My partner and I received outstanding service during our stay at Residence Le Point Choisy in Mauritius. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that truly exceeded our expectations. Throughout our stay, every member of their staff went above and beyond to ensure that we felt welcomed and cared for. More so I want to extend a special thanks to Yash and Matt for arranging special activities, recommending exquisite dining options and simply attending to our needs with a smile, you both consistently demonstrated a level of professionalism and attentiveness that left a lasting impression on us. We definitely recommend guests to book at their place and we look forward to returning to your beautiful resort in the future and creating more cherished memories.

You need to manage your expectations when you book a stay at Ocean Villas. You might have watched their fancy YouTube video but it's not reality. You'll also see videos from past guests. And it's fair to say that these videos show the icing on the cake and core ingredients. If you saw a married couple from South Africa touring the hotel, be warned that they've shown the best parts. It's a 3 star establishment. And that means you're going to have to put up with a property that was built circa 1980s. There were signs of wear and tear everywhere. As you walk through the front door, some parts of the villas needed a bit of filler and a lick of paint. Some of the furniture had seen better days and our shower door leaked every time we took a shower. But the villa was clean. The beds were comfortable and our villa had amenities that you wouldn't expect. A safe, hair dryer and a microwave was available. A bottle of mineral water (Crystal) was also provided on arrival and parking outside the villas was convenient. As for the grounds, the gardens are kept well. It's not going to blow you away but again it's 3 star. The swimming pool didn't look as clean as we'd like. We opted not to go for a dip. The cushions on the seats were covered in stains. Not great. The beach was decent. The view out to the bay was great. You can swim but when we stayed, the sea was choppy but that's not the hotel's problem. What's great about Oceans Villa is its location. You're only 5 minutes away in a car from the best public beaches. Namely Trou aux Biches, Mon Choisy, Pereybere and La Cuvette. So you're spoilt for choice. We'd like to praise the service at the hotel. The kitchen staff and serving staff were accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. The entertainment in the evening was particularly good, and you'll certainly be tapping your toes and most likely dancing. Lastly the food. There's a good selection of food but too much MSG added to it. Every morning, we woke up to that awful salty taste on our tongues. So as you can gather there's some good parts to Oceans Villas but you're going to have to put up with some bad parts. if you're on a budget and happy to stay in a 3 star establishment where you can experience the beaches in the North, it's a good place to stay. Would we stay there again? I'd most likely opt for a self catering apartment. We felt for the money, we'd get better quality of facilities but then again we'd have to prepare our food.

El hotel es increíble para el precio que tiene. Está en una de mis zonas favoritas de la isla, además en frente tiene una playa en la que vi los atardeceres más bonito de la isla. Es muy bonito, las piscinas son preciosas y las habitaciones igual. El buffet es pequeñito pero está muy rico, sobretodo la comida que te preparan al momento. Además, hay buena variedad de comida para personas vegetarianas. A parte del buffet hay más opciones de comida, yo probé el puesto Taba J y estaba riquísimo. El personal es increíblemente simpático, siempre está atento a tus necesidades y a que todo esté bien. En especial, me gustaría mencionar al personal de recepción Manuela, Giana, Anne Laura, Damini e Isabelle que estuvieron siempre pendientes de nosotras. Sin duda, espero volver lo antes posible.

Nous sommes partis sur cette île sans s’y être vraiment plongé dedans, nous en revenons changé, tombés amoureux de ce lieu si riche en culture, nature, humanité. Une vraie leçon de vie. Nous sommes partis ce mois de Janvier 2025, avec Promo Vacances qui ont tout gérés pour nous, des vols aux transferts en passsant par l’hôtel et le tour opérateur des excursions. Une conseillère à notre écoute et dynamique. Nous avons découvert Des paysages éblouissants, des rencontres gravées à jamais, du partage quotidien. Nous sommes certains que nous y retournerons et le jour où nous y retournerons ce sera au même endroit sans hésiter. Un hôtel idéalement situé , son côté familial et chaleureux, Valérie et Cyril les patrons et leur équipe sont si bienveillants, une restauration de qualité et un confort inégalable. Nous sommes convaincus que ce n’était qu’une première approche avec cette île. Coralie et Mikael

We, a group of 4 couples from Australia, have had a fabulous 3-night stay at Toparadis. The staff were sensational and couldn’t have been more obliging. Those at front of house, the cleaners, the man who looked after us in the evening, the security and the management made us so welcome. We even had a late late checkout (6pm) on the day of our departure. The taxi booked to take us to the airport didn’t come and those on duty secured a last minute replacement. Rooms are good, pool is great, as is the location - bus stop at front and beach over the road. We all recommend staying at Toparadis. Thanks to all - Jenni
