UUsuario invitado: Great location in centre of Cardiff. Comfortable, well appointed rooms. Over-rated restaurant. Staff were pleasant but not very professional not in keeping with Hotel style. Bar and Lounge lack atmosphere. Altogether not good value.

UUsuario invitado: The hotel itself was lovely despite a few issues on check in - namely that the room wasnt ready. When we were told that we could check in, I discovered that I had been given the incorrect room. The hotel reception staff were helpful and eventually found the room I had originally booked and we moved without much fuss. The one disappointing element of the stay was regarding having to pay £10 per adult to swim - granted I did not have to pay for my son but after paying near enough £150 already I was not best impressed at this additional and unexpected charge.

El hotel está a pocos pasos del Castillo de Cardiff, lo que lo hace perfecto para explorar la ciudad. También se encuentra a sólo 20 minutos a pie de la estación ferroviaria central de Cardiff, lo que hizo llegar allí y alrededor muy conveniente. En una mañana decidí probar el desayuno buffet, y definitivamente vale la pena. También tenían máquinas de café con café muy bueno, lo que hizo que la experiencia del desayuno sería aún mejor. Otro destacado fue el bar abajo, que tenía una gran atmósfera y fue un lugar muy agradable para relajarse después de un día de exploración. En general, me quedaría aquí de nuevo y lo recomendaría muy a cualquiera que visite Cardiff, especialmente si aprecia el confort, excelente servicio, una gran ubicación y, sobre todo, sentirse seguro durante su estancia.

The location is perfect — right next to Cardiff Central Station and just a short walk to Principality Stadium and the city centre. The room was modern, very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Friendly staff and a good breakfast selection. Great value for a 4-star hotel in the heart of Cardiff. Would definitely stay again!

UUsuario invitado: Last minute decision to stay over in Cardiff and this is in an ideal location and reasonable price. Staff at reception/bar couldn't have been more helpful when I struggled with the check in units! Room was fine, quiet & with everything I needed. Sunday night but restaurant was still open so had lovely meal there & breakfast the next morning always a cracker. Note their deal if you're having both by the way.

UUsuario anónimo: The hotel is located just by the castle . Amazing location so convenient for everything It’s an old , elegant hotel with a beautiful entrance to the rooms with a great staircase. The rooms need some renovation as it’s obvious they’ve seen better days but it’s totally normal for this type of building to have certain old features in the bathroom or other areas . All in perfect working order The bed and pillows are comfortable and crisp . All clean ( the mirrors and doors could do with a bit more in depth cleaning as I believe they are overlooked but the rest is all good ) The receptionists are all very friendly and helpful They keep suitcases for free in the hotel if you’re travelling some time after your check out The hotel has good facilities , offers full breakfast for £10 and has a bar for snacks and drinks . It also has meeting rooms and other facilities . Great value for money as I got this through a trip.com offer that worked out cheaper than direct booking All in all a great , comfortable stay One more thing the road around the castle seems to be having work done quite often. This is not the hotel’s fault but earplugs for a lye in but be advisable as work starts early

Check-in was smooth and efficient, and I truly appreciated how attentive and friendly everyone was throughout my stay. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The bed and linens were high quality, and I slept better here than I do at home! Small details, like complimentary water, good lighting, and thoughtful amenities, made a big difference. The location is perfect—close to everything I wanted to see, yet quiet enough for a restful night’s sleep. I also enjoyed the breakfast, which offered a great variety of fresh and tasty options. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations. The combination of excellent service, comfort, and convenience makes it a place I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area. I’ll absolutely stay here again on my next trip!
