The Shenhua is a solid, comfortable hotel in a quiet neighborhood. The breakfast bar has options to please everyone.

Good value for money, friendly, helpful night staff, no language problem, easy and trouble free foreign friendly. The feedback is based on my room and my overall experience. The room was very clean, newish super clear, bright lights bathroom, with very nice shower. The beds are a bit hard but nothing major, very quite, small but manageable parking space, despite my car being a big. It was one night experience, short but pleasant with lots of food option but the front doors of the hotel. Which very convenient. Definitely recommend unfortunately, I forgot to take some pictures. ThumbsUp 👍

Usuario invitadoMy friend and I stayed at the campsite for two nights and had a wonderful time. We come from the United Kingdom and do not speak Chinese so there was a language barrier. However, despite this the staff were very helpful and patient, and made sure we had everything we needed at all times. The location itself is very nice. The sand dunes are very impressive and fun to climb on. The food was lovely, especially the scrambled egg with tomatoes and cucumber salad. The campsite provides many fun activities. We particularly enjoyed the kareoke and the dice games we played with We Bon and the others. They also had other games for children which we enjoyed even though they are not designed for our age group😹. Altogether we would highly recommend staying at this place. Our only slight complaint would be concerning an external activity we did which was the go carting. We paid 80 yuan for one lap in the car which felt like a scam😹. So we would not recommend that activity. Another honourable mention would go to the taxi driver who was very lovely and showed around many activities with a lot of patience. Lastly we hope to have a rematch arm wrestle when we come back, and also that the younger guy finds love soon😂🫰🥰

This is a good modern hotel that provides comfortable accommodations. The breakfast bar is great, and the hotel location provides easy access (by Didi or taxi) to the train and bus stations, as well as Guyuan's outstanding museum.
Only problems were having to overcome receiving two room key cards (one of which stopped working after a day), problem with the standard wifi authorization (room number and name). The night latch was broken/ non-functional. That wasn't a big problem, but reveals poor attention to facility maintenance/repair.
An oddity was that each elevator ride was punctuated by a loud noise that sounded like a dog's bark. I'm not sure what that noise reveals about the elevator mechanism.
All options taken into account, I'd definitely consider staying in this hotel on any future visit to Guyuan.

It's a easy pickup location for didi and not far from many of the attractions that are in the outside of the city (about 35-40 min drive).
