«Desventajas: La iluminación de la habitación era muy tenue y al reservar no me di cuenta de que no tenía ventanas. La higiene debería ser aceptable, pero tampoco se podía apreciar bien debido a la oscuridad. La decoración era terrible; aparte de las sábanas y el techo blancos, todo lo demás era de paneles negros, y al no tener ventanas y con la mala iluminación, cada noche al volver a la habitación me sentía completamente sin energía ni motivación. Sin embargo, parece que la decoración es antigua, espero que el formaldehído ya se haya disipado. No sé si en todos los hoteles de Taiwán la lavandería es de pago, pero en este tanto la lavadora como la secadora se pagaban por separado, aunque no recuerdo el precio exacto.
Ventajas: Buena ubicación, justo enfrente de la estación de tren de Taipéi.»

Nos encantó la habitación: muy espaciosa, bellamente amueblada, camas cómodas y un baño precioso. ¡La mejor habitación en la que nos alojamos en todo nuestro viaje a Taiwán! El desayuno también fue excelente. Había mucha variedad y todo estaba delicioso.

«I love the whole vibe of the hotel where it give off this rustic industrial look but the interior of the room is really nice. Front desk was super accommodating when we wanted to upgrade our room but the initial upgraded room was not to our liking and they kindly suggested another room for us to have a look first before we decide on it. we were able to check in an hour earlier as well and was able to keep our luggage at the front desk after check out and return back later to collect. overall an amazing experience with SOF hotel and would definitely come back to stay when im in taichung again»

The Hotel is located next to the Presidential Palace, a three-minute walk to the National Taiwan University Hospital Station, a ten-minute walk to Taipei Station, and a fifteen-minute walk to Ximending.It is a very good place to stay, with 228 Park next to it.
«The location of this hotel is right in between Ximen station and Taipei station. It’s about 8 mins walk each way. There is another nearer station NTU hospital of about 6 mins walk.
The room is big with one king bed and one single bed which can accommodate 3 pax.
The toilet is huge! It comes with 2 sinks, one toilet, one bathtub and one shower area with lots of space. One of the biggest toilets I have seen and comparable size to suite hotel toilets.
The amenities was basic with toiletries (hand wash, shower and shampoo).
They also provide coffee, tea, snacks, fridge and a kettle. You will need to refill the water at the reception level or another floor. They provide hot, warm and cold water.
You can also go to the reception floor to enjoy the coffee, tea and snacks there with tables and chairs.
Only shortfall is they only provide cleaning once in the 5 days stays and there is no room slippers.
Overall, it’s an enjoyable stay and no complaints for this price.
The room is overall clean and spacious.»

Also provided an area for cook, eat, sit, work, talk; free coffee, tea and water dispenser. I highly recommend this hotel! I stay in the hostel option the bed area is so nice! Large space, clean bed sheet, storage area beside bed, also has outlet and light. One concern is that in the hostel option there will be other people in the same room, pray for luck to not get a bad roommate 😆 ใครมาพักที่ไถหนานแนะนำเลยคับ! ดีมาก สมราคา!

Usuario invitadoThis is a very unique hotel that is located in the Tofu Cape of Suao. It is the only hotel in the area as far as I know. It has an unparalelled view of the ocean and the cape that is also basically unobstructed. The room itself is also quite large with windows alll around. Bed was comfortable, service good, breakfast also surprisingly good, both western and CHinese styles. They also have a mini golf area that is overlooking the ocean. hotel is pretty quiet and peaceful. Even though thats baiscally the only ”amenity” or facility they have, its still a good place to relax and watch the sunrise or sunset. nearby there is a cafe kind of place that serves some light meals. overall is a great choice and best advised to go on a nice day if you can. Not cheap but i think still overall good value considering how unique it is. Many nice hotels in taipei dont have much of a view honestly so I think i would rather a place like this.

I rlly enjoyed my stay with Before Sunrise! They were so sweet and thoughtful, the lady boss curated a list of places to visit, eateries, and night market finds for her guests. the list was super helpful and all her finds were so good, there was nothing that i didnt enjoy from her list. the view was amazing as well, i had a clear view of beibin park from my balcony. it also gave a really good view of the sunrise over the pacific ocean... when I checked out, I was gifted with so much hualien goodies... the service is amazing and I would definitely be back the next time i'm in hualien! having waku ard is also a huge plus point! thank you to jane and her team!

Stayed at Something Easy in Jiufen and honestly, it was such a gem! The staff were super friendly — they even offered to wash my clothes for free, which totally made my day. The view from my room was absolutely stunning; I could’ve just sat there all day watching the clouds drift over the mountains. The place had so many thoughtful touches and little amenities that made it feel extra cozy and well cared for. If you’re looking for a chill, comfortable stay with warm service and an unbeatable view, this is the spot!
