Reseña del NYX Esperia Palace Athens: una estancia de lujo con algunas salvedades Nos alojamos en el NYX Esperia Palace Athens durante cuatro días completos: dos parejas, cada una en una suite ejecutiva con acceso al salón de negocios. La bienvenida fue cálida y eficiente, y nos entregaron nuestras habitaciones exactamente a las 15:00, según la política del hotel. Las suites estaban limpias, elegantes y bien equipadas con artículos de aseo como cepillos de dientes desechables, kits de afeitado, esponjas vegetales, secador de pelo y más. Una de nuestras suites, ubicada en la séptima planta, incluso tenía vista parcial a la Acrópolis, lo cual fue una ventaja encantadora. La climatización, la iluminación y las cortinas de la habitación se controlaban mediante controles digitales, diseñados para mimar a los huéspedes; aunque, en la práctica, no eran muy intuitivos y requerían un poco de ensayo y error. Por ejemplo, apagar la luz de la mesilla de noche requería levantarse y caminar hasta un panel de control. El televisor incluía canales israelíes (11, 12 y 13), lo cual agradecimos. El desayuno en la décima planta fue excelente, con una amplia variedad de opciones de alta calidad, y el servicio de camareros estuvo por encima de la media. Uno de los aspectos más destacados de nuestra estancia fue la excepcional atención de Ilia, la directora de Relaciones Públicas del hotel. Nos guió prácticamente desde nuestra llegada hasta nuestra salida: nos recomendó excelentes tabernas, nos reservó taxis, restaurantes y nos organizó una visita guiada privada. En nuestro último día, Dionysia, encantadora y atenta, también nos recibió cálidamente en el salón. Dicho esto, hubo algunos inconvenientes: El servicio de recepción fue irregular: no todos los miembros del personal fueron amables; algunos parecían fríos o esbozaban sonrisas forzadas. El salón de negocios fue decepcionante: pequeño, abarrotado, con una oferta de comida y bebida modesta y asientos poco inspiradores. Parecía más una sala remodelada que un salón propiamente dicho. Las piscinas requieren reserva previa, sin espacio para la espontaneidad. El horario de uso está segmentado (por ejemplo, de 13:00 a 16:00 o de 16:00 a 19:00), y las plazas después de las 19:00 son muy limitadas. La zona de la piscina de la azotea está abarrotada, y el restaurante contiguo también está abierto a personas que no son huéspedes. Experiencia en un restaurante de la azotea: Una noche, volvimos de una noche de fiesta y esperábamos disfrutar de una copa con vistas. Aunque había dos mesas disponibles en primera fila con vistas a la Acrópolis, al principio nos dijeron que estaban reservadas. Minutos después, nos informaron que podíamos sentarnos allí con un gasto mínimo de 25 € por persona. El cambio repentino de ”reservado” a ”disponible por un precio” fue desagradable, especialmente para los huéspedes del hotel que se alojan en suites. La visita guiada recomendada por el hotel implicaba casi 4 horas de coche en un trayecto de 5 horas, lo que nos dejaba con muy poco tiempo en cada parada. Sugerimos omitirla. En resumen: El hotel es moderno, muy limpio y las suites son lujosas. El servicio es excelente en general, especialmente gracias a Ilia y Dionysia. Sin embargo, no cuente con acceso improvisado a la piscina o al restaurante de la azotea; disfrutar de ellos requiere planificación previa, como reservar una obra de teatro. Si valora las suites bien diseñadas y las experiencias estructuradas, este hotel puede ser ideal. Si busca flexibilidad y mimarse durante todo el día en las instalaciones del hotel, podría resultarle un poco limitado.

Viajé a Atenas por negocios. La habitación estaba en el centro, era espaciosa y estaba cerca de cafeterías y restaurantes. Ofrece aparcamiento de pago justo al lado, así que no hay que buscar sitio. El servicio fue excelente y el personal muy amable. ¡Sin duda volvería a elegirlo!

This place is quite unusual. My room was upgraded so that I had a suite over two floors, with a small private pool on another lower level. Absolutely every convenience had been considered, some extras might verge on overkill (bog roll tied up with a ribbon for example). The room looked amazing on first inspection, but I quite quickly realised the smell of the pool was so strong it stung my eyes, and the sound of the ventilation unit was quite a roar. There was only one small openable window on the mezzanine level next to the bed and I had to sleep with that open as wide as possible. Bed was extremely comfortable, I had to turn off the pool ventilator unit in the middle of the night because it kept waking me up, but once I had done that and the smell of baking bread entered the room from a bakery down the road I slept like a log. Staff were really nice and friendly, but they are working with quite difficult circumstances and perhaps unnecessarily. The kitchen is on the bottom floor and breakfast is served on the 5th floor roof (from which you can see the Parthenon) breakfast is a little awkward as you get a huge wicker basket 🧺 full of food plus crepes, plus omelette, plus tuna sandwich, a whole baguette (some more little ribbons), and I am not sure anyone can eat as much as is provided, and the server had to keep travelling up and down in the one person elevator. Probably would be better to ask guests what they would like to have for breakfast out of the options available and have a coffee/tea station upstairs. There is the option to take lunch in your room - for which the picnic basket concept makes a lot more sense. Seems like there should be a way to make the place feel more efficient and common sensible. I did get the feeling that they might have only just opened and are finding their feet, so I hope this review will be useful - certainly was a generous accommodation and staff are working very hard to make sure guests have the best possible experience.

