El hotel Indigo Karuizawa de IHG es un espectacular estancia con estilo y encanto local, el diseño se siente fresco y vibrante, las habitaciones son confortables y el ambiente de montaña es maravilloso. Es perfecto para explorar Karuizawa, disfrutar de una gran comida y relajarse en el confort.

The room size was good and the beds were very comfortable. The view in the room was a highlight, overlooking a beautiful green garden with mountains in the background. Walking around the hotel was very enjoyable. The entire area is lush and green, and there is also a lake which adds to the atmosphere. There is an activity area as well, although it is mostly designed for kids and requires an extra fee. Bicycle rental is available, but it was surprisingly expensive, probably the highest I have seen in Japan. The onsen was unfortunately closed for two out of our three nights. We were able to use the onsen at East hotel, but it was not as good as the one in our hotel. A nice touch was the coffee. There is a popular coffee shop in town called Mikado, and the hotel provided their drip coffee for free every day. It was excellent, and when we asked for more, they kindly provided it again at no extra charge. There is also a FamilyMart inside the hotel, which carries some unique regional products. That was quite interesting and a nice detail. The shuttle bus service was always on time, and the drivers were kind and friendly. The nearby shopping mall, which is part of the hotel area, offers many popular brands at relatively good prices. It feels more like an outlet, with slightly older products, but still great for shopping. There are also a few good restaurant options within the mall. I did not have breakfast at the hotel, so I cannot comment on that. Overall, it was a good stay.

とても良い滞在になりました！行くまでは築年数から古いのかなと心配していましたがリフォームされたのかな？と思うような清潔感と新しさを感じました。駅近ではないですがシャトルバスがでているので車がなくても滞在しやすかったです！温泉はゴンドラで行くのですがそれも楽しかったです。全体的に静かで大人の癒しの滞在となりました。客層はファミリーや年配夫婦や女子旅など様々でしたが落ちついた感じで静かで良かったです。日本人が9割くらいと外国人は少なく感じました。ホテルの方はみんなとても丁寧な対応でした。また利用したいです！

What an awesome experience! The hotel offered exemplary service before we even arrived. Due to special travel arrangements, we arrived late and the staff quick to arrange an in-room bento dinner for us before our arrival. When we got there, we were immediately blown away by the gorgeousness of the hotel. Despite its age, everything was very clean and polished. I can see that great care had been taken to upkeep the hotel and it’s premises, which are extraordinarily beautiful. We couldn’t resist taking pictures even after check-out, and it took us an hour to finally reluctantly leave. Words cannot actually do the place justice, you must visit there yourself. We were very impressed with how delicious the food was, and the attention to detail, including the placement of the food, the coordination of food color. My mouth is still watering as I recall how delicious it was. I had 10 helpings of their prime rib one day. Besides, I had a dietary restriction and the staff were really careful with that, to the extent of reminding me what dishes not to eat everyday at their breakfast and dinner buffet. In addition to excellent food and service, the hotel went out of its way to be very eco-friendly. For every day that we did not need our room to be tidied, we earned points, which can be traded in for ice cream or other goodies. Finally, the staff spoke perfect English. This is rare indeed, and it made everything so much easier and so much more enjoyable. Thanks for the experience!

Los hoteles Dormy Inn se han convertido en mi opción preferida para las ciudades pequeñas de Japón. La última vez me alojé en Nagano y esta vez en Matsumoto. Siempre están limpios y ordenados, con café y bebidas gratis, además de helado. Por la noche, ofrecen ramen gratis como tentempié. Y también se puede lavar la ropa gratis; el secado solo cuesta 100 yenes, lo cual es una excelente opción si necesitas cambiarte de ropa en verano. Si vas a Kamikochi, este Dormy Inn en Matsumoto es sin duda la mejor opción. 👍

El precio no era muy caro, así que no esperábamos gran cosa. Sin embargo, todo fue realmente estupendo. El onsen público era grande y limpio. El desayuno fue realmente brillante: variedad de comida y un sabor delicioso. El único inconveniente es que está un poco lejos de la ciudad, pero no nos importó. Nos impresionó mucho. El hotel también ofrece bebidas y aperitivos gratuitos en todas partes. Además, en el salón hay bebidas y aperitivos gratis.

