I traveled alone on vacation and booked a villa with a garden – it was one of my best trips ever! The resort consists of rooms in a multi-story building, two-story blocks, and private villas. The property has 2 amazing pools: large, comfortable, and packed with cool features for kids. There’s also a shop in the main building where you can buy everything from instant noodles and ice cream to shampoo and umbrellas. Two restaurants offer very reasonable prices if you’re on a breakfast-only plan. The resort is literally a 6-minute drive from the airport and, in my opinion, the greenest, shadiest, and most comfortable among nearby options. They provide a shuttle to Nha Trang twice a day, dropping you off at the shopping mall opposite the Lotus Temple on the waterfront, with return shuttles from the same spot twice daily. The ride to Nha Trang takes about 40 minutes. To get around Nha Trang, I used GRAB taxis – just install the app and set ”cash” as the payment method; it worked perfectly. By the way, the resort exchanges Vietnamese dong (VND) at a slightly better rate than the airport. More about the resort: I booked via Trip.com and handled all communication with the resort through the app. Upon arrival, a free pre-arranged transfer (requested via a form they sent) was waiting. The driver met me at the exit with a sign bearing my name. Check-in was quick since it wasn’t busy. The resort is large and handles multiple check-ins/check-outs smoothly. My villa was incredibly spacious and comfortable, equipped with everything you could need (even a flashlight, umbrella, ironing board, and all imaginable toiletries). Housekeeping came daily and provided ample bottled water, so no issues there. There were a few mosquitoes, but the in-room fumigator handled them well. My package included breakfast, served for villa guests at the beachfront restaurant. They also offer afternoon tea (2–4 PM) with drinks, fruit, and pastries – perfect for a midday snack. I chose this resort specifically for its lush greenery, and it was a 100% success! The landscape design, variety of plants, and flowers are indescribably beautiful – you must see it! Waterfalls, ponds, and streams with fish create total relaxation. The grounds are expansive: walking the full loop is nearly 2 km. There’s also a golf course, tennis courts, and a small but well-equipped gym. The resort’s private beach is excellent: plenty of loungers, easy entry into the sea, a lifeguard on duty from 6 AM to 6 PM, and it’s very clean. Note: abandoned construction sites flank the resort, and the sea washes debris onto their shores (naturally, no one cleans it), but it’s not excessive. The coastline itself is huge – 17 km long – perfect for endless walks with very few people. The spa is stunning (private lakeside cabins, skilled masseuses), and the Japanese restaurant on the 20th floor of the main building offers incredible views. In summary: This resort suits any type of vacation. For peace and quiet (choose a villa – serene with greenery right outside), or for families/friends with kids (great entertainment, pools, beach, and restaurant menus). I highly recommend it and will return with my family!

Отель очень порадовал, прекрасный дизайн, природа вокруг и чистое море. Я давно так долго не купалась:) мы жили на вилле с живописным видом на горы. В зоне вилл пока еще не открыт бассейн и бар, значит скоро там будет еще комфортней. Особо стоит отметить спа по приемлемым ценам и отличный буфет, еда на любой вкус, хороший кофе (разное альтернативное молоко), много фруктов, а по вечерам гриль на улице. Ребенку понравился детский центр, мы много играли в аэрохоккей и биллиард. Это мое первое путешествие во Вьетнам, рада, что выбрала именно этот отель!

Before making the reservation, I visited the hotel and was shown a room on a higher floor — it looked nice and was a bit larger. Then I went back to the reception, where they told me I could take a room with a city view. I made the booking, but when I received the room, it wasn’t the same one I had seen before. When I asked at the reception, they said the one I saw earlier was more expensive. It doesn’t matter much now, but if you plan to book here, I recommend asking clearly in advance and making sure you get the room you actually reserved.Check-in was done one hour earlier, which I appreciate. The view from the room was good, and the room itself was fairly spacious. The cleaning was done but somewhat superficial at first; however, after I talked to the reception in the following days, they came and cleaned it properly.

Nos alojamos en este hotel durante dos semanas, alquilando una suite con vistas al mar. Celebramos Nochevieja. Como viajábamos con un bebé, una habitación tranquila y limpia era fundamental para nosotros. Los desayunos eran buenos y tenían una trona. Había de sobra para alimentar al bebé. El hotel está muy bien ubicado, la entrada es preciosa y la habitación es preciosa. El jacuzzi fue un lujo. El baño era moderno. Nos proporcionaron una cuna, que era muy cómoda. La piscina estaba fría, así que no nos atrevimos a entrar. La zona infantil es pequeña. El gimnasio está bien. Mi única queja fue que la almohada era un poco demasiado dura para mí.

