The hotel is very conveniently located in downtown Edmonton, within walking distance to attractions and public transport. Hotel staff were friendly and hospitable. I do, however, think the hotel is in need of a renovation to modernise it as the interiors and fixtures were outdated. The hotel could also help with the room doors as their opening and closing can be loud and disruptive if trying to sleep. For a next trip to Edmonton, I would stay again.

A good hotel considering the price and location. For a 3 star property, it meets the stated standard. Comfortable beds. Spacious lobby. Everything works.

I recently stayed at the Canmore Inn & Suites on Bow Valley Trail. While the property itself has potential and offers a convenient base for exploring the Rockies, my experience was significantly dampened by a factor I wasn't prepared for: a major local hockey tournament. The ”Tournament” Factor I was unaware upon booking that my stay coincided with a Canmore hockey tournament for U11 and U13 divisions. To say these teams ”took over the hotel” would be an understatement. The volume of children was overwhelming. This translated to: The Pool Area: Practically unusable for other guests; it was packed to capacity with kids from morning until night. Common Areas: Hallways and the lobby were very loud and, at times, felt uncontrollable. Lack of Supervision: There was a noticeable lack of adult/parental supervision in the public spaces, leading to a chaotic atmosphere that isn't ideal if you're looking for a relaxing mountain getaway. Staff and Noise Management To the hotel’s credit, the noise did mostly settle down by 10:30 PM. I spoke with the front desk, and they mentioned we could issue formal noise complaints if needed. However, it felt like a losing battle given the sheer volume of groups. The staff are clearly used to this, as these local tournaments bring in consistent bookings for the hotel. While the team was polite, they seemed stretched thin by the high occupancy and the energy of the young athletes. The Room and Amenities Pros: The location is excellent—close to downtown and Highway 1. The rooms are generally spacious, and the mountain views from the upper floors are a highlight. Cons: The property is showing its age. Some fixtures felt dated, and the cleanliness in the high-traffic common areas suffered due to the heavy foot traffic during the tournament. Final Verdict The simpler solution here is a matter of timing. If you aren't in town to participate in or spectate a tournament, check the local sports calendar before booking. If a U11/U13 tournament is on, I would recommend staying elsewhere. If you are here for the hockey, this is clearly the ”hub,” but for the average traveler, the lack of peace and quiet makes it hard to justify the price point during these peak weekends.

This is my second visit this time it was perfect they renovated it since i walked in smells sooo clean and fresh the housekeeping manger sooo helpful and kind The buffet for dinner amazing Indian cuisine over all very nice experience especially at the pool

El hotel está en el centro de la ciudad, donde se encuentra el hotel, y el hotel está en el centro de la ciudad. Así que cuando se apareció 2 horas después tuve que pagar otra 100 depósitos de daños. Se parecía bastante interesante. Pagué por ello a través de travel.com, por qué no tomaron el depósito de daños justo cuando llegó ahí, ya que había reservado las habitaciones para mi familia. The hotel feels a bit dated, but the room was spacious, neat, and tidy. The towels weren't sparkling white but were acceptable. My favorite part was the bathroom amenities—the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion were amazing! The only downside was the pool hours (9 AM - 9 PM); we got back past 10 PM and couldn't use it. It would be perfect if they could extend the pool hours.

Cuando me rechacé la gestión por correo electrónico, me informó de que la zona del bar fue trasladada al restaurante, dije que esto no es aceptable y el cierre del bar debería haber sido anunciado en la reserva ... se dijo anteriormente, y una disculpa y posteriormente ignorado después ! This is going to be the only place we stay in Sylvan Lake. The location and included parking is what will keep us coming. We started with a few questions prior to our stay. Emily was helpful during those calls - confirming our stay, guests, questions about parking/meals/pool etc. Check in was great. We arrived early, Emily told us we can store our things in the locked conference room, and park until check in. We explored town while they were preparing our room (which was done on time.) Kids loved the pool. & hot tub. You need to ask the front desk for towels, on your way to the pool. They do not have towels available at the pool. The bathroom for the pool is small - recommend changing in your room prior to heading to the pool. Breakfast was included - and the poorest experience of our stay. At check in, you are given paper vouchers to redeem at breakfast (7-10 am). There are pastries, yogurt, apples, eggs, hash browns, ham/sausage, and homemade waffles. They need a more efficient process to keep up with breakfast traffic. Waffle batter would run out, line to waffles were blocking the access to the food/drinks. House keeping - they cleaned our bathrooms daily, but did not refresh bedding. We asked the 2nd day at the front desk, and bedding was not done by the time we returned from the lake that evening. Check out - our check out was fine, however we were told we cannot use the pool after checkout at 11 am. I had to return later that afternoon to pick up an item I forgot in the room (which gratefully they emailed me about) and Emily was there, which was a positive note to our exit. My daughter even bought her a package of cookies from the Friday market across the road as a thank you for her service during our stay.
