If you want to visit local areas you can go to the train station (10 mins) and find the yellow busses which stop in the underpass. They will take you into town and then you switch busses. Around 10 yuan to panda park or ancient town. Take the first bus to the panda park and you should catch them before nap time.
Plenty of places to eat nearby. I uploaded a photo of a very affordable eatery a 10 minute walk away.»

«I booked two nights, but only stayed there one night, because I was not able to come down the mountain on the second day and had to book another hotel in the mountain.
The owner was very helpfull and put my stuff in the room together and out of the the room, so I don't have to hurry down the mountain the next day to check out.

«From the moment we arrived, we were already impressed with this hotel. There were two staff members waiting to welcome us at the entrance, helping with our luggage and explaining everything clearly. Their English was excellent, and the service was honestly one of the best parts of our stay.
The hotel itself is incredibly charming and cozy. The decoration feels warm and friendly, with a lovely balcony area in front filled with beautiful flowers and plants. Our room was very clean, the bed was super soft and comfortable, and we could see the mountains right from the window. The floor heating was also a big plus and made the room extra cozy at night.
One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the food. The yak hotpot was AMAZING. The clear soup was filled with wild mushrooms, Chinese red dates, goji berries, and spices that blended together perfectly. The dipping sauce was the real star — we asked for refills so many times because it was just that good! The matsutake mushroom fried rice was also super fragrant and generously portioned.
Please don’t miss the hotel’s homemade yak milk barley yogurt. It was seriously delicious — sweet and slightly sour, topped with popping barley grains that gave such a fun texture. Their milk teas were also fantastic, especially the rose milk tea which smelled like a whole bouquet of roses, and the barley milk tea was equally good.
The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. They helped arrange local taxis for us to Suangqiaogou entrance and the bus station, and they always tried their best to help with everything we asked for. Everyone was so warm and caring.
Overall, if I ever come back to Siguniangshan, I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend everyone to spend at least one night here — this place made our trip even more special.»

Hay una casa de té en el jardín de la azotea donde se puede tomar té y charlar. Las sillas son de alta gama. Cuando hace calor, la casa de té refresca y el aire es puro. Es un placer charlar con viajeros de todo el mundo. La habitación es muy limpia y tranquila, y la ropa de cama es de buena calidad, así que es muy cómodo tumbarse y dormir. El jefe es muy amable y entusiasta, y siempre se esfuerza por resolver cualquier problema. También hay una lavandería especial y un tendedero al aire libre en la azotea, muy práctico para lavar y secar la ropa. ¡Ideal para estancias largas!

Cuando llegué después de la hora de llegada, mi habitación no estaba lista. Me pidieron que esperara, y cuando dije que estaba cansado y necesitaba descansar, me ofrecieron una habitación diferente (una de categoría superior, con dos camas, que realmente no necesito, pero está bien).
En general, una buena experiencia. Recomiendo alojarse allí.
*** Nota: fue un poco difícil de encontrar para quienes no hablan chino. Hay cuatro mostradores en el vestíbulo, uno de ellos pertenece a este hotel. Hay un código de WeChat que se escanea para contactar con la recepcionista cuando no está.

This is such an excellent and cosy place to stay before going up to Xiling Snow Mountain! The owner is so kind and hospitable. Made sure we were comfortable, upgraded our room to a bigger one as we were large group, and ensured our breakfast served was suitable for Muslims. We can use the kitchen to cook our dinner which she gave us complimentary condiments to use. She really went out of her way to cater to our needs. Amazing views of the river from the rooms as well! Would definitely recommend staying here! Will come again
