This hotel gives the guest a warm and personal touch. The best part of the hotel is that the owners are so friendly, treating the guests like family. On the first night I asked for a hot water bottle (热水袋) because I prefer to sleep with that rather than use the AC heating, and the ”mom” of the hotel went out of her way to find me one. On the last day when I was leaving early in the morning before the official breakfast time, she also made sure to give me a prepared breakfast so that I wouldn't be hungry on my day's journey. By the way, the normal breakfast of noodles/mixian is very tasty and nourishing with high quality ingredients. Anyways, the family that runs this hotel really want to make sure you have a comfortable stay, so they are always there to greet you and answer any questions and help you with whatever you need. Even when I asked for clues about where to find batik (蜡染) artists, they found me the phone number of batik artist in a nearby village. They are so eager to help guests squeeze the most out of all of Guizhou's wonders! In my case, as a foreigner and someone who doesn't speak Chinese too well, I found them very patient and helpful. The rooms of the hotel are really elegant... simple, aesthetically pleasing design. The amenities are all comfortable: the bed mattress was a perfect balance of firm and soft, the shower had high pressure and hot water, etc. The wifi was strong and stable. I should point out that some of the hotel rooms only have a squat toilet, so if you need a seated toilet you should probably contact the hotel in advance to make sure that they have such a room for you before booking. I should also point out the special location of this hotel. If you, like me, do not have a car and rely on didi or public transportation, then you should know that this hotel is quite a way into the countryside. In fact, on the road to the hotel, the taxi driver asked me, ”Why would you stay in such a remote hotel when there are good hotels in downtown Anshun?” Well, one of the reasons is because I do prefer personal hotels rather than corporate hotels. But also because my primary goal for my stay in Anshun was to see the old garrison villages (屯堡) in the area, not to see other sites like the famous waterfalls. If your goal is to see the old villages, then I think this is the perfect hotel for you. For one reason, one of the original garrison villages is just 5 minutes walk from the hotel. It's little-visited by tourists and so you'll have the whole place to yourself and get really great photographs. That village (called BenZhai [本寨]) is of great historical importance and is very photogenic, and it's so neat to live so close to it. There's another even bigger and more commercialized (and absolutely beautiful) garrison village, also within walking distance (15-20 minutes by walking), called YunShanTun (云山屯). You're also not too far from the most famous villages, namely JiuZhou and Tianlong. Those are at least an hour by walking, so you'll want to get a car. I found it to be nearly impossible to get a Didi driver to accept such rides in this countryside area, but the good news is that the hotel manager found a friendly guy from the village to drive me to those villages and also later to the airport, for the same prices that Didi predicted it would charge. If you do have your own car, then I don't think you have to worry about anything, as this villages in near the highway and thus you can readily access any of the sites of interest in Anshun from this hotel. Overall, if you are looking for a hotel with warm and human experiences that is near to the places of great historical interest, this is the right hotel for you!

La experiencia de esta estadía es realmente muy buena! Desde la estadía hasta la salida de la tienda, el servicio del hotel me ha sentido muy satisfecho. Highly recommend! - Accessible, easy to locate. Across from Guiyang North Railway station.The hotel signage can be seen from the entrance of the railway station. 10- minute walk from the train station. - The hotel is strategically located near the train station, restaurants, shops and transportation. - Clean and fresh bedding, towels, carpets - Clean, fresh, spacious room, toilet and bath with smart amenities - Lavender-based toiletries, good- smelling not overpowering - Room with a view, overlooking the restaurants below and the train station in a distance - hearty and delicious breakfast. Steaming freshly cooked- noodles with different toppings, fried rice, steamed rice, rice porridge, various dishes, fruit juices, hot beverages, fruits, desserts, on-the-go breakfast snacks, etc. The manager personally managed the breakfast spread, making sure the food and drinks were replenished and invited guests to try the breakfast noodle. - English speaking manager - warm and accommodating staff, on duty no24/7 My train was delayed due to weather conditions. Instead of arriving at 22:11, I arrived at Guiyang North Railway station at almost 23:00, the manager promptly replied to my messages to see to it that I correctly followed the directions to the hotel since I don't speak Chinese and it was already late at night. He assured me that the staff was expecting me and the room had been prepared and reserved for me. They upgraded me to a bigger room + complimentary breakfast! ❤️ - The staff and the manager helped me book a taxi to the airport. It was raining when I left for the airport and they provided a service umbrella and instructed the driver to drop me at T2 on my behalf since I am a foreigner and I don't speak Chinese! Fantastic stay! Would love to stay again when I return to Guiyang! Thank you, Lavande Hotel Guiyang North Railway Station! 💐💐💐

