Xinxin at the front desk provided exceptional service. They upgraded our room for us, fearing that we might not be comfortable with the heating system. They assigned us a room on a higher floor, which was also very quiet. Xinxin was genuinely friendly and the room was clean and tidy. Experiencing the local customs and culture in Northeast China was very warm. The hotel’s location, with a mountain to the left and the Changying Film Museum across the street, is excellent. The breakfast was also quite good. We would definitely come back if given the opportunity.

Very nice room, decent location. Service is ok, not exceptional but still very ok. The greatest thing is this hotel is next to a Dongbei (North-East) bathhouse which offer a very good bathhouse and massage experience.

The staff were very kind and we were impressed by their sincere attitude toward the guests. We booked the Gyegok trekking through Trip.com, but as foreigners, we had trouble communicating with the trekking company. The manager helped us, and we had a wonderful time that will remain a pleasant memory. If we have the chance to come to Changbai Mountain again, we would definitely choose this hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. We are truly grateful for the warm hearts of all the staff. The breakfast offered a decent selection to start the day, and the hot spring (opens after 2pm) had enough pools to keep our kid entertained. Location wise, Changbaishan station is a mere 5mins ride away.
