Look Beyond Hotel is in a beautiful location that makes exploring the area an absolute breeze. What really stands out is the convenience of having affordable public parking lots nearby, which takes the stress out of finding a spot. (Ask me where?) Plus, being within walking distance to so many attractions is a huge bonus. It’s the perfect place for a hassle-free and enjoyable stay!

Very clean, large rooms. Service was prompt and great. Around 10min taxi to Qilou old street, 2-3km away. Lots of supper spots and convenience stores (24hours) below the hotel too.

This is really a very nice hotel, unexpected in a relatively small town. The room looks new and is very comfortable. I especially liked the cosy seating area near the window. Staff was exceptionally friendly as well. The immediate surroundings of the hotel are not very interesting, but the location is very convenient nonetheless: walking distance (20-30 minutes) to Qilou Old Street, only 2 bus stops away from the train station and also close to local buses to tourist areas such as Tonggu Ridge (though I've read not all sites there are open to foreigners, I mainly wanted to see Gusong fishing village and that's no problem) and Gaolong Bay. The only area of improvement is that this hotel has a tendency to keep calling customers before their stay (3 times I got an SMS in Chinese saying something like ”Meilin Hotel is going to call you, please pick up”, followed by a call from an unknown number). I can communicate in simple Chinese but am not great at doing phone calls in Chinese and in any case I hate this kind of insistent phone calls. I didn't pick up but after the second call checked with Trip.com what was wrong, expecting some major problem. It turned out the hotel just wanted to confirm a small change I had made to my booking, which had already been confirmed in the app anyway... While this attitude is perhaps meant as service, I perceived it as annoying and superfluous and I would strongly suggest the hotel stops harassing customers with phone calls unless there's a real emergency. Having said this, the staff on site in the hotel was exceptionally friendly and polite; this is one of the few hotels in China where staff members actually greeted me when I walked past reception, which was much appreciated! I definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again if I ever visited Wenchang again.

Great location with very helpful staff especially the reception desk who is very keen to help and provide info on places to eat, transportation etc. The double bedded room has curtains between the see through glass toilet and bathroom and bed area which provide some privacy compared to the Family room. Beds are very comfy and clean. One of the double bedded room had smoke smell and when we brough it to the reception desk, they were very prompt and helpful in removing the odour. Highly recommended place to stay for people who don't mind climbing stairs to their rooms.

Переживали из-за шума, но он чуть дальше, Полину Гагарину слышно, конечно, но не сильно, и до 23.00. Хочу отметить прекрасную девушку на ресепшене - ЛюПинь (надеюсь правильно написала имя). Мы замучили её вопросами, но она всегда была очень мила, раньше заселила и с многим помогала. Кофе и холодильник есть на ресепшене.

For the price, it's pretty decent.. the downsides are the poor sound-proofing, sounds from the road and corridor are loud. The mattress from the bed is also rather old as you could feel the spring. Staff seemed impatient when I asked about the hotel Wifi. I enjoyed browsing the channels on the hotel TV and the shampoo and body soap, so that was nice.

酒店停車場較大，從大路一拐進就是，是三家酒店拼用的，第一眼看到的就是萬國酒店，不用誤會，開進去就是。酒店的電梯也是有相互用的現象，衹是選擇正確的樓層即可。衹是亞朵、萬國的標識更明確。酒店大堂設在15樓，服務態度友好，特別是小坤，在處理問題上專業、耐心、友好，讓人感覺誠懇温馨。房間寬敞明亮，整潔舒適。整面牆的落地玻璃窗，讓人心情瞬間放鬆。房間裏的電器開關，按鍵控制系統明確，使用起來很方便。Wi-Fi也很好。衞生間乾濕分離，乾淨清爽，提供的洗漱用品不錯。洗臉盆與鏡子的距離很合理，使用起來舒適。衹是水龍頭開關有些不夠絲滑。早餐在15樓，是自助餐形式的，特別豐富，照片上的衹是一小部分，各種甜點品種繁多，衹是未取。另外提一下，前台退房時可以主動詢問客人是否開車，以防駕車出門時造成不必要的麻煩。酒店總體非常好，設施新，房間乾淨，特別是所遇到的服務人員都很熱情友好。有機會還會選擇住。

I love this hotel so muchhhh~ due to their exterior mordern design and despite having my parents who are too old to climb stairs, they gave us level 2 instead of level 4. So kind of the 帅哥哥, 哈哈~ cause they really don't have an elevator here. More like exercising with stairs, the hotel room was very spacious and they have the toiletries you need. same as my previous hotel, there were no fridge but is okay. There's also a shared laundry area, to dry, iron and more. There's hotel umbrella to use too! Checking out was cool, you get to self checkout! Area around the hotel is convenient, near to Haikou Train station! Plus buffet eatery in a few blocks. If you want to go for more eatery or shopping, you will need to call for a cab, or you may ask the staff to help call for a cab :) The staffs are very nice and one of the staff, wenwen she gave me some great locations to explore in Haikou. Thank you so much! Really appreciated! Plus they also provide Breakfast services, which includes with 1 set of 2 bread, 1 milk/soymilk, fruits. You can even ask them to send it to your room! And OMG they even have the ice cream MACHINE 😭😍 you get to do it yourself! I nailed it on my first try..😅 tasty vanilla ice cream! Area around hotel is cleanliness 🥰 they also have vending machine to get your coffee day started~ There's also a cafe that's opening soon, I really would like to try their coffee someday once is fully opened! Overall is a great vibe, chill place, good place for couples and friends/kids to hang out. Except it'll be abit hard for the elderly cause it's just stairs. Their Toilet is clean and spacious~ shower cubicle too~ their mirror is soo cool they have this touch on n off button on the mirror for the mirror light. And if you need help or services, feel free to add their wechat using the QR code while you're in your room and they'll help with whatever you need. It's soo high tech in this hotel. Would totally go for it again! haha

酒店在文昌城裡附近，離開文南老街也不遠，坐落在馬路邊，停車位就在酒店門口，有保安會幫助安排停車位，停車位屬於比較緊張的那種，但附近也能找到停車的地方，酒店裝修比較新，有七個樓層，但衹有一部電梯，遇到早上客流集中的話需要等會兒，酒店價格也不貴親民，還有早餐，雖然品種不多，但能滿足一般要求，房間空調衹有冷風，屬於單冷空調，房間也不大，衞生間乾濕分離，如果開旅遊住一天還是不錯的選擇…
