This hotel is seriously the best! Kazuki San made our trip absolutely amazing. He was so helpful with everything. He is nice and talkative. His family was super friendly too, which made us feel so welcome. We loved every minute of our stay. It truly felt magical, like something out of a dream. Thanks for the gift and photos. This hotel's art gallery is seriously impressive. They've got some amazing pieces on display. And breakfast in the cafe feels great. We can't wait to come back again. Highly recommend this place to everyone!

对不是日本人完全不友善的酒店 Not foreigner ( Western & Asian) friendly. We travelled around 70 Roykan in the last 3 years and this is the wrost service we ever had. Japanese get to seat and offered juices when they checked in while we have to stand at the front desk and no juice offered. We asked for the yukata rental (free rental) and the young staff just ignore us twice. We asked for sizes a few times then he just said it’s all here. Then when we picking the only two small sizes he grabbed and give it to the Japanese girl and ignore us or never ask us before he took it as he knows we are looking into those. Very rude. Most of ryokan will bring you to the room or assist to bring luggage or already put in the room for you. This one you do everything yourself after check in. When we get into the hotel room it’s hot as no aircon is on. Then air con is broken so we called reception. With their broken English they insisted I don’t know how to turn on the aircon which I told them the air con is broken, after 15mins on the phone showing me how to on I keep telling them to send the staff up as we are so hot in the room as it’s summer and no window open and no fan was on after moving luggage. They came up and fix the air con for 45mins then told us it’s broken and need to change room. The whole hour we were sweating but no offer of water / drinks or anything and we just stand in the room while they fixing. When they decided the room need to be changed, they asked us to wait downstairs but leave the luggage in the room so we thought they will move luggage to the new room but they did not. Staff see us so hot at lobby didn’t tell us there is free drinking machine that we can get ice juices , they just watch us hot and sweat and not saying a word. When the new room is finished, they gave us the new room key and asked us to move the luggage ourself and return the old key. No help at all and wasted 1.5 hours of our onsen time. No apologies as well. I feel like being treated like a trash. Not enjoyable at all. I paid extra for the sea view room which when they change my room they offered a slightly bigger room but my sea view was mostly blocked (in the pic )which I am not so happy. There is amenities corner at the lobby, at night after the onsen we come back and want to take the lotion as early on it was gone and they didn’t replenish, the female staff have a bad attitude and flip her eyes ask us which room we stayed, we showed her the key and she said the cream is already in the room which her broken English. There is one set in the room but those are small one time pack which we finish after we had the onsen so we want to take another one. She was rude and insist we can’t take. Her attitude was so bad seems like we are stealing. There is an amenities cornor, if you not allowing guest to take please do not have this setup. Food is okay with the buffet. Wagyu beef is nice but they is a normal standard for Japanese onsen buffet nothing too special. Overall, with the price paying compare to other roykan in Japan, this hotel have very bad service to non Japanese. There is also nothing special for this onsen. Probably best to try somewhere else.

Very good service provided by the staff of the hotel. Sleeping robe, shaver, comb, tooth brush and tooth paste is provided free. There is a self-service laundry room, which costs 500Yen for 3 kg load, 2 hours. Hotel is very near to the Sannomiya train station and there are supermarkets, Daiso, restaurants, and a bowling centre just next door. Perfect for families. The room is very big and comes with 4 beds. Ample space to open 3 luggage bags and walk around. Love the hair dryer provided in the room!

It is a wonderful hotel, a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the nature, onsens and exclusively excellent Kaisai dinner. You can book two private onsens per 1 day (e.g. one in the evening and 1 in the morning) and also 1 private stay in sauna. You can spend time together with your couple. Public onsens are almost free all the time, so you can enjoy them either. We really loved our stay, the hospitality of all staff and free transfer provided. I have looked through many hotels, but this was the best with quality price ratio.

Останавливались в отеле в октябре 2024 года. Взяли два номера на двоих. Плюсы: 1. Великолепные номера в стиле классического рекана: все очень красивое, аутентичное, масса мелких деталей, записок и подсказок для гостей, интересных безделушек в номере. У нас были кровати, а не футоны, но минусом это никак не назвать - кровати удобнейшие. Вид из номера (3 этаж) - на горы. Чистота идеальная, в номере есть все, что должно быть в номере классического рекана: от татами, до низкого столика для отдыха. 2. Бесподобный ужин кайсеки. Великолепный завтрак сукияки (готовишь себе сам). 3. Красивейшие интерьеры отеля, по нему интересно гулять, изучая его изнутри. Отель красивый снаружи тоже. 4. В номерах можно курить (мы этого не делали, да и номера не прокуренные совершенно). Есть курилка при входе в отель. 5. Чудесный персонал. Все просьбы и жалобы удовлетворяются за минуты. Плохо говорят на английском, но это не беда, общались через переводчик. Ребята классные, веселые. Быстрый чек-ин, куча напоминалок по поводу того, куда и во-сколько приходить / что и как правильно делать. 6. Есть приватный онсен (мы не пользовались). 7. Дают беспланый пропуск в 7 общественных онсенов. Дают скидки на сувениры. 8. Дают отличные юкаты для онсенов, для женщин - дадут красивые, выбор огромный. Нюансы: 1. Единственный минус отеля - удаленность от центра Киносаки (15-20 минут ходьбы по не слишком красивым местам). Но! Есть бесплатный трансфер от отеля до центра города, плюс есть трансфер вокзал-отель-вокзал. Да и ходьба от отеля до центра Киносаки нас особо не напрягала. 2. Это не бизнес-отель, поэтому ни стиралки, ни утюга, ни душа в номере нет. Душ (а по факту - онсен) общий на минус первом этаже - отдельный для мужчин и женщин.

