Lauren fue sorprendente - nos encontró una habitación que podíamos comprobar a las 7:00 cuando nuestro vuelo fue cancelado un par de horas antes. Lauren incluso imprimió nuestros pases de embarque para nosotros. La habitación era pequeña pero muy bien, no había cocinas extras. La ducha de baño era hermosa - muy poderosa :) Air con dijo 18 grados pero no estoy seguro que fue muy cool. La ubicación es excelente y gran valor por dinero. Aún, kudos a Lauren! Recuerda - no hay restaurante en el sitio, sino PLENTA de opciones en la puerta!

El hotel está situado en el centro de la ciudad y en el centro de la ciudad, a un paseo de 5-10 minutos a pie de Cardiff Bay, y a un paseo de 15-20 minutos a pie de Cardiff Bay. Sin embargo, durante mi estancia, la piscina fue cerrada para la renovación, uno de los ascensores estaba fuera de servicio y parecía que había un gran número de invitados de largo plazo que requieren guardias de seguridad en el lugar a la noche además de tener que cerrar en su tiempo de desayuno Antes del calendario.

I stayed here for a business trip for one week. The room seemed to be clean but it is so dark that you can’t really tell if it is clean or not. That’s actually an issue - the lightening is bad. I couldn’t really work in the room since it had only a yellow ambient lightening and not a normal main source of light. The bathroom can be slightly cold if you don’t leave the door open so that warm air from the A/C can enter. It is shameful that they don’t have a breakfast included, especially for long stays in the hotel which is not so cheap and out of the center… at least one small sandwich would make things better, but nop 👎🏼. Another thing is that the area is not very nice. Unless you have to do something in that area, i don’t recommend you to stay. I was even told by taxi drivers to not walk around alone after it gets dark. Before I knew that, I did take a walk and it really felt a bit unsafe. The staff was ok, I didn’t have much contact with them. Only had an incident when I arrived - they couldn’t find me in their system (it was booked under other name by mistake but I actually changed it a week before arrival so I don’t know why they didn’t have updated information). There is a small gym, but almost all machines, except one, are for cardio exercises. Almost no restaurants or shops in the area.

The hotel was lovely and clean and the room was just what we needed after a long day of travelling. It would have been nicer if we had a bath In the room but that is just personal preference. It was clean and tidy and we had tea and coffee making facilities in the room. We were only a twenty minute walk from town a perfect distance to walk into town and walk back safely the route is well lit and pretty straight forward. The breakfast was fantastic and it is served overlooking the bay so a lovely morning view. The breakfast was buffet and we had multiple trips up and down to enjoy all the food. Our favourite was the pancake machine with the strawberry jam it was delicious.

We stayed at the Hilton Cardiff for four days at the end of March 2023. We really enjoyed our stay! The people at reception made us feel very welcomed, and couldn’t have been nicer! ALL of the people who work here were extremely friendly and helpful. We wanted to give a special thank you to Mark, the night manager. He was always cheerful - at the beginning AND at the end of his shift in the morning, which is not easy! He even kindly got us a bucket of ice very early one morning when my wife hurt her knee as she was stepping out of bed and the bed rolled away from her. We spoke to Mark about the incident, and hopefully, by now, they have fixed the “rolling coasters with no brakes on the box springs” problem. Mark was so kind and concerned about her fall that he checked on her twice - right after the incident and even the next day, which was the last day of our stay. The breakfast buffet had an excellent variety of hot and cold food offerings and was maintained to perfection by the attentive and efficient staff! The buffet was hosted by Bassam, who was very personable and interesting to talk with. The executive lounge was lovely, with beverages and a few snacks available throughout the day. There is an evening manager’s reception and some savory finger foods were offered each night. Our room had a stunning view of Cardiff Castle and the castle grounds! We would happily return to Hilton Cardiff, and we thank them for making our stay really memorable and pleasant. As a side note, we took the Cardiff Castle Ghost Tour and highly recommend it! It’s great to be able to tour the castle at night, and the two hosts were full of fun facts and historical information about the beautiful and “over the top” decor of the castle!

I arrived at the hotel late, close to 9pm, in the pouring rain, walking over from the train station with bags on cobblestone streets. On Google maps, the distance looks manageable but in wet weather and the dark, I had second thoughts. Nonetheless, the service and room standards made up for everything. They managed to fix me a room service dinner past 10pm, and it was really good lamb shanks on mashed potatoes. The bed was comfortable, the sheets were clean and I just sank into the best sleep of my whole work trip. The hot water pressure was strong. I went down for a super early breakfast the next morning, and the service staff at the breakfast stations were super friendly. The spread was a veritable feast, and they explained what black pudding was - I actually enjoyed it. There were vegetarian options available and the coffee machine dispensed really good cappuccino. One thing to mention was the wifi in the room. I had to do a business video call for an hour and I lost connection twice. I suppose the bandwidth was not designed for long video calls, so guests may want to prepare back-up connection if they need internet for work.

Si llegas al hotel en auto, el ingreso es raro porque entras por la parte de atrás en donde se encierran los containers de basura. Esto es porque el hotel da a la peatonal y no hay ingreso de vehículos por allí. La recepción está ubicada en el medio de un arcade (galeria) y el ingreso a las habitaciones es por la misma galería pero al fondo. Al breakfast se accede tanto por la galería como por dentro del mismo edificio que está todo comunicado. Las habitaciones están muy bien. Limpieza muy bien. Tiene enchufes de dos patas redonda (tipo C o F) como en el resto de Europa. Aparte de las inglesas (tipo G) El desayuno muy bueno. Hay de todo y te hacen todo en el momento. Lo básico es self service pero el resto lo ordenas en el momento. El personal muy amable y súper dispuesto. Al estar dentro de in arcade sobre la peatonal estás cerca de todo. Está ubicado enfrente del shopping más importante David’s Dewi Sant. Definitivamente lo volvería a elegir.

High price - especially when you have to pay for your overnight parking (I paid £17.00) and then if you want to have a swim it'll cost you another tenner! Cheeky buggers. Staff very pleasant and our room, although a bit 'tired' was spacious and light with a super comfy bed. Restaurant - staff again very pleasant but I was rather confused about my dinner wich consisted on half a plate of saute potatoes, a chicken schnitzel and a large bowl of cherry tomatoes. That's it. Chicken cooked perfectly, saute potatoes weren't actually saute, just deep fried slices and what I was supposed to do with so many tomatoes I have no idea but it was a pretty boring dinner and I would recommend it.

No fue muy bueno, principalmente porque tenías conductores de taxi fuera de las cuerdas de la noche. La gente lucha y grita fuera del hotel. Además de la alarma de fuego se apaga a las 10:40pm. Tuve que comprobar hasta las 4:50 Tengo que atrapar un tren y no me quedé dormido hasta las 2:30 El hotel está muy bien situado junto a la estación central de Cardiff, y es perfecto para viajar por tren. Después de explicar mi estancia a la recepción, pedí una botella de agua para mis viajes y me fue dado el complimentario que realmente aprecié. El hotel está muy bien situado, pero el personal del hotel está muy bien situado.
