es la segunda ocasión que reservo, me gusta mucho la ubicación, el aseo es muy bueno, el estacionamiento pues pudiera mejorar pero se entiende que no es tan accesible por la propiedad que es pequeña, y como todo, hay aspectos minimos a mejorar, nada que demerite lo agusto de la estancia.

Overall, the hotel itself was decent. The room, food, and general service were acceptable, and most of the staff were friendly. However, I had a very disappointing experience with the tour desk inside the hotel, especially when it came to payment. On my first day, the tour representative was very friendly, so I decided to book a tour through them. When I paid, the staff member spent quite a while setting up the card terminal and deliberately kept the part showing the exchange rate out of my view. I was never shown the exchange rate clearly, and I was never asked whether I agreed to have the transaction converted into Canadian dollars. I only found out afterward, when I received the transaction notification from my credit card company. The exchange rate they used was extremely poor, and I ended up paying about CAD $30 more than I should have. What bothered me most was that I had no idea this currency conversion was being applied at the time of payment. My understanding is that with Dynamic Currency Conversion, the customer should be clearly shown the exchange rate and final amount and should be given the choice to accept or decline it. That did not happen in my case. I did not go back to argue with them after I discovered it because I did not want this issue to ruin the rest of my vacation. However, after checking online reviews, I also found comments from other guests mentioning similar issues involving exchange rates and deposits. Because of that, I do not believe my experience was simply an innocent misunderstanding. The whole situation felt very misleading. In fact, I had already read some reviews about questionable exchange rates before the trip, so I specifically brought cash to pay the deposit in order to avoid this problem. Unfortunately, I still ended up being charged this way when making the final payment. The tour itself was also not a good fit for us. Almost everyone in the group was local, and the guide mainly spoke Spanish, so if you do not understand Spanish, you may miss a lot of the experience and there were some safety issues too. I also felt the tour was poor value and that several parts of the day seemed focused on encouraging additional spending. The tour was also highly overpriced. To be fair, I would not say the hotel itself is bad. I would still consider staying here again. However, I would strongly recommend being very careful with the tour desk and with any credit card payment. Make sure you can clearly see the currency, exchange rate, and final amount before tapping or inserting your card, and insist on being charged in MXN unless you personally choose otherwise.

Nos quedamos dos noches, todo es muy higiénico, el restaurante sabe bien, el precio no es alto, pero no hay muchas opciones. El entorno externo está bien. Hay dos piscinas y wifi en las zonas comunes, pero las habitaciones no, y son muy sencillas. Aparte de la ropa de cama y el baño básico, no hay otras instalaciones. Por supuesto, el precio es solo este paquete, así que elige según tus necesidades.

The hotel was clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable to sleep in. My unit was spacious and the bedroom was bright with sunlight, and I really appreciated having the mini fridge microwave and coffee machine. The suite was otherwise very lackluster - the walls were barren of any decorations and very little furniture. I really wish there was a workdesk for using my laptop, and a full body mirror for getting dressed for the evenings out. The water pressure to both the sink and the shower was very low, and upkeep was inconsistent - there was no toilet paper holder (it looks like it was broken off the wall and not replaced) and the suite door didn't open fully before scraping against the floor. The hotel itself lacks any even basic amenities such as a lounge space. It looks like it was intended to have a rooftop patio but instead that area is unfinished and used by the staff for storage and laundry. My biggest complaint is actually their guest hours of 9am to 9pm is very restrictive, which I didn't know about until I checked in and would never have booked here if I knew that rule existed. I tried to bring a couple of guys home from the club and the concierge wanted to charge me 300 for the second one. If I need just a place to sleep I'll stay here again otherwise I wouldn't.

The hotel is super close to the beach. I had one of those rooms where you can see the beach partially. The bed was good and big. The closet also big. I had balcony. There was no AC at the room but if you leave the AC from the living room ON and the fan ON the fresh air comes to your room too indeed. There is a big security box. The kitchen has cups, plates, silverware, wine opener, big fridge, coffee maker, pans, etc. They give you soap for dishes ONLY if you ask for it. Only one toilet paper in the bathroom.The room can be cleaned ONLY in the 3rd day after you arrived. There is a little room where you can put trash close to the stairs. I really got super annoyed internet could ONLY work in the room. So if you need internet in the balcony, living room or kitchen FORGET IT. As a solo traveler internet was very important to me because I needed to stay connected with people. All my phone data finished in the 2nd day at the beach. This hotel really need to work to fix this internet issue. It is not fun to be there alone with no internet during a super HOT day.

Nuestra habitación estaba a 2 pies del ascensor en el vestíbulo principal. Podemos escuchar a cada persona hablando y caminando por nuestra puerta, así como a los niños gritando porque la heladería estaba a 15 pies de distancia. La cantidad de presión que están ejerciendo sobre cada huésped para que asista a la promoción de tiempo compartido es increíble. Si asistes, normalmente te dan algunos obsequios decentes. Recibimos un vale de $200 para gastar en comida y bebidas. La mayoría de las veces no querían aceptar vales, o tenías que gastar los $50 completos de una vez porque la regla no era la devolución del dinero. Entonces, si gastamos $30 o $40, tenemos que darles $50. La comida era todo menos buena. La cena promocional de tacos fue asquerosa, con pescado seco, carne sin sabor y pollo seco y demasiado cocido. Y no aceptaron vales. Regresé a casa con un vale de $50 sin usar en mi bolsillo porque no podía usarlo. Ramón y Martín de la recepción fueron las personas más amables, cálidas y amigables que he conocido. Todos los servidores y trabajadores son personas muy trabajadoras.

El lugar es muy cómodo, para escapada de pareja me parece ideal, el agua de la alberca muy calientita

La relación precio/rendimiento es bastante alta y el transporte es muy conveniente: la estación de metro está justo afuera de la puerta y se tarda 15 minutos a pie hasta la catedral. Hay una tienda de conveniencia 711 al lado.

I really enjoyed my stay at La Villa del Ensueño. It is a charming boutique hotel full of Mexican character, with colorful walls, beautiful courtyards, greenery and lovely traditional details throughout the property. What impressed me most was the service. The staff were extremely friendly, warm and helpful, and made me feel very welcome throughout my stay. I also loved the complimentary evening drinks — I enjoyed both a tequila and a margarita! 🍹 Breakfast was another highlight. Instead of a simple buffet, it was a proper sit-down, made-to-order breakfast with a good selection. I had the chicken chilaquiles with both salsa verde and salsa roja, and really enjoyed it. A beautiful little hotel with lots of character and excellent hospitality. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Guadalajara. ❤️

Llegamos para nuestra estancia de 10 días y en el check-in nos informaron que la piscina de familia estaba cerrada para renovaciones y que todos los huéspedes estaban utilizando la piscina de adultos. (que es mucho más pequeño. Sin necesidad de decir que la piscina estaba envuelta con niños con juguetes de agua, etc, saltando esplástico (teniendo mucho divertido) Fue difícil sentarse junto a la piscina, ya que todas las sillas se tomaron muy temprano del día y entrar en la piscina No se puede relajarse. Si supiéramos que habríamos reservado en otro lugar, porque esto realmente afectaba el placer de nuestras vacaciones. También el personal delantero que trató de decirnos en nuestro último almuerzo no estaba incluido. Le mostré el correo que había enviado. No estaban muy cómodos y relutantes en dejarnos almorzar. Dejó un sabor amargo
