Cleanliness: our rooms were reasonably clean when we received them, and when we vacated them during the day, the staff took the liberty to come in, re-made the beds and re-supplied the amenities in the bathrooms. Location: hotel is located on the outskirts of Cam Ranh so it is near the airport and far from everything else. There are some restaurants within walking distance from the hotel but their qualities are quite meh (food doesn’t contain much seafood and prizes are only reasonable to foreigner. You would get much more quality seafood at the same prize if you go to Binh Hung Island - only 25km by car + 30-min by boat from the hotel, just look for the nearest seaport on Google map.) However, if you’re looking for a place to enjoy peace and quiet that does not require traveling far to get to stuff then this shouldn’t be a problem as the premise contains a little bit of everything from restaurants, pools, beach, leisure, work out centers, etc. You name it and they have it. Service: generally, the staff are friendly and helpful. We were all served tea the moment we entered the hotel and luggage was brought to our rooms for us. We booked 4 rooms that contain either 1 king bed or 2 queen beds. When we check-in, they only have king-bed rooms available but when we asked to exchange for a room with 2 beds, the staff offered to talk to the manager and we got what we requested after a 30-min wait. The reason for the 4-star is that, personally, I get that they want to keep a professional demeanor but a few smiles here and there shouldn’t hurt anyone. But maybe that’s just me. Amenities: breakfast buffet was reasonably diverse. I particularly enjoyed their bread and fruit section. Everything else was pretty standard.

Before making the reservation, I visited the hotel and was shown a room on a higher floor — it looked nice and was a bit larger. Then I went back to the reception, where they told me I could take a room with a city view. I made the booking, but when I received the room, it wasn’t the same one I had seen before. When I asked at the reception, they said the one I saw earlier was more expensive. It doesn’t matter much now, but if you plan to book here, I recommend asking clearly in advance and making sure you get the room you actually reserved.Check-in was done one hour earlier, which I appreciate. The view from the room was good, and the room itself was fairly spacious. The cleaning was done but somewhat superficial at first; however, after I talked to the reception in the following days, they came and cleaned it properly.

Como viajábamos con un bebé, una habitación tranquila y limpia era fundamental para nosotros. Los desayunos eran buenos y tenían una trona. Había de sobra para alimentar al bebé. El hotel está muy bien ubicado, la entrada es preciosa y la habitación es preciosa. El jacuzzi fue un lujo. El baño era moderno. Nos proporcionaron una cuna, que era muy cómoda. La piscina estaba fría, así que no nos atrevimos a entrar. La zona infantil es pequeña. El gimnasio está bien. Mi única queja fue que la almohada era un poco demasiado dura para mí.

We spent 4D3N at JW Marriott Cam Ranh Resort & Spa and overall had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay, largely thanks to the wonderful service from the staff. The resort itself is still relatively new and it shows — the grounds were well kept, clean, and thoughtfully maintained throughout our stay. The pools were in great condition, and the slow river was a highlight, especially drifting along on a float in such a peaceful setting. The location, however, is something to plan for. The resort is about a 40-minute drive from Nha Trang city, so it’s best to plan your days properly to maximise time spent within the resort rather than commuting back and forth. We were assigned a ground-level room, which was convenient for access, but it came with a few drawbacks. Every morning, we experienced noticeable footsteps from the room above, along with cleaning noises from the corridors and sidewalks outside. The bigger issue was the shower drainage — it was consistently poor, often overflowing and spilling water outside the shower stall. I had to manually remove the drain cover to allow water to flow. Given the visibly wet area outside the shower and the removed drain cover, I would have expected housekeeping to notice and address it, but unfortunately this issue persisted throughout our entire stay. Where the resort truly shines is its people. The ground staff were incredibly helpful and efficient — not once were my partner and I delayed or told to wait. Buggies arrived promptly whenever we needed transport around the resort. Despite some language barriers, everyone was full of smiles and genuinely eager to help. One gentleman (whose name I unfortunately didn’t get) remembered my name from the breakfast manifest and greeted me warmly whenever we crossed paths elsewhere in the resort — always with a smile. Special mentions: • Hau was extremely pleasant and welcoming. Her impeccable service made us feel relaxed from the start, and even on check-out day, she remembered my name, greeted me warmly, and checked in to see how our stay had been. • Bryan was proactive and enthusiastic, offering thoughtful recommendations to enhance our experience. He also consistently checked in with us whenever we bumped into him. • Linh and Andrew at the front desk were excellent — check-out was smooth, and all our questions were answered clearly and efficiently. Dining-wise, the seafood grill restaurant was just alright. We enjoyed some dishes, but others missed the mark. The steak, in particular, was overcooked and grainy, even for a striploin, and our preferred doneness was not checked beforehand. While we provided feedback, it was merely acknowledged without any follow-up, which was disappointing given the brand and pricing. The spa experience was very enjoyable. The therapists were skilled, the singing bowl was a lovely touch, and combined with the serene surroundings, it made for a truly relaxing session. That said, for the price paid — even with the Bonvoy discount — it may be worth exploring other spa options around Cam Ranh. Overall, this was a nice and relaxing stay. We would definitely return for the outstanding service and the genuinely warm and attentive staff. Next time, however, we would likely skip the resort restaurant and opt for a spa in town instead.

Un resort de lujo hermoso y único que combina a la perfección el encanto local, unas vacaciones sofisticadas y la naturaleza salvaje. El hotel está enclavado entre montañas y el mar, ofreciendo excelentes vistas a la montaña y al océano. El paisaje natural circundante es rico y diverso, lo que permite una amplia gama de actividades de exploración. Ya sea participando en las actividades organizadas por el hotel o explorando por cuenta propia, la experiencia es fantástica. Me alojé en una Villa en la Copa de los Árboles, construida sobre una plataforma por encima de las copas de los árboles, con vistas panorámicas y un panorama magnífico. Las instalaciones de la habitación eran exquisitas y con un marcado estilo vietnamita; la cama, la bañera y todas las comodidades eran muy confortables. Durante mi estancia, el mayordomo me ayudó con la decoración de la habitación. El mayordomo fue muy atento y comunicativo, y la decoración era preciosa. Sin embargo, al colocar los pétalos de flores decorativos, escribieron mal el nombre de mi novia 😂 Aunque no se notaba mucho, podrían haber tenido más cuidado. Hubieran sido un buen recuerdo, pero llevarlos también suponía un cargo extra. Teniendo en cuenta el precio total de la habitación, estos pequeños objetos no eran caros, y el cargo adicional nos pareció un poco excesivo. En general, fue una experiencia estupenda y unas vacaciones maravillosas e inolvidables.

Vinimos a nuestra puerta abierta después de mantener la casa una vez, también vimos muchas puertas abiertas en nuestro piso cada día durante nuestra estancia.

Fantastic location close to beach and shops and restaurants. The room we had was very nice and very spacious eith ocean view (highly recommend ocean view). Breakfast was a little disappointing....not much choice of desserts and pastries , coffee is not so good. Breakfast meals are not all ways replenished and if you come fir Breakfast st say 8am you may miss out on food already gone which is not replaced. E.g. no milk, only a scraps of fruit, no coffee cups left or condensed milk etc.
