Make sure you reserve a full day to visit the place. Also, check the weather before going on tour of you want to see the mountain and the scenery clearly.

Some of the best scenery in the world, a must see! Weather can vary depending on time of year but you can really make the most of it by adjusting your route based on the weather. Light fog is still fine and provides unique upper level views. When thick fog walking the whip stream and lower level areas is a must. The views of the shear rocks disappearing into the mist when looking upwards is almost mystical! Recommend using up at least three of the 4 days in the pass. Transport is great with busses and cable cars (if you want to skip hard hiking). If trying to escape the crowds all the hardest routes scaling up and down the mountains have next to no one on them and were a highlight for us!

Orange Island is a bit of a mixed experience, and I'm honestly not entirely sure whether I'd consider it a must-visit in Changsha.It's a large, green, and pleasant park, with beautiful riverside views and plenty of space for walking. If you enjoy places with historical significance or simply want to experience a different side of the city, it's definitely worth considering.Most visitors seem to take the sightseeing train to the southern end of the island, where the famous Mao Zedong statue is located. That's also where you'll find plenty of people taking photos, so don't expect a particularly quiet experience.The main downside is that visiting the island takes quite a bit of time, especially if you want to explore it properly. And while it's certainly a nice place, I'm not sure the experience justifies spending several hours here if you have a limited amount of time in Changsha and other places you'd like to see.On the other hand, if you're simply looking for a relaxing walk through a green park, with opportunities to stop by the river and enjoy the scenery, it's a lovely option.Overall, I'd say it's worth visiting if you have some extra time or are particularly interested in Chinese history. Otherwise, I wouldn't necessarily put it at the very top of your Changsha itinerary.

It’s definitely worth a visit. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The climb is strenuous, but the view is absolutely magnificent. You should check the weather Prior to the visit. Strongly recommend to buy the cable car and bus rides.

Nice ambient, a bit touristy but less than furong town. Probably one overnight is enough to stay here.

I would recommend booking a tour guide so that you would be able to appreciate the artifacts through the story line. The museum and all shops inside close at 5pm sharp so book the morning slot if possible so you don’t feel rushed. I book for 3pm but when I was there, was told that booking starts 3.30pm. When museum close, you can take a walk at the open garden 湖南烈士公园， next to it.

Nice city but overall I think the ticket price is expensive, if it was cheaper people spend more in the shops and restaurants

Doğanın gücünü ve ihtişamını hissetmek için mutlaka görülmesi gereken muazzam bir jeolojik harika!
