So, a month ago I made reservations to stay at a Springhill suites Marriott. When I got there, the front desk personnel told me that they were booked and did not have any rooms left. The person at the front desk told me that they apologize for the inconvenience and would find another Marriott for me to stay at for the evening. No problem, I know mistakes happen. The person at the front desk told me that they contacted the courtyard Marriott, which is nearby and that I could stay there. I told them that I had used my 25,000 point certificate that I receive annually to pay for my room. They said that it would be no problem, and they would refund everything and for me to rebook the reservation on their app, at the Courtyard Marriott immediately. I did so and drove to that Marriott. When I arrived, I told them at the front desk that I was sent over from the Springhill suites and that I made another reservation using my certificate. They said it was no problem at all and that they have my reservation for the evening. The next morning I handed in my keys and the front desk person told me I was all set and I received my receipt for No Charges. A month later, today, I get an alert on my phone that I was charged $184 from the courtyard Marriott! I called over to the Marriott and told them that my card was fraudulently charged from them today. The lady told me that, the “Discover” card that “I” used was fraudulent, so they charged my Marriott credit card for the full price of the room. I explained to them that I have never held or used a Discover card in my life. Someone at their front desk must've made a mistake. She then went on to tell me that she called some woman who owns this supposed Discover card and that it was a fraudulent charge, and they would indeed keep the $184 charge on my card. I explained to her again, that I have never owned a Discover card and I used my annual free stay 25000 point certificate to cover my room last month. She then changed her story and told me that her hotel was having problems getting the money for the room, using the Marriott certificate that I used, and their policy is to charge me full price for the room since they are having problems getting compensated for my 25,000 point certificate. I then told her that she is not authorized to charge my card a month later. I used the Marriott reservation system, using my certificate to book that room and it is her responsibility, not mine to get compensated for it. She told me that she refuses to reverse the charge and once I swiped my Marriott credit card for incidentals, they can charge it anytime I want for anything, including damages to the room. The lady at the courtyard then proceeded to tell me because I showed up at 2 AM from the other hotel that she is personally flagging me as fraud! I have been a Marriott credit card holder for over 20 years with over 900 nights logged. At this point, I was furious, and demanded to speak with a manager. She told me that she is the ma

Well, this property could use some updates to the tiles, flooring, and a few spots here and there. But I do want to say that for 11 days the staff was our family away from home. Christina offered to bring breakfast when my sister was sick. Lisa was extra but also very accommodating. The breakfast was wonderful, smoked kielbasa sausage with peppers and onions, roasted breakfast potatoes and hot coffee made mornings exceptional. The night auditor was also very kind and walked throughout the property to make sure everyone was doing well. It is a 3 star property but it worked for us for what we needed. Thank you everyone!

So I booked through Priceline, for the 25-27 of June 2024. The maintenance and care of this place is non existent. I have stayed here many times. But every time the place gets worse. The manager does not get anything fixed or cleaned up. The curtains are rags. I nothing gets deep cleaned. This time the toilet was falling out of the floor. I brought to their attention within an hour of check-in. The maintenance, non English speaking, shows ups with a plunger, the next day. I told him it falling out of the floor...he leaves, says he will be right back, 2 hrs later, he finally shows up. with a crescent wrench. says its fixed....nope. still falling away from the floor. I asked the desk, they say they have no control over them...I'm am not able to go forward with my plans for the day. he comes back 2 hrs later again, removes the toilet, floods the room. I am in a room with sewer water. it's now 1:00pm, they move me to a room, took me an hour to transfer, my day is ruined. I ask about compensation, tell me I have to talk to priceline first. that took hours, they are a mess in itself. This hotel finally come back with a compensation of $20. for my inconvenience. They can't understand why I'm pissed. They acted like it's my fault the toilet is falling out of the floor. Like I should be grateful for the experience. Then tell me, they will refund me my fee, if i were to leave, because I am irate by now. But I won't be getting it until I check out, in a few days from now. Yeah, no dice......I will never see my money..The Hotel is under new ownership, who clearly do not intend to invest in any upgrades or repairs. Steer clear of this place, never got to take a shower, until 8:00, due to having to deal with priceline, and the hotel. Maintenance has gotten complacent, with doing the least amount. I don't think they have ever sanitized the Ice machine, or the washers and dryers. I had to scrub them down every time I have had to use use them. People, customer service, employees have gotten lazy. I will never stay here again, and because I got mad, they will not let me back anyway. NO ONE TAKES RESPONSIBILTY FOR THEIR FAILURES AS A BUSINESS. Last time I was here there was garbage strewn all over by the by the side door, for a week.....food, cig butts, nasty stinky trash. the manager walked past it everyday, and did nothing, or directed anyone to do anything.....LAZY!

