Si tienes un vuelo temprano y necesitas un lugar cerca para descansar, ¡te recomiendo este hotel! Está ubicado en la segunda planta del aeropuerto, lo cual es muy práctico. La habitación estaba limpia y era muy cómoda, y las comodidades eran excelentes. El desayuno también estuvo muy bueno, con muchas opciones para elegir. El personal fue muy amable y servicial; nos ayudaron a subir las maletas y siempre estuvieron ahí cuando necesitábamos algo. En general, todo estuvo genial. Si vuelvo a Medan, ¡sin duda me alojaré aquí!

This hotel is very close to Kualanamu Airport, about 20 minutes by car.
The Wi-Fi service is fast, and the password even made me smile.
The reception staff were friendly and efficient, but when I asked for help with the luggage trolley, the communication with the staff on the ground was a bit slow to respond to the pager.
In the end, we only waited a few minutes, not hours, so it wasn’t a big problem.
The room was comfortable, just right for a transit stay while waiting for the next flight.

La primera sorpresa fue que el barco nos dejó en el mismísimo hotel por lo que solo tuvimos que subir y hacer el check in por la noche. Las vistas del bufet eran maravillosas aunque la calidad de la comida no era la mejor está en un sitio perfecto para salir a disfrutar de los hoteles cercanos. El personal no pudo ser más agradable, nos sentimos clientes vip en todo momento y por lo que pagamos por la habitación diría que todo el personal es de sobresaliente.

* Prime Location. It is right next to the Medan Train Station and literally side-by-side with Centre Point Mall, making shopping and transport incredibly convenient.
* Outstanding Staff: The reception team was professional! I truly appreciated them granting me a late check-out until 1:00 PM.
While the room was on the smaller side, it was clean and well-maintained.
However I noticed the pillow sheets were quite old and had turned a dark, faded color. They definitely weren't white anymore! Housekeeping should retire these linens and ensure only fresh, bright whites are used for guests.
I spotted some small ants near the desk/phone area. A quick treatment from maintenance would help keep the workspace clean.

Estupendo personal útil. La habitación más grande que he estado en. Se sentía como una casa. Buena ubicación. El desayuno es promedio en el mejor. Tiene un A y W junto a la recepción, así que es un plus. Altamente recomenda alojamiento presupuestario.

Amazing resort hotel in the island. delicious meal & friendly staff, the standard service is so high.
I love the pool and secluded garden, location is right on the beach.
Strong WiFi connection and all facilities.
The individual bungalow has beautiful Balinese art attached.
I can't thank you enough for well management hotel.
I will deffo come back again

- The check-in process is smooth, good and requests are fulfilled.
- clean and tidy rooms, amenities available.
- TV channels are very bad, TV broadcasts are difficult to watch.
- the swimming pool was very busy and full, there were no officers on duty, the pool floor was very dirty with food and water waste, there were no officers to clean the area. There are not enough changing rooms for crowded conditions.
- The corridor floor is muddy and watery due to visitors.
- In the breakfast restaurant, many of the menus are out of stock, there are no seats because it is full of visitors, many people fight over food like village people who never eat well.
- the checkout process was good and there were no problems.
Hopefully in the future it will be more organized and improved for the better.

Leider lässt die Sauberkeit etwas zu wünschen übrig und an Details & Austattung mangelt es.
Für Instagram Posts eignet sich die Unterkunft mit ihrem schönen Ausblick allerdings grandios.
Lage ist ruhig und ziemlich abgelegen.
Service ist sehr lieb und bemüht, obwohl die Kommunikation auf Englisch manchmal etwas holprig war.
Insgesamt ein guter Aufenthalt, allerdings ist der Preis zu hoch.

TTrip.com local guidesThe service from the staff was very decent. But the room was severely lacking. The bed was sunken in …. There was an odor in the hallway. The air conditioning made a lot of noise. Non smoking rooms are indeed available but many guests flout the rules and if you’re unlucky like I was assigned a room next to a very heavy smoker the smoke from his room was entering mine through the gaps in the partition door.

UUsuario invitadoWonderful upscale hotel in Dolok Sanggul clearly catering to foreign tourists. It's an impressive place visually from the outside, with a roomy, partially open-air dining/restaurant area making full use of the beautifully mild climate of the mountainous area south of Lake Toba. Breakfast is served starting at 7am and the restaurant appears to be open all day, though service stops at 10pm except for room-service beverage requests. Beverages are primarily juices, teas and coffees, though beer is also an option (Bintang). Food options are a mix of Batak/Indonesia, Chinese and Western-style. Most of the Western options were either steaks or pasta, and they were out of the steak. Unfortunately, I ended up with food poisoning later that night but I don't think it's fair to ding them for that.
The room was very comfortable. An armoire for hanging clothes as well as another hanging rack. Complimentary towel and room slippers. Television had several HBO channels as well as more local programming, perhaps 12-15 stations total to choose from.
The bathroom is definitely oriented towards tourists. Some basic toiletries like toothbrush/toothpaste. Western-style flush toilet with both toilet paper and the traditional butt-gun water hose. Shower gave good hot water although controls were very touchy. There was a hand/body soap dispenser in the shower but no bar soaps in the bathroom or shampoo. There were no signs indicating you shouldn't drink the tap water but, it's Indonesia and you should never drink the tap water if you're a tourist. Two small bottles of water were in the room along with a coffee-maker.
Definitely a great option if you're in the area.

Location is central within 20min walking radius of major malls ( Plaza Medan Fair/Sun/Cambridge), Damri airport bus ( in front of Plaza Medan Fair), family massage/reflexology outlets (Jl.Orion), and the popular medan cakes outlets eg ”bika ambon” (Zulaikha)/”bolu” (Meranti).
Car park is available with security.
However, the complimentary breakfast is only set without selection option.

UUsuario invitadoThe service was good, one highlight to afternoon staff, when I approach the counter for check in, there is one one man came to reception in the middle of my registration and asking about the room availability, I expect the staff will say, can I get back to you? let me handle her first, but instead he check the room availability on the different system beside mine. At last he handled me. He might be only make sure that there is room vacant, but you can only focus on who come first and then you can move on to another, after all its accor brand. Overall experience the room is clean, the bathroom very god and clean. Will be back for sure

Caters only locals almost nothing available for Westerners overall it’s not a bad stay, but for my next trip, this would not be my first choice. If I have to I will stay again. Also, there are cheaper options about the same quality. The hotel stuff is nice though helpful

LLynn99I recently stayed at the Samosir Cottage on Samosir Island from November 29 to December 1, 2024.
The room was spacious, a significant plus. However, the toilet area required attention, with ants present, as mentioned in previous reviews. While this was acceptable for me, it's an area for improvement.
What truly impressed me was the exceptional service from the receptionist. They clearly explained options and kindly upgraded us to a bigger room. Their helpfulness and professionalism made a significant difference in our stay.
We booked two deluxe rooms, but the first room had a smoke smell, prompting us to request a change or upgrade.
Overall, while there's room for improvement in bathroom maintenance and mattress covers, the Samosir Cottage's spacious rooms and excellent service make it a solid choice for those visiting Samosir Island.
