I chose to stay at Dunyo Palace as it had positive reviews by Trip members and it had an outdoor swimming pool. It was also great value for money for solo travellers. I arrived early than expected at check in and staff were ready to greet me! Wonderful reception staff! The hotel was bigger than expected and the reception area was very modern and clean with nicely decorated interior. I was shown to my room which was on the second floor. I stayed in a single persons room 205. It was bigger than expected with a big bathroom. There were extras like a bath, comfy chairs to chill. I had a fridge, kettle and a full size mirror. I like a full size mirror. The room also had air conditioning which was very good and very quiet. I had a view of the front of the hotel from my window that was pleasant. My room smelled very pleasant and was a non smoking room. My bed was very comfortable for my back. Breakfast was a buffet with a lot of Uzbekistan food which I had never tried before. It was a very busy breakfast area. There was a big range of different foods including fruits and cheeses. I liked the spinach parcels they were very tasty. A lot of the food was homemade. I thought it was delicious. There are a range of buses that offer great service to solo travellers arriving on the train. I caught a Marshuktra from the train station number 378. The Marshuktra dropped me at the bus stop on the road for No 1 bus that stops right outside the hotel. You can also take bus 7/33 All very easy and cheaper than a taxi. I would definitely stay at this hotel again because it has a very nice swimming pool that I used in the afternoon after a long morning sight seeing. I would highly recommend visiting Sitorai Mohi Hosa which is a short distance from the hotel and you can take bus 7/33 or walk. It’s an amazing visit if you are interested in art, culture and architecture. The hotel is very convenient for solo travellers who are a bit too old for Hostels! And like a cold swim after a long day sightseeing without breaking the piggy bank! The first pictures are of my hotel room and the front on the hotel. The other pictures relate to my visits and walks in the local area. I hope you find this helpful. I wanted to stay longer in the hotel but Trip would not provide additional extensions to my trip.

Wasn’t a very pleasant stay. On the first day we felt like a scam. We booked the room with an open window door but when we checked in, they gave us an accessible room next to the lift. Nothing looked like the picture on trip.com nor on Mercure website. The accessible bathroom design was also a huge miss. We tried to talk to front desk but they said that’s the last room they have and there were twin beds in the room, so that’s the correct room. They in the end asked us to request for room change the next day if we don’t ‘like’ it. We waited the manager until late morning next day and explained the issue which was more than a room change request. The manager admitted there are only a few rooms that actually look like the picture on their website. They finally gave us the room that we actually booked after a long argument, and compensated us on the first night issue. Beware of what you booked. They mixed a lot of different rooms into one room category and charge the same price point. The room amenities were basic also.

Rooms were big and clean. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was alright too! No complaints. They have a gym with some outdated workout equipment, not amazing but it’ll be enough to keep you going. Location is around 15-20 mins walk to the old town. But there is a coffee shop nearby and other restaurants not too far away.

Pasé tres noches en un viaje de un solo individuo. El último día, el tiempo del tren fue de repente una hora antes, así que fue una mañana, pero pedí un servicio de transporte desde el hotel al tren. El personal que respondió en el momento de la estancia fue muy amable, muy amable y muy entusiasta con mi mala idea de inglés. Además, los que me han llevado son seguros y me lo agradezco mucho, incluso en la mañana. El desayuno también es delicioso. Las instalaciones del hotel son muy pequeñas y el conjunto de dientes es esencial. El hotel tiene un olor único. Pero me acostumbraré a eso en unos días. Se escándalo un poco de agua potable, pero sólo comienza a usarlo. Me gusta escuchar una hermosa canción cada noche, y es muy cómodo porque puedo ver YouTube en mi habitación.

The hotel is beautiful and perfectly located, with many of Bukhara’s main attractions within walking distance. Everything is brand new, and I would highly recommend this hotel. I visit Bukhara at least twice a year, and this is by far the best hotel I have stayed at in the city so far. The hotel had only been open for about a week during my stay, so I believe some minor issues are simply because the staff are still getting used to the systems and procedures. For example, my reservation showed that the payment had already been made, but at checkout I was told that the payment had not yet appeared in their account. I had to wait for around 5–10 minutes while they checked the situation, but eventually everything was sorted out and I was able to leave without any problem. Considering how new the hotel is, I completely understand these minor issues. Overall, I had a very positive experience and would definitely stay here again.

This is a very nice hotel. I found it very clean and comfortable. The workers are also nice and friendly, and they speak English very well. The price you pay here is worth the services it offers. If I were to return or visit Bukhara again, I would definitely feel okay to spend the night here. The pictures show the type of room I booked, and some parts of the environment inside this hotel.

Останавливался на две ночи. При выборе значительную роль сыграл размер отеля, номера и наличие балкона. Больших претензий к проживанию нет. Достаточно приличный завтрак. Номер большой, балкон присутствовал. Тем не менее, номер какой-то непродуманный и не слишком уютный, как-будто под отель переделали помещение, исходно предназначенное для чего-то другого. Мебель скромная. До основных достопримечательностей придется пройтись по не самым живописным улочкам - никакого удовольствия, особенно ночью ) Конечно, всегда можно вызвать недорогое такси. В общем, кмк цена в 100 долларов за ночь за данный отель сильно завышена, особенно по меркам Узбекистана.

Location-wise, the hotel is not in the city center, but that’s not a big issue in Bukhara, the city is small and a taxi ride of around 10–15 minutes gets you anywhere. However, there is a construction site right next to the hotel. Work starts early in the morning, if you’re planning a trip anytime soon, I would not recommend staying here due to the noise . And the breakfast is quite disappointing. Most importantly, the hygiene standard was concerning. The toilet paper provided in our room appeared to be visibly stained.
