My wife and I try to do a food tour the first day we arrive in a place we have never been or like today, a place we haven’t been in a while. It’s always a great learning experience you learn local history , places of interest and best of all great restaurants to visit during the stay. This was by far the best food tour we have ever experienced. Our guide Gary, made all the difference. His knowledge was incredible and his stories were extremely entertaining. Our tour consisted of 4 couples. We began with a wine tasting and some charcuterie. The aged Gouda and the Brie were the best I have ever tasted. The Brie was like butter, amazing. We stopped by a sweets shop for a praline, next stop Mojo BBQ for an amazing lunch including brisket, turkey, chicken wings, Mac & cheese and corn. And we finished at Meehan’s Irish pub with Key Lime Pie and a cocktail. Over all an amazing experience. Thank you Gary.
