Ubicación: Absolutamente inmejorable, a solo un minuto a pie del aeropuerto de Taipéi, desde el centro comercial subterráneo hasta la superficie. Insonorización: La insonorización del hotel no era muy buena desde el principio. Podía oír a la familia de la habitación de al lado hablando, a la madre y al niño discutiendo. Lo entiendo, pero eran la 1:30 de la madrugada y seguían haciendo ruido... era extremadamente molesto. Servicio: No esperaba un servicio de alta calidad de este tipo de hoteles, pero como la habitación de al lado era tan ruidosa, llamé a recepción y les pedí que lo solucionaran. Efectivamente, al cabo de un rato, el ruido disminuyó considerablemente y por fin pude dormir. Comodidades: La presión del agua era buena, el agua caliente y el aire acondicionado funcionaban bien. Creo que, al alojarse en un hotel como este, todos deberían ser comprensivos, mantener el nivel de ruido bajo y respetarse mutuamente para disfrutar de una estancia agradable.

El personal del hotel es un chico guapo que es bastante amigable. Las instalaciones son muy antiguas. Las luces de la habitación son tenues y no lo suficientemente brillantes. El hotel está muy cerca del Mercado Nocturno del Aeropuerto Sur. Se tarda siete u ocho minutos en llegar caminando. No hay nada que hacer cerca excepto el mercado nocturno.

Personal profesional, bueno, pero por favor, traiga su cepillo de dientes y pasta de dientes personales para todo el viaje a Taiwán, ya que se ha reducido el uso de productos desechables, lo cual es algo bueno. La higiene debería ser aceptable, pero tampoco se podía apreciar bien debido a la oscuridad. La decoración era terrible; aparte de las sábanas y el techo blancos, todo lo demás era de paneles negros, y al no tener ventanas y con la mala iluminación, cada noche al volver a la habitación me sentía completamente sin energía ni motivación. Sin embargo, parece que la decoración es antigua, espero que el formaldehído ya se haya disipado. No sé si en todos los hoteles de Taiwán la lavandería es de pago, pero en este tanto la lavadora como la secadora se pagaban por separado, aunque no recuerdo el precio exacto. Ventajas: Buena ubicación, justo enfrente de la estación de tren de Taipéi.

The Room: The room itself was a highlight. It was spacious and comfortable, providing a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring. The best feature was the large window that faced the train station, with a stunning backdrop of the mountains. It was incredibly scenic and made the room feel bright and open. While the room was comfortable, I did notice that the overall design and some of the furniture felt a bit dated. It's clean and functional, but don't expect a super modern aesthetic. Amenities & Service: This is where the experience was a bit uneven. The gym was quite disappointing. It only had a stationary bicycle and a treadmill. There were no weights, no multi-gym, nothing for anyone hoping for even a basic strength workout. It felt more like an afterthought than a proper facility. On the other hand, the service had some truly thoughtful highlights. When we asked for ice, the hotel staff kindly delivered some to our room, which was a nice touch. The Special Touch: The most memorable part of the stay was a small, heartwarming gesture. The hotel provided us with complimentary postcards. The unique part? They offered to mail them for us, but not right away. They will send them exactly one year later. It's a lovely idea—a little time capsule from your trip that arrives as a surprise in the future. Overall: Hotelday Hualien offers spacious, comfortable rooms with beautiful mountain views, and its proximity to the train station is a plus for travelers. The thoughtful service, like the ice delivery and the ”postcard to your future self” program, adds a warm, personal touch. However, the distance from the city center and the very basic gym are drawbacks. It's a solid choice for a comfortable night's sleep near the station, especially if you appreciate sentimental gestures, but be prepared for the travel time to the main attractions.
