issue was the echoing within the room. Conversations carried throughout the space, making it difficult to relax or sleep undisturbed. This acoustic problem was compounded by the sparse furnishings and minimal effort in decor, which contributed to an atmosphere that felt stark and unwelcoming. Furthermore, the bathroom was disappointingly basic, with outdated fixtures and insufficient toiletries provided. The lack of attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness was evident, as some areas of the room appeared dusty and neglected. On a positive note, the hotel's location was convenient for accessing local attractions and dining options. However, this alone could not compensate for the overall lackluster experience within the hotel itself. In conclusion, while the Beverly Hotel may have potential with its architectural features like high ceilings, its current state falls short of providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Improvements in room amenities, decor, and soundproofing are necessary to elevate the guest experience to an acceptable standard.

La ubicación del hotel está bien y no es ruidoso debido a extraños, ya que no hay restaurantes ni otras tiendas cerca. Amplio espacio de estacionamiento, muy bueno. Los recepcionistas son amables. Tienen dispensadores de agua fría y caliente en la despensa. Me sorprendió que el lobby y el estacionamiento de este hotel estén en un piso más alto, por lo que mi habitación está en un piso más bajo. Tal vez un viajero solo se preocupe cuando llega por primera vez aquí, ¿eh? El baño de la habitación es espacioso y el flujo de agua es muy fuerte. Excepto que no proporcionan un kit de cepillado de dientes ni un secador de pelo. Solo quería comentar sobre la iluminación tenue desde la escalera hasta el callejón y la habitación. Una de las luces del techo de mi habitación no funcionaba cuando me registré. Le comenté a la recepcionista y fueron muy amables al traer una nueva, pero en ese momento la luz se encendió de repente, así que me negué a que me la cambiaran. La cerradura de la puerta de la habitación está rota, ¿quizás el propietario pueda arreglarla? Adecuado para una estadía corta. Si espera una estadía de lujo, tal vez esta no sea su opción.

Pros: Clean, comfortable beds & pillows, white towels quite thick for a budget hotel, strong water pressure, reliable hot water, quiet surrounding, has a good drinking water machine where we can refill our tumblers. Has a clothes line in the bathroom. Room door uses sensor key. Can control room air cond temperature. Cons: When someone in the next room showers, the noise of the water is very loud. Shower area not separated from toilet area so the floor gets wet but luckily the bathroom is large so there is still a small area that does not get wet. No lift. Only street parking where you have to pay. Security not good enough. Anyone can enter & go up to the rooms. The receptionist won't know unless they stand up as they sit behind a high counter.

The location is good where it's walking distance to many eateries. Yet, it's quiet in the evening. 7-11 is just next door. For those who like to bring back fresh tauge, bean curd noodles, veggies etc, you may walk to the nearby Ipoh Market. Even though there's no parking lot right in front of the hotel, there's complimentary parking in about 2 min walk. Otherwise, you may park your car behind the hotel and pay a parking fee to the town council. The hotel is clean and well equipped. Only occupants with access cards can enter the hotel, this is a good safety measure. We enjoyed our 2 nights stay here. An area for improvement is please inform the occupants the rule for check out, which is the door will be locked half an hour before 12pm and can't use the lift after 12:30pm on the check out day. We were shocked when we couldn't access the room when we back to hotel around 11:30am on check out day.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation for the quality of service that your hotel provides. We are pleased with the hotel accommodations, as they are generally clean, tastefully furnished and well maintained. Our participants enjoyed the buffet meal very much. There is a wide variety to choose from and the quantity provided is always sufficient and timely replenished. Your chefs’ culinary skills are obvious judging from the positive feedback we received from the campers. The dining area is spacious, well lit and hygienic. Most importantly, we are delighted by the readiness and the responsiveness of your staffs. They are always willing to accommodate whatever request we put forward. Such positive service attitude is highly commendable.

La comida es fabulosa en este hotel de calidad y bien mantenido. El personal y la gestión fueron muy cortés, amigables y hospitalarios. Hay un 7-11 a pocos pasos de esta propiedad con muchas amenidades y artículos personales justo si necesitas. No mencionar la conveniencia de las bebidas, fumar y snacks si lo necesitas a medianoche. El estacionamiento es muy conveniente justo delante del Hotel, pero los visitantes municipales comienzan a llamar a los coches después de las 8:00 si olvidas pagar las tarifas de estacionamiento ... Además, seguro que volveré a elegir este hotel Cuando visito la ciudad de Ipoh ... Ohhh IVA, Hay un restaurante Nanyang Village justo enfrente de la Lotus Mall cerca del hotel ...La comida es fabulosa y los dueños de la sala Jim & Amy son muy buenos chefs preparando este tipo de GOD Desayuno y almuerzo ... GOD para pop por a disfrutar también 😍😍😍😎🍭🍭🍭