Hay muchos baños, lo cual es divertido. El baño al aire libre es muy bueno. Los vestuarios son pequeños. El desayuno buffet fue abundante y el local era espacioso, lo que facilitó la elección de qué comer. Como ya teníamos media reserva, nos ofrecieron platos de Año Nuevo y sake gratis. Hubo algunos problemas con la demora del servicio de cena privada y con la guía de la habitación, pero como era Año Nuevo y el personal se esforzaba al máximo, pudimos tomarlo con humor. En comparación con antes, parece que han cambiado su enfoque para atraer a familias, y la imagen general ha renacido con un aire más joven y alegre.

This is the first time I stayed at a Hoshino resort. Perhaps my expectations were too high.  Food quality was the best reason to stay here. The restaurant offers an elaborate menu. The onsen is the next big feature of the hotel. It was not as big as seen in the advertisement. Perhaps wide angle was used. Location was not great. Not much to do nearby. The free transfers to Omachi helped to kill time if you have no plan to ski at Hakuba.  Service was patchy. Below are two examples: 1) Asked reception about train tickets conditions in general but the response was we are not train company. We know that but would appreciate help in calling into the train company or checking their website in Japanese. 2) Over a supposedly fancy dinner, the server was rushing us to finish by asking us to move unfinished food items from one plate or another by ourselves to make space for the next dish. I would have expected the server to wait for us. On another occasion, the server left the next dish on the table, with lid closed, without explaining what it is. We were not sure if we should start eating or wait. The server came back in a few minutes realizing that she had not explained to us yet and apologized.  With better service and things to do nearby, the hotel will see happier customers.

Это был первый опыт горного отеля с горячими источниками. Очень приятно встретить персонал , говорящий на многих языках. Очень интеллигентная, спокойная, обстановка, настраивающая на незабываемый отдых. Всем рекомендую остаться здесь минимум на 2-3е суток, получите незабываемый опыт, который в будущем даст мысль об обязательном возвращении. Восторг! Может быть потому что всего лишь второй раз в Японии? Очень приятные воспоминания.

El hotel está muy cerca de la caminata de Guangzhou y es una experiencia muy especial para las 6:30 de la mañana. Transporte: Hacia la estación de Changjiang, los autobuses de la ciudad están en la estación de tren (el buzón es 1 y 7 bien, me siento más cerca del número 1, comprar entradas antes de salir del autobús), y después de salir del autobús puede llegar al hotel en unos minutos a pie. Servicio del hotel: Había un camarero japonés en la noche que fuimos, y había cosas más difíciles de encontrar. Restaurante del hotel: hemos preparado una segunda comida, aunque es sutil, pero el sabor es sorprendente. Además, hemos pedido a su hija un sabor de uva, con un sabor de color azulejo especial. Instalaciones del hotel: Las instalaciones de la caja no pueden ser demasiado altas. Intente no traer el equipaje. El cuarto japonés del tercer piso de nuestra vivienda será muy divertido si trae el equipaje para salir de las escaleras. Una caja: Sin USB, por favor trae la caja de dos ojos. Bañera: sólo en el primer piso, la habitación no tiene ningún lugar, y hay que correr cada vez; lavavajillas: sólo en el primer piso, y cerca de la sopa de hombre, es más sencillo, no hay lavavajillas y cuidados de la piel. Aunque el cuarto tiene aire acondicionado y aire acondicionado, la temperatura general no es alta, un poco fría, pero por sorpresa, el maíz es muy caliente y se ve especialmente el pañuelo de la guarida de Xiang.