1. Love it clean, quiet, quiant, side view of sea and port or small marina (can't tell at night because we checked in late night and left very early the next morning). But lovely. Wish had time to walk. 2. Clean room. 3. When we arrived and saw the dinner buffet which looked good, regretted not getting the half board. But we ordered from their restaurant a la carte menu and it was delicious! 4. One thing to improve is to cover the light on the aircon and the light on the TV, we could find no way to switch off the TV. We are light sleepers so the light which may not disturb others disturbed us a little bit but we put black tape over the TV but could not climb high up to aircon. 5. Too bad we did not have time to use gym or have breakfast there - another regret but front desk Evi helped arrange a breakfast bag for us to take away. If you're checking out early like us, ask for breakfast bags to take away and they gladly oblige. However, food in the breakfast bag is not as nice as having breakfast in the hotel :( I saw none of the items reviewers talked about but I told myself it is ok because they packed before breakfast hours. To get our money's worth, I must eat their breakfast in future.

La habitación que reservé en Ctrip era relativamente pequeña y estaba en un edificio antiguo. Posteriormente renovamos nuestra reserva en el hotel por una habitación más grande. Este hotel tiene una larga historia y es bastante famoso en Yadi. Sin embargo, debido a que está en el área urbana, el ambiente circundante no es bueno y es relativamente peligroso, según los lugareños, aquí a menudo hay personas sin hogar, refugiados e inmigrantes. Por eso son frecuentes los robos y hurtos de dinero. Tenga cuidado al salir, pero dentro del hotel es seguro.

7.5/10 Location: Outside of “central” Athens but easily connected by metro & buses. Kifisia is gorgeous, safe, filled with high end boutiques, restaurants + cafes. Room/Ambience: Hotel itself is stunning + very relaxing vibe. Decor details incredible as expected of a boutique hotel of this nature.  Food: Very good selection of hot + cold, plus actual barista coffee. Do not expect American style breakfast - this is Europe after all. We did not eat lunch or dinner but the menus looked great and was filled with locals in the evening. Service: Although reception staff were sufficiently friendly, service very lacking for a high end boutique hotel. It was 26 degrees celsius every day while in Athens. Not prior to our stay, nor during check-in did anyone advise us that the pool was closed likely until end of May. This is not advertised on any booking platform, or on the hotel website, which was very disappointing. We sat in the pool lounge chairs for over two hours (staff saw us as the restaurant is immediately adjacent). Nobody offered us pool towels to lie on, or if we wanted to order any drinks or food. My partner had to get dressed, go to reception and ask. They didn’t even offer to clean the pool given the hot weather made it ready for use. It really put a downer on our stay, and why we opted not to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. Similar experience at breakfast; nobody offered us coffee orders, we heard someone else order and realised it was available.

Athens Airport has long been my gateway between Ireland and Israel, and Sofitel is the only real comfortable option for an overnight layover. The location is unbeatable — you just walk out of the terminal, cross three zebra crossings, and you’re in the lobby. The hotel is definitely 5-star and feels it in cleanliness and comfort. The room was spotless and quiet, and I appreciated the complimentary coffee and water. However, prices are steep. Normally it’s around €400 per night for two adults and a child, though I managed to book midweek for about half that. Still expensive, but I wanted comfort — and got it. The booking didn’t clearly confirm if an extra bed was included for my child, and neither Trip nor the hotel replied to my message, though we did get the bed in the end without extra charge. Breakfast is not included in the high price, and €30 per person felt excessive, so we skipped it. Also, food options are overpriced — €22 for a “Greek salad” that oddly came with ricotta. We ended up getting Burger King from the terminal, much better value. The indoor pool was clean but the water was colder than expected and the size modest. The shower had fluctuating warm water, a small annoyance but tolerable for one night. Overall: great convenience and comfort for an airport hotel, but pricing for food and extras feels unreasonable.

Una estancia decepcionante En primer lugar, los empleados cobraron repetidamente la tarifa de la habitación y dieron descripciones inconsistentes del dinero (¡afortunadamente, el servicio de atención al cliente de Ctrip se comunicó activamente y lo elogió!). En segundo lugar, las instalaciones de la habitación no eran muy nuevas y la limpieza era normal (como se muestra en la Imagen). Al comunic**** con el hotel sobre los temas anteriores, la actitud del personal del hotel es generalmente después de enoj****. Solo con la actitud de resolver el problema, le regalé el desayuno. Deberíamos centrarnos en elogiar el servicio al cliente de Ctrip por ser muy eficiente, resolver problemas activamente y reembolsar impuestos y tarifas.

La habitación de la habitación era muy agradable. La habitación es muy buena, pero no es muy buena, pero no es muy buena. La habitación de estacionamiento es muy buena, pero no es muy fácil. La primera vez que me encontré con el coche, me encontré con la llave. En el centro de Atenas y a la noche incluso de esta equipo de estacionamiento. como un fallo completo en tantas plantas. El sistema de calefacción siempre está en las habitaciones que hacen ruido enorme, también la piscina abajo tiene máquinas locas que hacen todo el sonido de la noche. ¡Me alegro de encontrar otro hotel hermoso alrededor del rincón tranquilo y excelente servicio!!!! Sólo no quedarse allí, no es bueno. Incluso la zona de piscina es una broma y no hay jacuzzi en invierno en el techo, no vale la pena visitar!

Heerlijk hotel met veel vertier rond om van restaurant bar en een openlucht bisoscoop! Wij hebben in de avond in het restaurant in het Hotel gegeten. Het was superlekker en het was prachtig uitzicht op de Acropolis. De stad was super vriendelijk en alles was echt perfect. Echt een aanrader als je in Athene verblijft.