🏨 Situated 30 mins from the airport this is a little gem located right in the heart of Huaxi Shilihe Beach National Urban Wetland Park. 马娟 the manager was so nice and went out of her way to make me feel welcome. I was upgraded to a suite which was spacious, had a lovely bath and the bed and sheets were luxurious. Unfortunately, the air conditioner wasn’t working so it was very hot in my room but the manager found me a fan right away which was perfect and I had a nice nights sleep. The hotel lobby and stairway could be a little more clean but the views were nice from the common balcony area. 🤩 马娟 showed me where I could rent a bike to explore the wetland park and made delicious recommendations on where I could get the local noodles that were soooo tasty I went back twice! 🥘 The restaurants nearby serve a lot of BBQ and many other places have KTV but it didn’t go on throughout the night. There is a little construction across the valley during the day as it seems someone is building a big resort but inside the room it was very quiet. It’s a 3 mins walk from the river and if you walk about 5 mins away from the little town it’s quiet and peaceful by the river. ❤️ I would recommend staying here if you want to explore a gorgeous wetland park in the city or if you want a little taste of nature before flying from Guiyang. It’s also very close to the Huaxi park (about 20mins walk) and Tianhetan park is around a 25-40 mins taxi depending on traffic and time and costs about 40-50rmb.

I love the view of the hotel, although some of the furniture's are a little bit torn in the living room but the ones in the room are clean and tidy ! The owner has a really cute corgi, and he's very friendly in guiding us despite calling him multiple times a day to ask him for direction , bus transfer, and luggage transfer. I would recommend not to bring too heavy items like I did because the route to the hotel is a bit far and difficult until the bus station. It's a really chill hotel that's near another viewing point for the paddy field . The design is good too! Thanks to the kitchen , I managed to cook my own supper, and there's a convenience store right outside the hotel too. (Good-looking owner if you're wondering) You can even order luggage pick up service when you're leaving (at a price). There's also some food delivery available thru MeiTuan. That's all for my stay! I'll miss the cute corgi 🤍

El hotel en su conjunto necesita un ascensor facial y una limpieza profunda. Nos han mostrado varias habitaciones; todo el olor a cigarrillos como ninguno es libre de fumar (las cenizas en todas las habitaciones). Más puntos: 1. Vine muchas veces a este hotel, su ubicación cerca de la puerta y al lado del parque es muy tranquila. Sin ruido, sin coche. El personal no habla inglés pero es realmente servicial y amable. El hotel puede proporcionar entradas para las atracciones a un precio más bajo, solo pregúnteles. También te dirán los mejores lugares para visitar en el pueblo. El desayuno consiste sólo en fideos locales, pero los encontré deliciosos. Por supuesto, si tienes coche, tendrás que aparcar en la puerta del pueblo y coger un autobús lanzadera. Esto es obligatorio. No hay coches de turistas en el pueblo. Hay cientos de restaurantes en el pueblo, así que no hay problema.

Realmente cómodo estadía, buena cama y habitación es muy limpia con toques pensables (sofá, ducha agradable, tocador inteligente/curtillo, secador de pelo fuerte, etc... Observaron que nuestra reserva tiene un niño y las instalaciones para niños ya están preparadas sin El hotel se siente bien con decoraciones deliciosas. El personal estaba paciente al organizar la recolección de la estación de tren de alta velocidad, aunque no teníamos número local para contactar con el conductor. No hay ascensor, por lo que para los ancianos que tienen dificultades con las escaleras, ten en cuenta. La señora jefa era muy amable y mantuvo una buena actitud cuando pedimos que cancelase la estancia de una noche. Aunque el tiempo era muy corto cuando llegamos a las 6:00, la jefa nos ayudó a asegurar billetes para visitar los billetes de pueblo cultural Yaoshan y disfrutar del largo table (justo bien) + Dance&Bonfire show, a unos 8 minutos de distancia. Si Xiaoqikong vuelve a abrirse, me encantaría volver a este minsu.

Stayed for 5 nights here. The hotel lobby is nice and the attendants were friendly. However, there is a bit of cigarette smell inside the lobby as some guests are smoking. Location is good, its around 10minute walk to the nearest metro. There are bus stops within 10 minute walk too. There is a food hall just beside the hotel which is very convenient, and affordable too. The hotel is in a quiet area, and often not much road traffic. We also had hotel breakfast here. They had lots of choices, mostly home cooked style food.. fried rice, eggs, vegetables, coffee machine, soy milk, noodles etc. They change some of their menu everyday. The lady making the noodles was also very nice and friendly. For the room, we liked it. Clean and spacious. Bed was cozy. However the airconditioner was not that cold, seems it only reached around 24c.. which was just ok. Good thing is that the weather became colder on our 3rd night, so we just opened our windows. Shower pressure is also good. They provided us free water everyday, and tea..but no coffee. Service was excellent and quick! It was also good that we can contact the service crew via wechat. Sevice crew were very friendly. Overall good value for money and would recommend!
