I can’t say enough good things about my stay at this incredible homestay on Dongshan Island—it’s hands down one of the best accommodation experiences I’ve ever had, and I’m already counting down the days until I can come back. From the breathtaking sea views to the thoughtful, attentive service, every single detail made my trip unforgettable, and I’m so glad I chose this homestay for my island getaway. First and foremost, the seaview here is absolutely stunning, beyond anything I could have imagined. The homestay boasts an unbeatable location with unobstructed views of the endless blue sea, and I spent every spare moment just admiring the ocean, both morning and night. Waking up early to watch the soft golden sunrise glisten over the water, with gentle waves lapping against the shore, was the most peaceful way to start each day. As the sun set, the sky painted itself in warm hues of orange and pink, reflecting beautifully on the sea, creating a romantic and serene scene that took my breath away. Even at night, the quiet glow of the moon on the water and the soft sound of waves made the view just as magical. I took countless beautiful photos during my stay, and every snapshot perfectly captures the mesmerizing beauty of this place—no filter could ever do the real scenery justice. What surprised me most is that the homestay is even more beautiful in person than the online photos. When I booked the room online, the pictures looked lovely, but I didn’t expect the actual space to exceed my expectations by such a large margin. The interior is cozy, clean, and tastefully decorated, with large windows that frame the sea like a living painting. Every corner of the homestay is well-maintained, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The layout is designed to maximize the seaview, so no matter where you are—whether it’s the bedroom, the living area, or the small terrace—you can always feast your eyes on the gorgeous ocean scenery. It’s clear that the host put a lot of love and care into creating this wonderful space. The service here is incredibly thoughtful and attentive, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The host and all the staff are friendly, warm, and always ready to help with any needs or questions I had. They were quick to respond to messages, offered useful tips for exploring Dongshan Island, and went out of their way to make sure I had a comfortable and pleasant stay. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and their genuine hospitality made me feel valued and cared for throughout my trip. 設施方面：完全滿足小朋友要求，要海洋球、滑梯、浴缸、祕密基地，小朋友玩得很開心。 服務方面：酒店也是有求必應，有什麼要求都是第一時間解決。 衞生方面也不錯，沒有發現不乾淨的地方。 地理位置：酒店旁邊有小吃街，吃東西比較方便。離海邊步行5分鐘，這邊的黃厝沙灘是在廈門相對乾淨的沙灘了，其他沙灘不忍直視。酒店出來這個沙灘位置剛好是日出打卡點，可惜的是這兩天天氣不好，沒有看到日出。這裏沙灘晚上也有喝酒唱歌的商家出來，比較熱鬧。 總的來説體驗感很不錯，衹是外面街道比較老舊，不過這不是酒店的錯。酒店還是很nice的！ 提個小小的建議，要有一個比較通風曬得到太陽的晾曬衣服的地方。

整體環境很喜歡，設計簡約又有質感。地理位置得天獨厚，緊鄰加州商業廣場，逛街用餐都十分方便。房間整潔明亮，智能設備使用順手，住得舒心。工作人員態度友善，辦理入住效率高，各類便民設施一應俱全，價位也很親民，下次來還會選擇這裏。

El día del check-in descubrí que no había hervidor de agua caliente en la habitación, llamé y ella respondió y dijo que me lo entregarían en un rato. Pero no hubo respuesta durante casi una hora. Así que llamé de nuevo y le pregunté por qué no lo habían entregado todavía. De hecho, me volvió a pedir el número de la habitación. Desventaja 2: Este tipo de habitación con terraza en realidad tiene una capa de vidrio en el exterior, que no está ventilada, no hay mesas ni sillas en las fotos de la tienda ... Desventaja 3: Mal aislamiento acústico, se puede escuchar llorar a los niños de al lado y también se puede escuchar el canto del hermano mayor en el KTV cercano ...

Do not recommend this hotel. Booked ji xin room type and expected room not worse than photos and size and furniture as advertised in trip.com It's the first time I encounter staff kept telling me my room is a ”special offer” room at check in process when I didn't ask anything about the room. She was very friendly and even offered to usher us to our room. When we exit lift at level 9, she led us to a hidden stairs behind the lift. So no wonder she has to led us because the ”special offer” room was hidden. The wall and corridor looked different from the normal rows of rooms from lift level. When we went in the room, we realised it's very small but didn't immediately check trip.com photos and booking details. We put our bags and left quickly for dinner. When we returned I don't think the room matched what I booked here so I went to the counter and inform the same staff. At this moment, I understand why she kept using the words ”special offer room” when I checked in. Advertised pictures of the room type showed several different designs but all have space for table and chair. The room given to me only has leg space around the double bed and a low cabinet (height of stool) near the door. Shower and toilet are in the same space which means toilet will be wet when u shower. This room is 902. At the counter, the staff said I should have rejected the room at first glance and she doesn't have other rooms which looked more like the advertised rooms because I rejected too late. Her colleague besides her said the hotel has many different rooms. She said my room is ”special offer room” and they don't bother to look at my phone to see trip.com photos and listed space and furniture provided. I made the colleague look at trip.com room photos and tell me the type of room they belong to. To my horror, the staff sad those are Yi yue rooms and not yi xin. So I asked them if they are telling me that the hotel used yi yue room photos as advertisements to sell yi xin rooms. Then she became quiet and the girl suddenly has other room for me to change. Although the new room (also level 9) still didn't have the table and chair as per listed in trip.com booking details and photos but at least it is far more decent. Please be careful if you have already booked this hotel!

