Tenía una reserva para tres noches en el hotel Pyramisa Isis Corniche. Al llegar, el hotel ha cambiado de nombre y pertenece a otra compañía; no me informaron. De allí llaman a este hotel y confirman la reserva en Pyramisa Island. Después de este cambio sin aviso previo, vamos al barquito que nos lleva en muy pocos minutos al hotel. Afortunadamente, el barquito va y viene continuamente, por lo que vas y vuelves sin estar sujeto a ningún horario. Nos alojan en el edificio principal, parece que es mejor que los edificios anexos. La habitación da a la parte posterior: al desierto, con un terraza grande donde contemplar tranquilamente unas puestas de sol increíbles. La habitación es muy amplia, con el baño reformado y en buenas condiciones. El desayuno se sirve en un gran comedor de la planta baja, se trata de un buffet muy amplio y muy variado, estupendo para quienes nos gusta comenzar el día con un desayuno fuerte. Las vistas del Nilo desde la cristalera al amanecer son muy bonitas. El hotel cuenta con piscinas, pero en invierno las temperaturas no son adecuadas y a mediodía estamos con las visitas, lógicamente. Hay salones donde pasar un rato, jardines, terrazas donde fumar y tomar algo; también hay restaurante, pero comí y cené en Asuán. La wifi en el hall iba bien, pero no en las habitaciones. Al ser los últimos días del año había muchos huéspedes, por lo que el personal no paraba. En todo momento se mostraron muy amables. Fui dos días a Abu Simbel, como no encontré habitaciones disponibles en el mismo hotel, reservé en otro de Asuán para la vuelta. Aquí guardaron las maletas hasta la vuelta de Abu Simbel, sin ningún problema. Se ve un hotel grande, ideado para turismo familiar, al que la crisis ha afectado, como a todos los establecimientos en Egipto. Para mí, después de varias experiencias aquí y en otros países, Egipto es el destino ideal para las Navidades, si no optas por la nieve y el frío.

Me hospede 3 noches en este hotel y la verdad que todo resultó muy bien. Los días que tenía tour muy temprano preparaban un box lunch simple pero que cumplía y ya finalmente la última mañana pude desayunar con vista al Nilo. El establecimiento se encuentra a 100 metro de la Costanera y muy cerca de los mercados tanto de turistas como de locales. Lo único que por ahí se lamenta (y no es responsabilidad del hotel) es la falta de higiene en cercanías, sobre todo en la esquina que se ha formado un basural.

No lejos de la estación de tren (1km) y 400m de KFC (punto de transbordo). 2, habitación un poco vieja 3, no WiFi 4, desayuno es bueno. 5, La recepción casi no tiene pistas sobre la tour Abu Simbel. Exigente Servicio y Calidad de Todo su Personal Desafortunadamente sólo estuvimos 2 días y una noche, pero es un hotel para qued**** a disfrutar más días De aquí nos llevamos a la un maravilloso templo de Abu Simbel. Que alguien que venga. O puede dejar de visitarlo.

This hotel was definitely a step up from Pyramisa Isis Island, which was the worst place I have ever stayed in my life. The room was comfortable enough, the price was good, and there is a decent pool and a fabulous view of the Aswan Corniche. It was walking distance to the Nubian Museum and to the local McDonalds. As a tourist, you will get harassed constantly by the vendors as you walk, and it is very annoying. The food was not very good, but we found enough to eat. The shower was very weird and would go from unbelievably hot to cold. The worst part was that we were cheated by one of the male receptionists for a purchase at the Italian coffee shop in the lobby. He charged us 6 USD when the cost should have been under a dollar. Not a big deal for us to be charged 6 dollars for decent coffee, but it was the fact that he deliberately cheated us that really bothered me. I didn't throw a fit and let it go, and we just went to breakfast at McDonalds after that experience. The hotel lost money for that reason, as we certainly would have purchased many cups and coffee and pastries from them. Their loss. We also felt that one of their staff members was trying to scam us by asking (insisting) for change for a $20 US bill. The way he acted with us was very suspicious.

ES un hotel hermoso, lleno de historia. Muy bonito, localizado a orillas del Nilo. Una belleza. Tiene un servicio de comida malo, muy lento. Pero la gente es amable y de muy buen trato. No vayan a cenar al restaurante 1902, te exigen saco y zapato cerrado y la comida esta normal, aunque todo muy bonito.

Este pequeño hotel está en una pequeña aldea, que fue en febrero, seco y muy frío, el aire acondicionado puede refrigerar, el viento de la puerta es muy grande, la habitación es pantalla completa, más frío. La recepción Sara es más profesional y necesita encontrarla para preguntar, pero ella salió a trabajar a las 10 de la mañana. El hombre que es responsable del bar es muy infiable. El agua caliente que nos da no se lava, el agua que se lava es limpia, el agua que se lava es pura, la higiene alimentaria es totalmente infiable y se nos vende forzadamente dos botellas de agua, no tenemos nada, nos da directamente, Así que pensábamos que era el desayuno, finalmente nos mostramos el cuadro de precios, nos preguntamos por dinero, dije que no nos dijiste que no lo hiciera. ¡La primera estación de Aspino es muy mala!

This hotel is one of those ”5-star hotels” in the city, and it offers nice views of the Nile River, and on top of that, they also own the other side of thstreet through an underground passageway. That was actually interesting to see. The pool was pretty cold and a welcome relief for the sweltering heat during our stay in Aswan, in the mid-40s! The staff helped us assist in our luggage and did not ask for tips afterwards. Finally! Professionalism right there! The breakfast was of great quality and also offers a nice view of the river. The breakfast room has an outdoor balcony seating if you want that fresh Sahara air! One downside though was that the washroom was pretty dated and you can tell by how old the door was due to repeated exposure from humidity. Also, their spa is not free unlike my hotel in Cairo. The staff were initially excited that we went there to have fun, she even turned on the music to set the mood, only to find out that the service was paid and we all rushed out of there. Haha that was funny!
