«Check-in and check-out were fast and smooth. A ₱2,000 deposit was required for three deluxe rooms. Check-in instructions focused more on penalties than on amenities. The Wi-Fi password was not provided upon check-in and we had to ask for it. Wi-Fi connection was poor, and Globe mobile signal was also weak inside the room. We had to step out to the small balcony to get a signal. Bathroom amenities were very basic. There were 3 soaps and 3 small containers of shampoo with conditioner. Toothbrush, toothpaste, room slippers, and cotton buds were not provided, so we had to buy these outside. I asked an extra bathroom tissue roll from the housekeeping which they instantly provided. Drinking water is obtained from a dispenser along the hallway near the elevator. The plastic water container provided in the room was old and had cracks. Cups were made of plastic. Hope they switch to glasses instead. I initially thought we booked a room in the main beachfront building, but we were assigned to the East Wing. This was acceptable since it is only a few minutes’ walk and conveniently located near the police station and 7-Eleven. But I really thought room were located in MAIN building since title of the room indicated MAIN. The staff were friendly and accommodating. However, it was difficult to reach the front desk. The first call was dropped, and succeeding calls took some time before being answered. Nonetheless, staff were helpful and cheerful. You'll get to meet them along the hallway, the lobby, and will be greeted always. Assisted breakfast was typical and simple. Nothing fancy, but portions can be adjusted upon request and the staff were accommodating. There is a BBQ stand located outside the lobby. The BBQ and kansi were good. You can order for dine-in at their garden area, and the crew were friendly and served well. Prices range from ₱50–₱60 for skewers, and ₱80 for kansi (try this). There are restoa and stores located nearby. I experienced itchiness on the lower part of the bed near my feet and legs. I am not sure if this was due to bed bugs, but it was uncomfortable. Had to open the duvet and external sheets to manually clean it. Overall, the stay was acceptable, but improvements in amenities, connectivity, and room comfort would make a big difference.»

«Un gran hotel. Soy un crítico y he estado en hoteles en más de 55 países. ¡Me negué a pagar el depósito pero cedí porque era su política! No me decepcioné. Este hotel es de 5 estrellas gracias al cortés personal y la administración, que te hacen sentir como la realeza. Las instalaciones son de primer nivel al igual que las habitaciones que vienen equipadas con chanclas, té y café, batas, agua caliente en las duchas y cómodas camas con smart TV. Los masajes son de primera clase, el skypool, la piscina grande también y el desayuno fantástico. Sin olvidar la vista frente a la playa. Obtienes las mejores puestas de sol que he visto en mi vida. Todas las comodidades si buscas un hotel de primera estrella. ¡Bien hecho, arenas cristalinas de Hennan!»

«Si te gusta el ruido y no te gusta el sueño, entonces este es el ace para ti. El personal aquí estaba genial. Nos sentíamos bienvenidos y cuidamos. Habitaciones perfectas tamaño y camas super cómodas. Balcón tenía una buena vista y la TV era enorme y buena calidad. Mi hijo disfrutó de sus películas de noche. Lamentablemente, este lugar potencialmente idílico fue rodeado por el ruido que lo rodea. La puerta siguiente estaba un campo de grifos que se crecían de 3.30 am. Eran muy altos y las puertas del balcón no guardaban ningún ruido. Dos veces nos despertamos por las salidas tempranas que rodean sus maletas por encima de nuestra habitación (3.15am!) La música de teclado era horrible y innecesariamente alta. Tacky, con una pista de respaldo rubí. El lugar de la puerta adyacente tenía música de club alto que explotó hasta todas las horas que se podía oír con la música del hotel. La noche que tuvimos que tratar de dormir con una multitud de fútbol, mirando la taza asiática proyectada en el lado del edificio, la ducha era de dos temperaturas: caliente, caliente, y congelado. No me quedaría aquí otra vez.»

«Our stay in Calypso lasted 3 days and 2 nights, and the first thing I appreciated was the location; it’s close to the road access for e-trikes, and literally beach front so you don’t have to look far to go for a swim or start your morning stroll along the coast. They offered plated breakfast options in Sansi that had a nice assortment of Filipino silogs and interncontinental plates that I enjoyed. However, the staff can be a little careless in preparing the food. I ordered extra sausages, and one still had the plastic film around it. Reception also requires a lot of proactivity if you want your room cleaned, need a hair dryer, or your beach towels provided for. Not a huge deal personally because people in the front desk are easy to communicate with, but more effort in voluntarily doing so would have been appreciated. For the price I booked for 2 superior rooms, and the prime location, I would still say that the experience was overall pleasant with little room for improvement. Also, there’s a cute cat in the area! Make sure to say hi!»

Front desk entertained guests not at par with what other luxury hotel/resorts provide They need to improve the quality of personnel, because it dragged our stay... place was wonderful»

«Si estás visitando Boracay, ¡este es el hotel que debes reservar! El hotel está bien mantenido. Habitaciones limpias, piscinas limpias. El personal del hotel es amable, todos son muy cálidos y serviciales. Dios, soy un amante de la comida, su comida superó mis expectativas, tenían muchas opciones para elegir, desde comida china, coreana, filipina y occidental. Está convenientemente ubicado más cerca de la playa, puedes ver la puesta de sol y tomar muchas fotos hermosas, hay muchos restaurantes alrededor de la playa y pequeñas tiendas de recuerdos. También hay un D'mall cerca. También cuentan con servicio de recogida en el aeropuerto, lo que facilitó nuestro traslado. Definitivamente reservaría con ellos la próxima vez. El hotel está situado cerca de la estación 2, puedes tomar el barco a diferentes islas.»