I enjoyed my stay overall. While the hotel isn’t perfect, it offers great value if you’re looking for a relaxed beach holiday away from the busy tourist areas. Location The hotel is in a peaceful area close to Huangcuo Beach and Xitouxia, with plenty of small local seafood restaurants and traditional Chinese eateries nearby. If you’re not into seafood, there are still a few other dining options within walking distance. It’s about a 30-minute walk to popular cafés like Oncebook Coffee and Snow Peak Café. Further along the beach you’ll also find beach bars such as Breeze Bar and Amoy Beach Bar, where you can enjoy drinks overlooking the ocean. Most of Xiamen’s major attractions, including Shapowei, Zhongshan Road, Gulangyu Ferry Terminal, and MIXC, are around a 20–30 minute taxi ride away, making them easy to reach. Facilities The highlight of the hotel is definitely the swimming pool. It’s clean, relaxing, and has two sun loungers, making it a nice place to unwind after a day of exploring. The hotel doesn’t offer breakfast or have its own restaurant, but there are several places nearby where you can eat. Room The rooms are spacious and nicely designed, with floor-to-ceiling windows that provide beautiful ocean views. The bed is exceptionally comfortable, with soft memory foam pillows, and the air conditioning works very well—something you’ll definitely appreciate during Xiamen’s summer. The bathroom is modern, with a large rainfall shower that has excellent water pressure. There are a few downsides, however. The room could be cleaner, and the hotel provides disposable towels instead of regular bath towels, which wasn’t my favourite. There’s also no minibar or mini fridge, which would have been a welcome addition. Service The reception staff deserve special mention. The gentleman who checked me in was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. His hospitality left a very positive impression. Final thoughts If you’re looking for a quiet beachside stay with comfortable rooms, beautiful ocean views, and don’t mind taking a taxi to Xiamen’s main attractions, this hotel is a solid choice. Just don’t expect luxury facilities or a full-service resort experience.

¡Una estancia magnífica! Me encantó. El personal ha sido muy atento y se comunica activamente por WeChat. Ofrecen muchas comodidades que te hacen sentir como en casa. Nos preguntaron si íbamos a Impressions Dahongpao y nos sugirieron que usáramos las chaquetas del hotel, ya que la temperatura bajó repentinamente y la función es al aire libre. Incluso nos dieron bolsas térmicas. En la habitación, también se notaba su atención: lavabo con bordes elevados para que no se escape el agua, barras de apoyo en el inodoro y la ducha para personas mayores, controles de luz fácilmente accesibles junto a la cama con diferentes ambientes; incluso tienen cortaúñas. Hay varios salones de té para disfrutar del té (tienen su propia fábrica de té).

Recepcionistas amables, atentos y serviciales. Excelente ubicación, cerca de la estación de autobuses, las terminales de ferry y la calle Zhongshan. Las habitaciones con vista al mar tienen vistas espléndidas. ¡No se las pierdan! Después de ver lo hermosas que son (difíciles de capturar en fotos), me arrepentí de no haber reservado una habitación con vista al mar completa. 😅 Los recepcionistas fueron increíblemente amables y serviciales, ¡un gran aplauso! El hotel tiene una ubicación fantástica, cerca de la estación de autobuses, las terminales de ferry y la calle Zhongshan. Las habitaciones con vista al mar ofrecen vistas impresionantes, ¡no se las pierdan! Después de ver las habitaciones en persona (las fotos apenas pueden capturar su belleza), me arrepentí de inmediato de no haber reservado una habitación con vista al mar completa. 😅

Ubicación y transporte: está cerca de la calle peatonal y es fácil de encontrar. Puedes tomar un taxi a las atracciones de los alrededores en 20 minutos. Ambiente y servicio: siempre me gusta alojarme en los hoteles de Huazhu. No hace falta decir que la recepción siempre responde a todas las solicitudes. Instalaciones: Sólo hay un ascensor en el hotel, que es relativamente lento, pero las escaleras también son muy cómodas.
