Pisa Centrale, which opened in 1871, is the primary train station serving the city. The train station is located about 1.2 miles (2 km) south-west of the city centre, easily accessible by walking. You can also opt for motor transportation from the city centre to the train station, including taxi and bus connections

There is a shuttle called the Pisamover that takes passengers back and forth from the train station to the airport in 6 minutes
