Booked a 3 bedroom apartment only to find out it was a studio and a 2 bedroom next to each other. Check in was pretty straight forward and there was plenty of parking lots for guests. Room has a stale smell but the toilets were stink with sewage odour, even the air freshener we bought couldn't mask the bad odour. We also killed 2 cockroaches in the washrooms. Seems like these apartments were vacant for some time. Don't think I would stay in this apartment in future.

My usual haunt for a short overnight stay in JB. Location is excellent, hotel standard is not fantastic but acceptable for a simple stay over, for a guy who is not too particular.

We booked this accommodation at the last min as we were looking for a play to stay. Location was great, near CIQ and Komtar JBCC. Room wasn’t very clean but liveable for one night. There was a stain on our comforter and bedsheet (as seen in pic) and we told the staff to change it but I think due to miscom they gave us a thin piece of blanket (?) instead. So we basically slept without a comforter but it’s fine cos the aircon wasn’t very cold. It got colder towards the morning. There wasn’t any hair dryer too. We could also hear vehicles passing by and people closing their doors etc, the area wasn’t very soundproof. Still, we managed to get a good rest. Would recommend if you’re not fussy and looking for cheaper alternatives.

Room large but TV outdated, aircon not cold, no USB plug for charging despite hotel had undergone recent renovations, check in/out very slow despite only 2 guests in the line. Hotel location is great with many food outlets within walking distance and also night market on every Monday evening . Next to main road and also very near to JB town. Price wise very competitive. Would still choose to stay here the next trip.

this is best apartment stay thus far. location of apartment is good. the unit itself is well maintained, clean and considered quite new. will want to stay again! (oh swimming pool is big! kids love it!)

The price is good and there is a food street, convenience stores and a Watsons within the same shop lot area. Really good place! The room itself is a little run down, but not uncomfortable. The aircon goes down real cold and the water can go up to scorching hot. There’s a hairdryer. I would recommend you stay in a room with a window instead of a room without because the experience is so much better.

Estado en Fives Hotel DNP JB por una noche y en general estoy muy contento con la estancia. La habitación estaba muy bien limpia, muy impresionada. Las camas estaban muy cómodas, todo se sentía fresco y bien mantenido. La situación de la habitación era buena y acogedora, definitivamente un lugar cómodo para descansar después de un largo día. La iluminación y el diseño de la habitación se sienten calientes y relajados. El hotel está muy bien situado, y el hotel está muy bien situado. I am extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. Honestly, this is one of the worst hotels I have ever experienced in my life. First of all, the bed is unbelievably hard — it feels more like sleeping on a wooden board than a mattress. On top of that, the air conditioning is extremely noisy, making it almost impossible to fall asleep or stay asleep throughout the night. What made it even worse is the pillows. They are excessively hard and uncomfortably high, causing serious neck discomfort. I genuinely do not understand how any guest is expected to get a proper rest under these conditions. I even called the front desk to request a different pillow, but was told that all pillows are the same and cannot be changed. This kind of response is completely unacceptable for any hotel that claims to provide comfort and service. Overall, this stay was a terrible experience. I will definitely not return, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values a good night’s sleep. ------------------------------- Saya sangat kecewa dengan pengalaman menginap di hotel ini. Overall, I highly recommend Almas for anyone seeking a high-quality stay with great service and comfort. It exceeded my expectations and I would definitely return.
