Good location, near to Shenyang Imperial palace and other attractions. Easy to reach by subway🚇, Huaiyuanmen station is the nearest station but you need to navigate to get to this hotel. It is located on the inner road next to other apartments. Once you come out of Huaiyuanmen station, Exit B, U-turn and you will see the main gate to Imperial Palace.Walk across the street into the main gate, keeping to your left. This is the inner road...walk along the road for 200m or so, you'll see a BBQ restaurant in your right and a gated parking area next to it. The hotel is just beside this restaurant. It's easy to travel around using public buses too. The young pretty lady reception at the front desk was very helpful and courteous. We stayed here for three nights. But our key card was deactivated on the second day which I don't understand why. The bearded guy, probably the boss activated the card for us after we came downstairs again. Then the next issue was when we opened our room door we were shocked to see that the room was not made up at all, although we had hung the signage at the door before we left in the morning.We came back in the evening, tired after one whole day of touring around Shenyang to find a room not made up and no replenishment of water and basic amenities. We had to go downstairs again to lodge the complaint and he was rather defensive, saying that I should have requested for making up the room at the front desk, in which I asked him what's the use of the signage card for. Thereafter, he took some time to replace the towels, bottled water and other basic toiletries. In another review by another guest, this bearded guy was mentioned as a humorous man. However, I was taken aback by his comments including mentioning that we drink so much water when we requested for two extra bottles of water. FYI, we have been given lots of drinking water all the while when we stayed in China hotels. This is the 10th hotel that we are staying at during our 20-days trip to North Eastern China. The only negative remark is the cleaning service in this hotel is unsatisfactory. Although, the next day the room was supposed to be cleaned, I had to pick up the hair and rubbish that was blocking the water outlet and also some food droppings on the carpet. We're grateful that the hotel management upgraded the room for us. It would have been perfect if they looked into improving their cleaning services and responses to hotel guests. Was great place. Great location. Little bit difficult to control the heat. A little cold in the room. Central heating of the building controls tje heat not the suite itself. Other than that, great location. Nice room

在大連玩了幾天，最滿意的就是住的這家民宿了，忍不住多寫幾句。先説位置，在大連港附近，出門去哪都方便，周邊配套也齊全，不管是去景區還是找吃的都很省心，晚上又不會太吵，休息得特別好。再説房間，整體非常乾淨清爽，每個細節都打理得很到位，住進去就覺得特別放鬆。設施方面該有的都有，用起來也順手，跟在家裡一樣自在。最打動人的是老闆的服務，特別真誠實在，不會油嘴滑舌，但處處都能感覺到用心，回覆消息快，解決問題的效率也高，讓人住得踏實又舒心。住了幾天下來，最大的感受就是這不是那種冷冰冰的商業民宿，而是真正用心在經營的地方。價格也合理，性價比高，花這個錢住出這個體驗，我覺得很值。以後再來大連肯定認準這家了，也會跟身邊的朋友好好推薦，希望老闆一直保持這樣的水準，生意越來越好

My recent stay was an exemplary model of what a seamless and enjoyable hospitality experience should be. From the initial greeting to the final farewell, every element worked in harmony to create a truly memorable visit. The service was nothing short of exceptional. The staff greeted us with genuine warmth and were consistently attentive without being intrusive. Whether it was the concierge offering insightful local recommendations, the housekeeping team maintaining impeccable discretion, or the waitstaff being both knowledgeable and patient, the level of professionalism was uniformly high. It felt less like a transaction and more like being welcomed into a well-managed home. The facilities were equally impressive and clearly designed with guest comfort and convenience in mind. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully appointed, blending modern amenities with a sense of comfort. The common areas, from the lobby lounge to the fitness center and pool, were maintained to a high standard, offering beautiful and functional spaces to relax or rejuvenate. Attention to detail was evident everywhere, contributing to an atmosphere of refined relaxation. As for the food, it was a highlight of the experience. Dining was a pleasure, with a menu that offered both classic favorites and inventive dishes. The ingredients were fresh and of high quality, each meal was beautifully presented, and the flavors were consistently excellent. La habitación era agradable y limpia, la ubicación era muy conveniente. La recepción era increíblemente amable y acomodadora, estaba muy dispuesta a ayudar con mis preguntas sobre la zona y me ayudó en mis arreglamientos de taxis, ya que no conocí la zona en absoluto. Gracias!

The hotel had all the necessary amenities and was just fine. I liked the location, the cleanliness of the room was fine. However, there was a sketchy hole in the bathroom's ceiling right above the shower. Luckily , nothing crawled from there. In general, the hotel was quite old but totally suitable for a short stay.

This hotel's location is genuinely brilliant, right in the city centre next to the Zhongshan subway and plaza, and for this price point, you really can't ask for better. The staff were friendly and helpful despite the language barrier (Google Translate sorted us out fine), and the cleaning team were lovely too. The room was decent and properly clean, I checked for dust and there wasn't any. However, the hotel is quite old, and there was some mould on the ceiling and in the bathroom and shower curtain. It didn't bother me personally, but worth noting, and a bit of spray would be great. That said, Dalian was incredibly humid when I visited in late August, so I suspect this is partly a climate issue. Even my own towels wouldn't dry properly. The place was quite busy, mainly Chinese customers, but they were quiet and discreet. Practical bits: they provide two bottles of water daily and disposable paper towels (which actually came in handy given the humidity). The room also had a washing machine (bring your own detergent) and you can hang clothes outside on the 9th floor veranda. There's a bus stop right outside with direct services to Xian Lu (shopping and basement food market) and the Transport University area night market, the subway goes straight to the airport, and you're walking distance from the main tourist spots like Russian Street, the old tram etc. Plenty of restaurants nearby too. And two convenience stores on ground floor. This place accepts foreign tourists and check-in was quick and easy. Internet was fast but slower in the evenings. Honestly, some of the complaints I've read here seem a bit harsh considering what you're paying. You get what you pay for, and at this price point in this location, I think it's fair value. I'd stay here again, especially if travelling on a budget. Thank you, we had a lovely time in Dalian!

To be frank initially we weren’t too impressed with this hotel. For the same price category in other towns in Dongbei we were given much better rooms. But that changed when we met the boss. He was all politeness, professionalism & he nailed the service attitude perfectly. First he offered us a half day Dandong tour at a reasonable price. He took care of all the related arrangements including taking us for a quick lunch. In the evening we happened by the barbecue stall he was manning & had a meal there. The next morning he helped us with our luggage, suggested a good place for breakfast & then called a taxi for us. His attention to details was meticulous. But what eventually made him stand out from the rest: In his haste to check out my partner had neglected to take his wallet from the desk where it was hidden among all the paraphernalia. Failing to contact us via WeChat the boss rushed to the railway station in his motorbike just to return us the missing wallet. He truly went above & beyond his duty & for that we are infinitely grateful to him. In conclusion should you ever visit Dandong do yourself a favour. Let this remarkable man take care of you. You will appreciate his genuine warm & sincere hospitality. And yes, the location of this hotel is superb. The popular Broken Bridge tourist attraction is just metres away.

Great Location, Some Communication Hurdles The location is very good, within easy walking distance to Zhongjie (中街), which is a major plus. The room was in good order, and the cleaning lady deserves special mention—she was very friendly, helpful, and did her job perfectly. However, the check-in process was a bit confusing. Communication was arranged via WeChat beforehand, but responses were not very responsive. This process seems more suited to locals who can easily make direct phone calls to sort things out, and it may not be the most foreigner-friendly experience. Overall, a good stay thanks to the prime location and excellent cleaning service, but be prepared for some communication challenges during arrival.
