水之宫殿也是一座印度古老王朝的一个遗址，宫殿建筑规模还是蛮大的，可以看到很多的印度特色的形象雕塑，建筑本身也是蛮有意思的，是一个了解印度建筑文化的不可多得去处。

古城区外围的琥珀宫，只爬城墙是免费的，典型欧洲风格的宫殿，“长城”与咱们唯一不同的是城垛是清真式尖拱型的。爬上山可眺望一望无际的古城全景，可惜均笼罩在一片严重的灰霾中。这里游客稀少、异常宁静。古城中心区的风宫与古皇宫建筑群是最精华部分。

来印度怎么能不感受一下印度教aarti的氛围？【位置】城市宫殿旁一条小路进，先经过右手边当地人的市场，卖蔬菜水果，猴子出没，注意安全。往前就是卖祭祀用品了，金盏花之类的。【时间】一天从清晨到晚上，七次，但时间随季节不同。每次aarti约20分钟。【背景】这里供奉的是小黑天，就是奎师那，毗湿奴第八化身。因为斋普尔城的缔造者Sawai Jai Singh信奉奎师那。据说这尊黑色的吹笛少年像是与奎师那本人最像的一尊。【流程】先把鞋存了，可穿袜子。在水池净手净脚。进去以后，静候时间到，帘子拉开，露出奎师那的塑像（不到点，帘子是合上的，看不到神像的）。信徒们高呼、鼓掌，跟随祭司一起唱颂。最后可以绕大殿顺时针转一圈，出去。绕圈时的可以接受祭司发的一种叶子（嚼了吃掉）、圣水，有时会有“印泥”，可以点在眉心。转到大殿后面，有很多人像“哭墙”一样趴在墙上，不知什么寓意。在其他一些印度庙里没见这个动作。【感受】非常虔诚、很有感染力。静下心来，感受宗教的氛围，试着去理解信徒的意念。【注意事项】不要穿戴任何皮制品（皮带、皮包等），可以带袜子。
