«Excelente ubicación junto a un hermoso lago, ideal para disfrutar del paisaje. El alojamiento estaba limpio y cómodo en general, y el baño, en particular, estaba bien mantenido. La cocina está bien equipada con ollas, sartenes, cubiertos, vajilla, tostadora y microondas. Sin embargo, algunos utensilios de cocina necesitan una limpieza a fondo, ya que tienen restos de comida quemada, y algunas placas de cocina no funcionan correctamente. La limpieza en general podría mejorarse, ya que había algo de basura debajo de la cama. Las paredes son bastante delgadas, por lo que el ruido puede ser un problema: se oye a la gente caminar y también el ruido de las puertas al entrar y salir de las habitaciones. The highlight was definitely the stunning ocean view — waking up to the sea right in front of you is truly special. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They gave great recommendations for local restaurants and activities, which really helped make the trip more enjoyable and easy to plan. Overall, it’s a perfect place to stay if you’re looking for a clean, spacious room with a beautiful sea view and warm, helpful service. I would definitely stay here again.»

«Más exactamente, es más como un motel. Creer que muchas personas pasan por la carretera, pasan una noche, entonces el precio es muy adecuado, y las instalaciones antiguas no son adecuadas para las vacaciones. El estacionamiento de la puerta es gratuito, mi habitación tiene tres camas, no es grande y suave. Aunque el nivel no es alto, puede que sea muy cómodo debido a la relación entre el humor y el confort. El agua caliente es muy suave y es muy suficiente. La zona no es grande, la caja no está abajo después de abrirse. Hay calor, la noche mira el espacio y vuelve a la estrella, no está frío. Justo al lado del camino principal, es fácil de encontrar. Olvidé decirle a la recepción que llegaría tarde, me dejé la caja fuera de la puerta, me dio el mapa de la habitación, muy intimidad. Este es el primer hotel de automóvil en Nueva Zelanda, y la experiencia es buena.»

«My friends and I had a great stay at The Bealey Quarter! The motel is situated in Christchurch City, allowing easy access to the tourist sites, whether you're travelling on foot, by car, or by public transport. There are plenty of buses and metro buses that frequently stop right near the accommodation as well! The staff were very friendly. We had a late flight (that got delayed even later) and ended up having to check in after hours. They were very accommodating with this, and similarly, when we asked for new towels, we received them immediately. Similarly, they were kind enough to allow us to put our luggage in their reception office whilst we went to collect our rental car on the day that we checked out. My only issue is that I had to contact them a few times before I received the late check-in details. The facilities were lovely. and very clean! The bathroom was private with a shower with good pressure and hot water. The bench and the toilet were a little high, which we were surprised by, but this wasn't a major issue at all! My only recommendation would be to add a ventilation fan to the bathroom, as although there is an open window above the sink, ventilation was still not ideal. The room came with a heater, a really good fan, and very comfy blankets and duvets. We were also provided with glasses and mugs, a selection of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, a hair dryer, a bin, a little cupboard, desk, chair, and even a bench where our suitcases fit really well. The view of the courtyard was beautiful despite the somewhat miserable weather, and access to the courtyard via the back door meant we could use the hammocks in the nice grassy area :) The back door was a bit tough to open, and we had to actually get the staff to show us how to use it. My only other qualm is that there is no potable water in the rooms themselves. Instead, our keycard allows us to the Lodge (I believe the hostel area), where there's a kitchen and we can fill up. Overall, we had a great experience here and I definitely recommend the Bealey Quarter to anyone coming to Christchurch. It was so affordable too :)) I didn't get many good photos but here you go!»

«A diez minutos a pie del aeropuerto, muy conveniente. La habitación es pequeña pero está bien equipada. Cerca, además del supermercado, hay muchos restaurantes para comer al despertar, muy conveniente. Por la noche también se puede pedir Uber Eats al hotel, súper conveniente.»

«This was our favourite accommodation on our family trip from Christchurch to Wellington.  We had spent the first few days in hotels and the change to a self contained 2 bedroom unit for us and the kids was a welcome relief. We were so impressed with the Settlers and we wouldn’t hesitate to return or to recommend it to friends. Brett and Sue have clearly out a lot of thought and effort into the facilities and the experience. The units were immaculately clean, with nice bedding and furniture. Well stocked kitchen and thoughtful additions like the laundry and towels you could take to the water park. On top of that we were always made to few very welcome. Thanks for a wonderful time»

«We arrived late after midnight, just stayed for one night! When we entered the room it has strong curry smells, literally every corner of the room! The couch, the bathroom! Overall is ok for quick stay! But we weren’t happy about the smell of the room.»

«Very convenient location with parking lots available nearby. The hostel is within walking distance to Four Square, which makes it easy to purchase groceries and daily necessities. It’s also conveniently located near the Good Shepherd House, making it a great spot for star-gazing. There are several restaurants within walking distance, as well as the Dark Sky Project, which is another big plus. The room is small but cosy, and the heater works really well, which made the stay comfortable. Overall, a convenient and pleasant place to stay, especially for travellers who want easy access to nearby attractions and amenities.»
