We stayed here specifically for the waterpark. My 11 yr old son loved it and had a blast. Even I enjoyed going down the slide with him. The pool area was quite clean and there were always staff available. Our room was standard but clean and the beds were comfortable. They showed breakfast as an amenity but there was none when we were there. We had a good stay and will come back if we visit Sioux Falls again.

All in all a good experience for our family. It was busy but everything seemed to still run very well.

Location is great, right off the highway, but we didn't hear any road noise. Everything is very clean and spacious. After a long day in the car, we wanted to walk, and found that ROAM (an excellent restaurant with delicious smoked food and cocktails) was right at 1 mile away.

Was a very awesome hotel , check in was great , desk clerk very friendly and directed us where to get a good meal . The was room was awesome, bed very comfy, 💯 would stay again. Roomy rooms , has glider and elevator, which is a plus for people that have luggage instead of carrying up the steps, beautiful front setting of the hotel , breakfast was very good. Lobby looked beautiful first time there and we would stay again.

Could of done better…door 3 didn’t have room number right at the entry for which way to go to find our room, we had to go all over to search for ours to find out it’s upstair. Ice machine wasn’t even working…breakfast there was no eggs, French toast and all that at 8am when we came out for breakfast!!! I looked around and everybody else had them and there was none left at 8am and it didn’t looked like they were gonna make more so me and my kid had to go back to the room hungry. Otherwise it was a nice place though

The room was decorated as you would hope in a Town called Deadwood. Super clean. Comfy pillows and bed. Up to date bathrooms. Microwave, mini-fridge, and safe. Staff were extremely warm and friendly. At the conference centre and at the front desk everyone was extremely accommodating. I highly recommend this as a conference venue. Affordable for the participants as it’s rated 3 star, but as the title of my review it should be 5 star!

By far not a “bad” hotel but was disappointed. I travel A LOT across all brands and typically a Residence Inn is one of my favorites. But this location falls short of my expectations. …maybe because it is next door to a water park and instead of business clients, it has more families and vacationers (the place was packed with kids while we were there)? The facility is nice- what you would expect from a Marriott brand. However, a few minor things were noticed. Most nice hotels have now gone back to daily housekeeping- this location has not. We could have requested service during our three days but did not. Not a big deal, but noticeable. Second, the mirror in the bathroom is damaged. Certainly not a big deal, but noticeable. Trust me, I know the brand standards for breakfast service and standards were offered — just without any extras or common sense or attention to detail. Scrambled eggs full of water content (from being microwaved). BUT the container of salsa was there but no cheese like most properties. Bread, English muffins and bagels were there but no danish or nutra-grain type bars common at most locations. No waffles, no Nutella (for bananas) but they did have the standard peanut butter, oatmeal was empty two out of three mornings. Standard orange and apple juice but lacking the usual cranberry at most locations. Temperatures were in upper 90’s in Rapid City but no urn of ice water infused with lemons or cucumbers in the lobby. But hot coffee is yours for the taking. I just left a Townplace Suites by Marriott earlier in the week. There for breakfast each morning, you had two kinds of waffles with a rotating fruit compote (strawberry and blueberry), chocolate sauce, whipped cream and sprinkles were also offered. In addition, there was a rotating egg choice (scrambled egg, omelet style with cheese on the mornings I was there PLUS rotating protein (bacon, sausages etc), Plus an entree choice that also rotates (quiche, ham and Swiss croissant, sausage biscuit while we were there. Cranberry and chocolate milk. Now back to the Residence Inn: Again no quiche, biscuits, or step up offerings but today instead of scrambled egg, they had round eggs (think McDonald’s egg McMuffin style) which would have been fine if I could have made my own, but the only protein was long link sausage— so no muffin sandwich for me (bacon or Canadian bacon or patty sausage would have worked but oh yeah no cheese at this location. Of course none of this is really a big deal in itself but it falls short compared to other Marriott experiences.

This hotel is very new, clean, close to KFSD with a free shuttle to both Maverick Air Center for private aviation and the terminal. Excellent beds and bedding as well as really nice black out curtains ensure great night’s sleep. The Crooked Pint Ale House is the hotel’s restaurant which is really good. Fun menu, great drinks and wonderful staff. The locals frequent this place too which is always a sign of an excellent hotel restaurant. Two staff members from the front desk were probably the very best stand outs for us. Edgar picked us up in the shuttle from Maverick Air Center and he was so friendly, professional and personable. Then we met Din at the front desk and he was excellent also. This hotels gets too marks all round. We hope to come back soon.

Las habitaciones son más espaciosas y las instalaciones son más nuevas. Hay un pequeño balcón que da al exterior. El hotel está muy cerca de Su Waterfall Park, a poca distancia, el desayuno también es bastante rico, ¡más asequible!

La habitación está bien equipada con una zona sentada separada del dormitorio. La zona de escritorio es la separación. La televisión está entre y puede fluir entre las dos partes. Puede utilizar su teléfono como la remota para la televisión. Una pequeña zona de bar con microondas y nevera. La nevera no tenía un congelador. El baño tenía una hermosa ducha. Espacial con buenas toallas y presión de agua. Nice iluminación en toda la habitación. Podría ser oscura o brillante como usted deseaba. La cama estaba cómoda y limpia. Sólo una parte tenía una mesa de cama. Las sombras de la habitación oscuras en las ventanas. Aunque estaba cerca del interestado, estaba tranquilo en la habitación. El desayuno típico tipo cosas en el lobby. No hay nada especial allí. Tiene piscina y área de ejercicio.

El hotel cuenta con una gran variedad de pan y frutas, con cebollas, huevos reales con queso, biscoitos y pasteles, salsa, bar de ovejas y una variedad de pan y frutas. La piscina fue calentada, siempre un bono y el tubo de calor era bastante grande. Toallas de piscina eran espesas y suaves. Precio: El precio era un poco fuerte por una noche - 150 dólares por noche. En general, hay muchas opciones en Sioux Falls, así que depende de lo que buscas en un hotel. Si tienes discapacidad o problemas de movilidad en todo esto no es el hotel para ti. No hay un parking discapacidad en el hotel, sólo parking compartido a unos pocos kilómetros. Hay un servicio valet, pero se habían ido por el día que llegó. Para añadir insulto a la herida, incluso después de preguntar sobre las opciones de estacionamiento de discapacidad, la habitación que me dieron estaba al final del hotel, que es un bloque largo. We were in a bind finding last-minute accommodations for our trip and had never stayed at a Marriott before. We were pleasantly surprised by how great this hotel was. Though it wasn't in the main thoroughfare, we ended up driving into town and paying for parking, despite paying for parking at hotel, too, we would stay here again. (I'm sure you can walk pretty easily to main part of town, but we were busy and the walk was really hot and unshaded.) The room was HUGE and very clean. The pool area was just as nice as everyone said and the hours were later than advertised, too. 10pm-midnight was a no kids allowed zone and it was perfect for relaxing after a long day of trail rides and hiking. Morning breakfast was pretty standard and dull, so we mostly just grabbed coffee and went on our way with some granola bars. Parking above ground was always available and felt safe to us. Don't know what some other reviewers were scared of. The room was quiet at night and the A/C worked. Doris, the manager at the front desk was super helpful and friendly to us and explained the pool, some local tips, and the trolley outside. She was great!