The hotel closed to the Sannomiyacho where you can find food, shopping, etc. if you plan to go to Motomachi Shopping Street & Nankinmachi (Chinatown), they are all in walking distance (within 18 min). If you are planning to start with a road trip, there is one rental car shop just at the ground level back door of the hotel.

Beautiful and delicate hotel just like any other Fairfield. Walkable distance to lots of restaurants and local corner stores

Enjoyed our stay and experiencing our first onsen and kaiseki! They provided us with yukatas and passes to access the public baths, also had 3 private onsens on site. Friendly staff, lots of food included in the dinner and breakfast which they serve in your room and set up/pack up your bedding, with option for continental breakfast on our 2nd day instead of japanese style. Quiet, clean and futon bed was surprisingly comfortable. It’s about 8min walk from the train station which was fine for us but there’s a bus shuttle option right outside the station, and the hotel also offer bag drop off for a small fee when you leave so you don’t need to carry them. It’s close to the ropeway that you can ride up for nice views. Also right near the best public onsen in our opinion. (Be sure to check the onsen hours we missed out on one and note 2 are currently closed for renovations). A few things worth noting - breakfast is served early, you can pick 8 or 8.30am. If you are sensitive to light, it’s not completely dark when sleeping, sun comes through the windows as it has the traditional paper screen style. Also there in not a shower in your room, you need to use the onsen showers (either the private ones on site which you can’t book so can’t guarantee availability but both times we wanted to use them we were able to, or at the public onsens.) Overall we would recommend staying here to treat yourself to some peaceful rest and relaxation.

Se menciona que la ubicación está a unos 5 o 7 minutos de la estación, según dónde leas sobre ella. Creo que son más bien 8 o 10 minutos. No está lejos, pero no lo suficientemente cerca como para llevar el equipaje cómodamente. Quiero darle al lugar 5 estrellas, pero también quiero darle 2 estrellas. El servicio fue bueno. Nos ayudaron a trasladarnos a través de la lluvia. La señora que nos sirvió la cena fue muy paciente y servicial. Lamentablemente, hay un gran problema. La habitación que recibimos no tiene vista al río Maruyama ni al jardín, aunque se anuncia como tal en las fotos y descripciones del sitio web. Nuestras habitaciones tenían vista al estacionamiento y a la calle, a la que la recepción se refirió como una vista de ”montaña”. Lo siento, pero esto simplemente no es una buena práctica. DEBES hacer que esto sea un tipo diferente de habitación con un precio diferente y dejar que los clientes decidan el valor. No habría reservado si hubiera sabido esto. También hay otro pequeño problema. En general, la cena estuvo bastante bien, pero vi que otros clientes recibieron cenas diferentes, con cangrejo de las nieves entero y sake. Nosotros recibimos parte de un cangrejo de las nieves y vino blanco barato. Estoy confundido. Sería útil tener una explicación. De lo contrario, no puedo evitar pensar que estos problemas se deben a que no soy un cliente japonés.

La ubicación es excelente, prácticamente al lado de la estación de tren de Sannomiya. Sin embargo, actualmente hay una gran obra en construcción justo enfrente del hotel, y si no se presta atención, es fácil que pase desapercibida. Tenga en cuenta también que hay dos hoteles Tokyu Rei muy cerca uno del otro, y si toma un taxi desde la estación de Shin Kobe, recuerde especificar claramente que el destino es el Sannomiya Tokyu Rei y no el cercano en Moto Machi, al que nos llevó el conductor. Como suele ocurrir en la mayoría de los hoteles de Japón, aunque teníamos una habitación doble, el espacio era bastante limitado y apenas teníamos suficiente para abrir una maleta mediana, y mucho menos dos. Una gran ventaja fue la gran cantidad de opciones gastronómicas disponibles, todas a poca distancia a pie, con muchos restaurantes justo detrás del hotel y más a lo largo de la calle principal, que lleva a una hilera de restaurantes y cafeterías para todos los presupuestos. El registro de entrada se realizó mediante una máquina táctil, algo habitual en Japón, y el personal estuvo disponible para ayudar y guiarle en todo momento. Además, fueron muy amables y nos proporcionaron información útil sobre dónde comer bien y cómo llegar a otros lugares de interés. Dada su proximidad a la estación de tren, la variedad de restaurantes y el precio que pagamos, Kobe Sannomiya Tokyu Rei es una buena opción para alojarse en Kobe.
