La entrada es pequeña, lo que hace un increíble aprovechamiento del espacio. El aparcamiento es grande. La habitación está limpia, es difícil tender la ropa para que se seque. Lo más destacado es el desayuno, que es muy rico y delicioso. En definitiva, está muy cerca de Cambridge y puedes correr por el río todos los días, fueron tres días maravillosos.

Never ever stay in this horror show, I do not normally swear or leave reviews and I'm almost lost for words to describe this place, I would call it a hovel but that would be a huge improvement, I can't believe the state of it, I can't believe they have not been closed down, every inch of this place is disgusting and falling apart and full of damp and mold. On arrival the first thing that struck me was the state of the car park which is muddy and full of holes, abandoned car at the bottom under a tarpaulin. When I reached the so called ”reception” my key was laying on a table with my name scrawled on a sheet of paper, no sign of anybody around so I found my own way to the room. The hallway was dark and dilapidated with signs of damp and mold and a funny smell. When I found my room and opened it I couldn't believe my eyes I have never seen anything like this and the smell of sweat, mold and damp was overwhelming. Paper was peeling off the walls and the plaster was crumbling, every inch of this place was disgusting and covered in thick dust, everywhere you looked was grim, I can't go through how bad everything was because it was all so terrible. If you had nowhere else to go and had to spend the night on the street let me tell you that that would be better than this and I am not exaggerating, I ”slept” fully clothed on top of the horrific bed with my own personal towel wrapped around the pillow and couldn't wait to get out of there, please please just do not stay here ever.

Amazing place to stay, right next to Jesus College and green and a few minutes walk to shops. Perfect place to stay for Cambridge open days as close to most colleges. Room was clean, spacious with everything we need and we loves having a balcony. Although we were on quite a busy road we didn’t hear any road noise during our sleep 😄 Amazing breakfast, more choice than we were expecting. Buffet arrangement of Yoghurt and fresh fruit, cereals, croissants and then hot fry up choices of bacon, sausage, eggs boiled or poached, beans, mushrooms, hash browns, toast and vegetarian sausages. Nice tea, coffees and juices all help yourself. Lovely dining room overlooking a courtyard. We left our luggage in the storage room so we didn’t have to carry it around. Fantastic stay, we will return! 😃

En el pasado he estado en The Rose & Crown muchas veces para negocios, como me gusta el edificio y su historia. La habitación era pequeña pero cómoda y limpia, pero me hizo visita con un gran servicio a cenar y largas conversaciones entre ellos. Es todo sobre la gente, bien hecho y gracias!

He estado aquí 3 veces en las últimas semanas para los pupilas de trabajo y tengo que decir que es una de las mejores experiencias en un largo tiempo. Desde la entrada hasta la salida, he encontrado al personal, a los propietarios y a los regulares muy conocidos y me ha tomado un momento como el estilo y la flauta del establecimiento. Las habitaciones han sido espaciosas, muy limpias y todos han estado a la vuelta para ayudar. Del mismo modo, la comida ha sido una de las mejores que he comido y lo ha puesto en un entorno increíble, es decir, las claves de la cruz. El hotel está muy bien situado, y el hotel está muy bien situado, y el hotel está muy bien situado. En general, muchas gracias a los propietarios David y Rebecca por hacer un trabajo excelente no sólo por elevar las normas, sino que da a todos la oportunidad de contribuir a algunas conversaciones de bar.

The Newark is a budget hotel about a mile from Peterborough city centre, so it may not be ideal for tourists (it's popular with forwarders, construction workers and such). But you can easily reach it by bus (lines 5, 5a) from the centre. The hotel was still being refurbished when I arrived, and my en-suite double was certainly modern and clean. The bathroom facilities I found to be excellent, except there was no rag for the towels to dry, and the bathroom door didn't have a cylinder (yet?). The shower was big (no curtain or door though), and the water pressure adequate (not a given in budget hotels). The bed was comfy, and there was enough storage for my clothes and stuff. A 32” flat-screen Tv was provided, with a remote. Free Wifi was available, too. I really wish they would have provided a toilet brush though! Early check-in went smoothly (direct email contact with the hotel was excellent), don't be put off by the gloomy-looking reception area. There's a very basically furnished garden to the back where you can hang out. The room service was a bit spotty, but I really didn't need it every day anyway. ;)
