The studio room refered by the listing,resembles close to a superior sized hotel room with a queen size bed, a small desk corner and a small kitchenette by the door entrance, equipped with a well functioning fridge. For the price value point, i would say the room listing is worth the room, location, and POLITENESS of the service rendered (yes... Just the politeness, but efficiency wise..... I'll explain) Anyone who is looking to book this room for future conveniencies near the BSD ICE... MAKE SURE you are familiar with the malay/indo language... Or at least have an indonesian number or friend... As it would turn out to be a nightmare for the international guests... Before the check-in date, you'll be approached through trip.com's message channel by the vendor who will ask you for your check-in time and check-out time. Why? Because this isn't a hotel, and the reception counter staff under the apartment isn't the check-in person in charge ..... It is actually managed by a third-party called travelio, a local travel agency within Jakarta. Summarised: 1. They will ask you to download the travelio app (language available in english and indonesian only), to process your check-in and submit deposit through there. However, my problem was, i was unable to input my booking ref & pin (information sent to your email after booking) due to ”incomplete profile information error” which would lead me to thinking it was verifying my phone number (your travelio account becomes unable to verify after 3 failed OTP attempts, which the OTP never arrives regardless of choosing sms or whatsapp) 2. Their travelio support team and customer service, only allows communication through whatsapp texts, no calls. Meaning... U might have to wait while you panic. 3. Throughout the whole nighmare checkin process, they insist on downloading the travelio app. (Suspicious for trip.com to have included a 3rd party travel agency, but things happen, and my experience with trip.com ended on a good note with professional staffs trying to follow up on a consistent basis) Regarding the room small problems found which i shared with the travelio agent as well: 1. The bedsheets had several yellow stains, but no bedbugs and foul smell detected. 2. Entrance door can only be locked using a normal key, and the key was slightly out of shape, making it hard to lock from the outside. 3. There was no hot water for showering. 4. If you book the room for long stay, do note this is not a hotel, so there will be no daily housekeeping and replenishment of amenities provided (body soap, shampoo and dishwashing liquid in a small 50ml bottle. NOTE: the shampoo and body soap do smell nice, but they do not foam up. It is better to buy them in a small indomart located just underneath the apartment) 5. There is no water kettle. You will have to boil it like you are cooking :D In conclusion: Book this place if you have experience with travelio or well versed with indonesian language (they did reach out to me in english after some time, but the efficiency takes way too long). The travelio people whom i have met are very polite, but when it comes to check out.... As they do not have a person in charge at the apartment, it means you do not have the flexibility of checking out whenever you want... And that means, pay close attention to what time your flight is.

Had a great stay at Herloom! Brought our dog along, additional 300k/night for small dog. They provide bed and food for our furbaby. Highly recommended!

La segunda vez quedó aquí después de 6 meses porque estaba muy satisfecho durante mi primera estancia. En general, es muy limpio, excepto que encontré muchas bandas de pelo en el tapiz (que no pertenecen a mí). La limpieza de la habitación de la 3ª noche se hizo a las 8:00, lo que es muy tarde. El personal es muy amable Muchas opciones de comida cerca si toma un agarre Bonitos cafés abajo las escaleras Mi amigo disfrutó de la arca que abrió hasta medianoche.

El hotel es un hotel muy agradable, muy valioso para el dinero, buenas opciones de desayuno, agradable piscina. No obstante, tengo una sugerencia: quería una habitación de cama real sin fumadores y todas las habitaciones deluxe estaban ocupadas, pregunté si la cama doble podía ser puesta juntos pero habría sido feliz de pagar más para la mejora a ejecutivo pero no se ofreció.

It was a wonderful stay and a perfect start to our honeymoon. The hotel made the experience extra special with a beautiful towel decoration, a congratulatory cake, and lovely mirror decorations in the room. We also needed to print quite a number of documents, and most of the printing was provided complimentary, which was very kind and greatly appreciated. The room amenities were excellent, with good-quality shower gel, conditioner, shampoo, and other essentials provided in generous quantities. The room was cleaned thoroughly, and the housekeeping team did a great job throughout our stay. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and had a memorable experience.

