I booked Tam Coc Center Luxury Hotel & Villa at the last minute and was happy that they confirmed my reservation so quickly. The location was very convenient, just a few minutes’ walk from the boat station for the Tam Coc tours, with restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Although the hotel is close to the main road, the interior area itself was surprisingly quiet. The hotel is also 15-20mins drive to Trang An. It rained heavily during my stay and several roads around Tam Coc were flooded. Thankfully, the road directly in front of the hotel remained clear, which made pick-ups and drop-offs much easier. I saw other hotels with flooded access roads, so I would highly recommend this place if you are visiting during rainy weather. There is also a cosy bar and coffee shop inside the hotel that serves until 10 pm. The seating area was comfortable and especially convenient on nights when the rain was too heavy to go out. The reception and housekeeping staff, as well as the man serving at the bar in the evenings, were all very polite, friendly, and helpful. They also spoke great English. However, I had a different experience with some of the breakfast staff. I noticed that they seemed friendly and more attentive toward Western guests but mostly just stared at me. I am Asian and could possibly be mistaken for Vietnamese, so I did not expect to feel treated differently. I hope this was only an isolated experience. The room was clean, the TV worked properly, and the air-conditioning was great. All the usual toiletries were provided, along with a hair dryer, bathrobe, and even umbrellas guests could use. There were two other things I really disliked about my room. It was located along a brightly lit corridor, and even with the blinds closed, a lot of light still seeped into the room. If you have difficulty sleeping in a bright room, I would suggest requesting a room away from the corridor. The slippers provided were also extremely uncomfortable and actually painful to wear. The hotel should really replace them with something softer and more practical. Despite these issues, the convenient location, clean room, quiet atmosphere, and easy access during heavy rain made it a good place to stay in Tam Coc.

If you're looking for a place to slow down and truly experience the serenity of Ninh Binh, Bliss Tam Coc Resort is exactly that. The resort is relatively new and beautifully nestled amongst the limestone mountains. Waking up to the sight of the peaks surrounding my balcony, even from the bathroom, was something special. The peaceful morning mist and the gentle sound of rain during an afternoon shower felt like stepping into one of those therapeutic spa soundtracks, except this was real. Some may find the resort a little removed from the main street, but that's precisely its greatest strength. The absolute tranquillity is worth every extra minute of the journey. There are no honking scooters, no crowds, just nature and stillness. My room was enormous, thoughtfully designed, and had everything I needed. One detail immediately caught my attention: there wasn't a television. To my pleasant surprise, the entire resort has deliberately chosen not to install TVs. When I checked out, the manager shared that this was a conscious decision to encourage guests to disconnect from the constant noise of everyday life and truly unwind. As someone who rarely turns on hotel TVs anyway, I absolutely loved this philosophy. The service deserves special mention. Every staff member I met was genuinely warm, attentive, and eager to help. While not everyone spoke fluent English, it never became a barrier. In fact, it added to the authentic charm of the place. The team was resourceful and thoughtful. On one occasion, I had accidentally left my ”Do Not Disturb” sign on while I was out exploring. Instead of simply leaving the room untouched, they reached out to me via WhatsApp to check whether I would still like housekeeping. It's such a simple idea, but it reflects how much they care about guest comfort. Bliss Tam Coc Resort isn't about luxury through extravagance. It's about thoughtful design, genuine hospitality, and creating a peaceful space where you can disconnect from the world and reconnect with yourself. I left feeling refreshed, rested, and already thinking about my next visit. Highly recommended.

A great place when you do not want to be in the chaotic tourist area. It has a beautiful view, a swimming pool (warm water though), free bicycles (15 min to Bich Dong Pagoda) and because there is no late evening food places around we just ordered Grab food 😂. Always on airco which is great for clothes drying and breakfast had this perfect Pho and many other options.