The Inn at Thorn Hill is truly a special place nearly surrounded by one of the USA’s magnificent national forests. We came for the fall foliage and left a week later feeling connected to the inn, staff, and village of Jackson. The Inn is all about serenity and comfort. The staff is courteous and considerate and genuinely seem to enjoy caring for their guests for a brief period before sending them home with an appreciation of New Hampshire’s hearty spirit and natural beauty. We hope to return to the Inn at Thorn Hill during the summertime and again in the Fall to see Diana’s Baths and to sightsee along the Kancamagus Highway.

I very rarely write reviews, but I felt this was important. I read the reviews for this motel AFTER my husband had already booked the room. I was not happy…..I was quite nervous, but the room was booked, there we no available hotel rooms under $250.00 for one night and we were 2 hours away from home, so we didn’t really have a choice. We got to the hotel very late that night. There was nobody there to check us in, but our room keys and instructions were waiting for us at the door. Awesome! We get to our room, open the door and to our surprise the room was beautiful! All updated and new! The colors in the room were grey, white and brown and had red accents which made for a pretty cool pop of color! Our 2 double beds were so comfy! The sheets and comforter were so soft that we didn’t want to get out of bed the next morning! Pros-the bathroom is gorgeous, modern and brand spankin’ new! There is a dispenser filled with shampoo and body wash hanging in the shower. There is also a permanent nightlight in the bathroom. I liked that. The beds are very comfy and so is the bedding. There is a little coffee pot, fridge, a big screen tv, small round table and a chair in the room. The air conditioning/heating unit is brand new. We set the temperature to our liking with no issues. Cons- These are not necessarily bad things, but if you are used to regular hotel rooms with amenities, then you might want to read this to prepare. There is no tub, so you can’t give your baby a bath. There is no closet, no ironing board, no hooks and no hangers anywhere in the room. If you’re going to a wedding and planning on staying at this hotel just know that you can’t hang your dress or suit anywhere. There is however a bureau and shelving for your stuff. We had to fold our winter jackets and put them on the shelves. I didn’t like that. When it rains or snows and your jackets are wet you’ll have to lay them on the bed or chair, I suppose. There is no microwave. There is no hair dryer. There is a sliding pocket door to the bathroom, but no handle to open the door from the inside. Would I stay at this hotel again? OH ABSOLUTELY! Would I recommend it to people looking for a hotel to stay at?? OH ABSOLUTELY! If I was the owner/s of this hotel I would look into installing hooks of some kind for guests to hang jackets etc., because there is no closet. I’d also install a handle to get out of the bathroom. That being said, they are doing a wonderful job renovating the rooms. It’s a work in progress. Things take time, but all of their hard work will pay off in the end. I am definitely looking forward to another visit at the Yankee Clipper!

Fuimos a Manchester para celebrar el cumpleaños de mi abuela. Hacemos algunas compras, nadar y Chuck E Cheese, por supuesto. El hotel estaba perfectamente situado para todas esas cosas. Sin embargo, en la noche tranquilo. El hotel está muy bien situado, y el hotel está muy bien situado.

I had a nice experience at this hotel the receptionist super nice, the place cleaned and cute, location 4 minutes driving from the Downtown, the hotel pool was nice and they have also hot tub plus sauna with is a plus for the guests. I’m totally happy with my staying at this hotel. I also brought my two dogs to the hotel they are pet friendly and my check in was super smooth…