We spent 4D3N at JW Marriott Cam Ranh Resort & Spa and overall had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay, largely thanks to the wonderful service from the staff. The resort itself is still relatively new and it shows — the grounds were well kept, clean, and thoughtfully maintained throughout our stay. The pools were in great condition, and the slow river was a highlight, especially drifting along on a float in such a peaceful setting. The location, however, is something to plan for. The resort is about a 40-minute drive from Nha Trang city, so it’s best to plan your days properly to maximise time spent within the resort rather than commuting back and forth. We were assigned a ground-level room, which was convenient for access, but it came with a few drawbacks. Every morning, we experienced noticeable footsteps from the room above, along with cleaning noises from the corridors and sidewalks outside. The bigger issue was the shower drainage — it was consistently poor, often overflowing and spilling water outside the shower stall. I had to manually remove the drain cover to allow water to flow. Given the visibly wet area outside the shower and the removed drain cover, I would have expected housekeeping to notice and address it, but unfortunately this issue persisted throughout our entire stay. Where the resort truly shines is its people. The ground staff were incredibly helpful and efficient — not once were my partner and I delayed or told to wait. Buggies arrived promptly whenever we needed transport around the resort. Despite some language barriers, everyone was full of smiles and genuinely eager to help. One gentleman (whose name I unfortunately didn’t get) remembered my name from the breakfast manifest and greeted me warmly whenever we crossed paths elsewhere in the resort — always with a smile. Special mentions: • Hau was extremely pleasant and welcoming. Her impeccable service made us feel relaxed from the start, and even on check-out day, she remembered my name, greeted me warmly, and checked in to see how our stay had been. • Bryan was proactive and enthusiastic, offering thoughtful recommendations to enhance our experience. He also consistently checked in with us whenever we bumped into him. • Linh and Andrew at the front desk were excellent — check-out was smooth, and all our questions were answered clearly and efficiently. Dining-wise, the seafood grill restaurant was just alright. We enjoyed some dishes, but others missed the mark. The steak, in particular, was overcooked and grainy, even for a striploin, and our preferred doneness was not checked beforehand. While we provided feedback, it was merely acknowledged without any follow-up, which was disappointing given the brand and pricing. The spa experience was very enjoyable. The therapists were skilled, the singing bowl was a lovely touch, and combined with the serene surroundings, it made for a truly relaxing session. That said, for the price paid — even with the Bonvoy discount — it may be worth exploring other spa options around Cam Ranh. Overall, this was a nice and relaxing stay. We would definitely return for the outstanding service and the genuinely warm and attentive staff. Next time, however, we would likely skip the resort restaurant and opt for a spa in town instead.

Un resort de lujo hermoso y único que combina a la perfección el encanto local, unas vacaciones sofisticadas y la naturaleza salvaje. El hotel está enclavado entre montañas y el mar, ofreciendo excelentes vistas a la montaña y al océano. El paisaje natural circundante es rico y diverso, lo que permite una amplia gama de actividades de exploración. Ya sea participando en las actividades organizadas por el hotel o explorando por cuenta propia, la experiencia es fantástica. Me alojé en una Villa en la Copa de los Árboles, construida sobre una plataforma por encima de las copas de los árboles, con vistas panorámicas y un panorama magnífico. Las instalaciones de la habitación eran exquisitas y con un marcado estilo vietnamita; la cama, la bañera y todas las comodidades eran muy confortables. Durante mi estancia, el mayordomo me ayudó con la decoración de la habitación. El mayordomo fue muy atento y comunicativo, y la decoración era preciosa. Sin embargo, al colocar los pétalos de flores decorativos, escribieron mal el nombre de mi novia 😂 Aunque no se notaba mucho, podrían haber tenido más cuidado. Las bebidas del minibar tienen un coste adicional. El sombrero de bambú, el pequeño abanico y la bolsa tejida que había en la habitación eran muy vietnamitas y bonitos. Hubieran sido un buen recuerdo, pero llevarlos también suponía un cargo extra. Teniendo en cuenta el precio total de la habitación, estos pequeños objetos no eran caros, y el cargo adicional nos pareció un poco excesivo. En general, fue una experiencia estupenda y unas vacaciones maravillosas e inolvidables.

Vinimos a nuestra puerta abierta después de mantener la casa una vez, también vimos muchas puertas abiertas en nuestro piso cada día durante nuestra estancia.

The hotel is a little bit old but condition is good. Breakfast is reasonable with good varieties of local food. Location is great, across the road from the beach. Nearby are many eateries and shops. Value for money.