Hotel is old, but okay clean - mostly clean but details no. Especially for the towels, it “looks” dirty. I changed towels two to three times, two new towels every time but somehow at least half of time, the towels have black or yellow sports. I believe the towels are cleaned but very very old towels that they can’t get the marks off…sometimes the bed sheets also has marks. Tooth brush is so hard…unless you usually use the hard one.At the beginning, the hot water was not hot at all (kinda cold), but hotel fix it after reporting, so service wise was okay. Breakfast is a bit pricy but good and with diversity. If you regularly eat breakfast and eat decent amount, then it’s good to have breakfast included. Gym is great! Very complete unlike a lot of hotels. Pools area is good too, having a few locations and sizes (mostly quite big). But sometimes with a lot of leaves floating on top of water. P.s I even think the pool towels are cleaner than the room ones. Location-wise, quite good I suppose. Many malls and restaurants around the area and nice supermarket as well. Just hotel has a big parking lot and land, so if you gonna go around by foot, it might take a bit of time depending on how fast you walk(?) 

This luxurious hotel located at anyer area, the beach area located across the hotel we need to used the shuttle provided from the hotel to the beach and car park. The shuttle going back and forth from one location to other, so we need not wait too long. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the bathroom also clean with complete amenities. There's coffee machine ready to used and coffee capsules. The staffs are very helpful from the first time we arrived and during our stays. The swimming pool and kids play area is very nice, the spa, the gym and also the shops. The restaurant ready to prepare our order and the food are delicious, we also stays to have lunch before we leave. Overall very nice stay during our vacation, very pleased with the food and services.

A pesar de que en un principio tengo dificultades para ingresar porque mi mensaje a través de las aplicaciones no respondió rápidamente cuando llegué al apartamento, pero finalmente puedo llamar al propietario. Así que, le sugiero que quiera reservar este lugar, también se acerque activamente al propietario a través del número de teléfono mencionado en las aplicaciones para un proceso suave. El propietario era tan amable e informativo. Podemos preguntarle algo. Fácil de comprobar, deje la llave dentro de la unidad y el propietario la recogerá más tarde. Además, ya que este lugar tiene muchos restaurantes y tiendas de conveniencia a lo largo del edificio, no hay necesidad de preocuparse por el hambre en medio de la noche. Gracias por la conveniencia y definitivamente volveremos a este lugar por otro alojamiento con mis amigos.

The only reason anyone would want to stay here is the fact that it's very close to the airport. I stayed at this hotel after nearly 15 years. The property does not seem to have aged very well over the years. While the staff were very attentive, check-in was efficient, airport shuttle driver messaged on WhatsApp that he was waiting to pick me up, breakfast spread and service was good. But on the downside the room stay was far from comfortable. Rooms and furniture look old and dated. The waking passages to the room have flooring in poor condition - broken and uneven in places. The room had a very bad musty smell that did not go away even with the AC on. The AC duct placement is not good - it points straight at the bed so you have cold air blowing straight at you - not comfortable. And lastly the (so called garden view) room that I was allocated was in a really bad location. It had a road running beside it and beyond that one of the airport tarmacs. All night you could hear loud noises of passing trucks or small motorbikes and every hour or so if an aircraft rolled by there was this loud rumble and whine of heavy duty aircraft engines running as the plane slowly made it's way across. If you see the attached picture the circle on the left is the hotel property and the circle on the right shows an aircraft that passes by along one side of the hotel property that can be heard rather loudly in rooms facing that side. And in the middle passes a road with trucks and small motor bikes passing all night. Not a good location at all if your room faces that way with non-insulated thin glass windows. Next time if needed I will venture staying at another airport hotel property not too far away.

Service was great all around, location cannot be beat if you have an event at ICE, literally just a stone’s throw away, very convenient if you’re in Jakarta for that purpose. Room cleanliness can be improved though, there was a smell of undried laundry and even had a bug visitor one night!! But location really cannot be beat, that convenience alone was worth staying there. Shuttle service available to nearby mall as well!
