I enjoyed my stay here overall, especially because of the peaceful garden atmosphere. It really feels like you’re staying in the middle of nature, surrounded by greenery and fresh air. In terms of cleanliness, I would say it was average. Since the property is located within a garden environment, I noticed that some areas showed signs of wear, including a bit of rust and mold in certain places. I believe there is room for improvement in maintenance and upkeep. That being said, what truly made the experience enjoyable was Kittu. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and always willing to help. He took great care of everything and made sure my stay was smooth and comfortable. His hospitality really stood out and made a positive difference. The breakfast was also delicious and freshly prepared. It was one of the highlights of my stay and a great way to start each morning. One thing to note is the location. The property is situated midway between the main areas, which means taxis do not usually pass by regularly. If you need transportation, it is best to ask the manager to help arrange a taxi for you. The property is not within walking distance of everything. It takes some time to travel down to the Dalai Lama Temple area, and it also takes a while to go up to Dharamkot. Depending on your plans, you may need to arrange transportation or be prepared for a bit of walking. Overall, if you enjoy nature, greenery, and a peaceful environment away from the crowds, this is a lovely place to stay. While the maintenance could be improved in some areas, the warm hospitality from Kittu and the tasty breakfast made the experience worthwhile.

Yalakhom is situated at a remote yet accessible village in Himachal Pradesh called - Kalgha. Kalgha comes in the way to Kheerganga Trek, so those who are planning to go for the trek may consider staying at Yalakhom, as it is a great place to rewind and relax. I stayed at Yalakhom in the first week of June, the weather was pleasant and the rains made my stay even more pleasurable. When you will be at Yalakhom there won’t be any view you could take your eyes off. The people managing the homestay are also great. They take their time in cooking food, but they will serve you the freshest food possible with wide variety to choose from, that too at such a remote place. The wonderful folks at Yalakhom also offer accompanied guidance for treks, however I wasn’t aware of this until my final day at Yalakhom, so I couldn’t make use of the same. Pemba bhai, Agrimji, Resham bhai and Yangzee didi must be specifically mentioned. They will accomodate you as you are their friend, while respecting your privacy at the same time. I highly recommend Yalakhom notwithstanding your purpose of vacation, be it trekking or taking a peaceful break at the Himalayas.

I am a foreign traveller from Europe. From the moment I arrived at Rashal Homes, it felt good. The location is very nice..a new experience..close to Shimla but less busy, the homestay is located very close to Shoghi Main Market, in a quiet area. The owner and his family, and also the staff are very friendly. The room very comfortable! The decorations are beautiful. Good beds, soft pillows! The views are awesome, so beautiful. You can see all the way towards Shimla. Great terrace to relax and enjoy some of their delicious food or have a drink. I highly recommend Rashal Homes to all travellers!

My stay started with a big smile of the guy at the reception. He was very kind. As all staff is great. Good quality beds and mattresses in the dorms. Free drinking water and wifi. You must download the hostels app to open your room and locker (by Bluetooth) but it worked fine. Location pretty good, only about 3km to Kasol. If you don't have your own transport, there are often buses. I recommend this hostel to other backpackers.

🇲🇾 Esta vivienda es un poco vieja, pero la mantenimiento es bueno, el cuarto es cómodo, la vista también es muy buena, la principal es la estabilidad de agua caliente, la electricidad (Wifi es un poco lento, pero el mejor uo airtel 3G es 40INR), el personal amable (Paras Lakshay y los chefs) tenía previsto vivir una noche, El resultado es que se ha persistido 😎😎 Caminar al mercado y Palchan al lado es sólo 15-20 En 👍👍 En minutos 15-20 Si realmente quieres KFC/Domino, hay 30 minutos a pie o 10 minutos de coche. La gestión de la vivienda es simple, no puede salir de casa y puede ser deshabitado todo el día. Whatsapp puede enviar comida a la habitación, muy adecuado para los viajeros deshabitados o cansados 😎😎 Si desde otras ciudades a la estación de autobús Old ***ali/Volvo, la tarifa de coche es un poco costosa, 700-1000 no espero, si hay tiempo, Puedes preguntar un taxi compartido, el costo es aproximadamente 50-100 💰💰 Vale la pena volver a la ciudad ❤️❤️

The Hosteller kasauli is a very nice backpacker hostel. The location is good. Not in the main market, but very peaceful. Comfortable beds, wifi. Clean place.

La vista desde el cuarto es perfecta para disfrutar de sus vacaciones. En un principio, se puede encontrar difícil encontrar el lugar. El personal es amable con gran ayuda natural. Le recomiendo visitar este lugar.

The place was wonderful. The staff, Ravi was so helpful and nice. It’s a nice location with amazing Mountain View. The interior was very beautiful.

Очень колоритный отель, в удобном месте, все рядом, но не шумно. Хороший санузел. В номере нет телевизора и телефона, не очень понятно как подключить интернет и как связаться с ресепшен. Дали с собой вкусные бутерброды, т.к был ранний выезд до завтрака. Отель относится к институту искусств Нурбулинка.
