La ubicación es muy conveniente, cerca del muelle (a solo unos minutos a pie después de desembarcar) y también cerca de atracciones turísticas. Es muy seguro. No hay recepción; el registro es autoservicio. El propietario tiene una cuenta de WeChat y habla chino. Desafortunadamente, la planta baja no tiene ventanas. Los baños y las duchas son compartidos, pero la casa se limpió a diario durante los tres días que me alojé. Fue un verdadero refugio para mí cuando estaba cansada del viaje.

Отель заранее списался со мной по Ватцап и оставил инструкциии, как попасть в сам отель и номер, о действиях при выселении. Весьма удобно. Так же в номере хороший WiFi и телевизор с YouTube, впервые за долгий период смог что-то смотреть не с телефона, а на большом экране. Отель находится в удобном месте, для посещения достопримечательностей. Недалеко магазин 7/11 и прям напротив него остановка автобусов. Там же останавливается и бесплатный автобус Сат, на котором можно приехать или уехать к пирсу паромов. Минус дам за толстый слой пыли на абажуре лампы и коробки выключателя света в туалетно-душевой кабинка. Такой слой весьма долго копится без уборки. Сама кабинка мне понравилась. Но опять же, как я понимаю, при включении света должна включаться и вытяжка воздуха. А она не работает, из-за чего кабинка долго не просыхает и держится влага.

Tenga en cuenta que el letrero de este hotel indica ”SE FERRY HOTEL”. Está a unos 900 metros (10 minutos a pie) de la terminal de ferry/estación de tren de Beihai. Ideal para quienes toman un tren temprano al día siguiente. La insonorización del hotel es regular, la ropa de cama es cómoda, la limpieza es buena y hay agua embotellada gratuita.

Good location and environment at this hotel, u are so convenient to go Komtar and attraction Birch House Mcdonald (just walking around 10min). Recommend for a group of friends.

Had a nice stay at the hotel. I was in transit so only needed the hotel for a few hours to catch a nap and shower. The place is new, you can smell the new shower. You get a nice large space with 2 ceiling fans and an AC that works really well. It seems like a home converted into a hotel where you leave shoes off and kept in a locker before you enter the property. They have cold, warm and hot water machine. My only issue is that throughout the night there were some machine noises going on. So be aware if you are sensitive to sound whilst sleeping. Oh, although they have no lift, the front desk kindly offered to carry my bags to the 2nd floor which was a pleasant touch to my experience.

I stayed at Mode Inn Icon City for 1 night and had a pleasant stay overall. The hotel's biggest strength is undoubtedly its location. With numerous restaurants, cafés, convenience stores and other amenities within walking distance, everything I needed was easily accessible. The convenience of the location is likely one of the main reasons for its popularity and room rates. The room was clean and equipped with the essential amenities needed for a comfortable short stay. The bed was comfortable, the air-conditioning worked well, and the overall check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. While the hotel was generally well-maintained, some parts of the property showed signs of age and regular use. This did not affect my comfort during the stay, but guests expecting a newer or more modern hotel should manage their expectations accordingly. The room size was the main drawback. Even though I booked the largest room category with a window, the room was still quite compact. It was perfectly suitable for a solo traveller staying one or two nights, but couples or guests with multiple pieces of luggage may find the space rather limited. At approximately RM150 per night without breakfast, the pricing is slightly on the higher side for a 2-star hotel. However, considering the strategic location and overall convenience, I can understand why the hotel remains a popular choice among travellers.