I had a wonderful stay at this family owned homestay and it truly felt warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The location might be slightly difficult to find at first, especially if it’s your first time visiting the area, but it’s actually very convenient. There are many businesses that open past midnight: food options, convenience stores, shopping spots, massage places, laundry services, and drinking places nearby. One thing that really stood out to me was how thoughtful they were when I asked for milk during breakfast. Even though they did not have regular milk available, they still made the effort to find an alternative and served me soy milk instead. I was genuinely happy with that gesture because it showed how much they cared about catering to their guests’ needs and making them feel at home. The breakfasts were one of the highlights of my stay. They served a traditional Vietnamese rice noodle dish one morning, and honestly, it was the best one I had during my entire stay in Vietnam. It tasted fresh, authentic, and homemade, which made the experience even more special. Because it is a new establishment, the rooms look and felt much better in person than in the pictures online. Everything was clean, cozy, spacious, and beautifully maintained. Another great feature was that they provided electric-powered bicycles, which made it very convenient and enjoyable to explore the surrounding area. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations in every way. The genuine hospitality from the family, the delicious homemade breakfasts, the comfortable rooms, and the thoughtful amenities made this a truly memorable experience. **A Hidden Paradise in Ninh Bình** I honestly didn't expect to find something this peaceful. Tucked between towering limestone mountains and a quiet river, this resort feels like a true 世外桃源 — a world away from everything. The pool is one of the most beautiful I've seen: spotless, calm, and perfectly framed by palm trees and thatched-roof bungalows. Every morning I'd sit by the water with the mountains rising just behind the rooftops, and it genuinely felt like the outside world had disappeared. What made the stay truly special, though, was the service. The staff were warm, attentive, and constantly going out of their way to make guests comfortable — from a relaxing complimentary foot soak by the river to little touches like fresh tea and local snacks served in traditional bowls on the bamboo table. Nothing felt rushed or transactional; every interaction felt genuine and kind. The surrounding scenery is stunning — bamboo groves, a floating pavilion over the water, and mountains wrapped in mist most mornings. Sitting there with tea and watching the light change over the hills was one of my favorite moments of the entire trip. Rooms are simple but comfortable, blending naturally into the landscape with earthy tones and thatched roofs that suit the setting perfectly. It's the kind of place where you slow down without even trying. If you're looking for a peaceful escape with genuine hospitality, clean facilities, and gorgeous natural surroundings, I can't recommend this place enough. It's a rare find — truly a paradise hidden among the mountains and water.

Llegamos casi a medianoche la primera noche, y al conductor le costó encontrar la ubicación de Favos. El aire acondicionado de la habitación que nos asignaron inicialmente (habitación 201) no funcionaba bien, así que el personal nos cambió a otra habitación (habitación 101). La segunda noche, el aire acondicionado de la habitación original seguía sin mejorar, así que nos cambiaron de nuevo a otra habitación (D3). La tercera noche, nos dejaron elegir cualquier habitación (ya que había muchas vacías). Los propietarios y todo el personal de servicio fueron muy atentos y proactivos, ayudándonos con el equipaje de principio a fin y haciendo todo lo posible para ayudarnos con nuestras peticiones (incluido el alquiler de bicicletas y la inscripción en tours locales). Nota: No pudimos con el desayuno en Favos, así que elegimos desayunar en otro homestay cercano, Tam Coc Moment Homestay, que es muy recomendable.

Gorgeous home stay with a pool and nice rooms which felt very private. Unfortunately we had some issues with breakfast - although the hosts confirmed that breakfast would be available 7-9am on arrival, and again over message the following morning, when we went down to eat at about 7:45 there was nobody in reception, and just some crackers on a table, which was quite confusing. We contacted the hosts and they said they would com back, but we had a tour collecting us at 8:30 so by the time they arrived (8:25) we could not have breakfast. We learned from this and ‘booked’ breakfast at 8am the next day, which we received, but there was no choice. Nice place, and the hosts are nice, I just recommend confirming a time for breakfast (we weren’t asked to) if you have things booked for your visit to avoid disappointment, or just planning to eat elsewhere.

Nada es un problema y las soluciones son sencillas, incluso encontrar una maleta perdida en Saigón. El equipo que Chi guía durante todo el día es amable, sociable y auténtico, y siempre está dispuesto a ayudar. Se anticipan a cualquier necesidad o deseo antes de que te des cuenta y crean momentos y recuerdos que solo podrías desear vivir en otros lugares. Chi, Hunee y Tony, junto con otros miembros del personal cuyos nombres lamentablemente no supimos, son el alma de Ninh Binh Harmony Retreat. Estar en su presencia enriqueció la experiencia. Son un verdadero orgullo para su empleador y para el negocio. El Retreat se encuentra apartado de la carretera principal, en un callejón lleno de niños y familias riendo. Te sientes completamente desconectado del bullicio de la ciudad de Tam Coc o del casco antiguo de Hoa Loa, que son visitas obligadas. Hay una piscina maravillosa, ideal para familias, una mesa de billar, karaoke, bicicletas y un desayuno y café increíbles. Viajamos mucho y vivimos una experiencia personal sincera y genuina que nos hizo sentir verdaderamente atendidos. Recomendamos encarecidamente Ninh Binh Harmony Retreat.

El hotel era muy bueno en general. El tipo en la recepción parecía un poco confuso durante la entrada al principio, pero luego se redimió completamente en mis ojos. El resto del personal también era muy agradable. El hotel ofrece bicicletas gratis, que fue un bonito bono. The room I stayed in was good, clean and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location is excellent, being close to Bai Dinh Temple and the Trang An river tour, which made exploring very convenient. The property itself is wonderfully peaceful, surrounded by nature and perfect for relaxing away from busy areas. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout, always happy to help. There was also a very cute dog on-site, which added a lovely, homely touch. Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable stay that I would recommend.
