Our stay at Landison Longjing Resort Hangzhou was so memorable and absolutely magnificent that highlights remain sharp, vivid, and immensely uplifting. As tea lovers, it would have been lovely enough to be back in deciduous forests with bursting red maples and bright yellow Ginko trees accentuating autumn colors surrounding the beautifully manicured Longjing (Dragon Well) tea plantations that rest quietly within the hills of the peaceful landscape so very close to the resort—next to and just across the street, in fact! However, our trip’s joys skyrocketed with our stay at the Landison. The staff was totally fantastic! Exceptional service in every way. Working with a phone translator Tracy, Brandy, Wen Yi (I hope his name is spelled correctly!), and Chris provided patient, attentive, and thorough care, concern, and heartwarming attention as they fully considered and answered our many daily questions on where to go, what to do, how to get there and back. (We were thrilled to use the excellent public transportation in and around Hangzhou. The hotel is just meters from the bus stop of two main lines. These buses provided easy connections to other main lines linking us to much of the rest of the city) Staff also guided us where to buy excellent tea, which turned out to be right there at the hotel, as well as from other lovely teashops nearby! Landison’s breakfast menu, included in our booking, remained the same throughout our stay and never disappointed. Every day we enjoyed a large selection of beautiful, delicious food that included fresh fruit, vegetables, egg dishes of differing styles, rice, dim sum, pastries, and our go-to each day: a piping hot bowl of noodles, prepared to order by the chef standing behind the varied selection of noodles and fixings! There was so much fresh, delicious, interesting, vegetarian cuisine we can’t account for the entire extensive buffet. The dining staff was totally incredible with their refined, careful, complete attention. Dining Room Manager Xu became our dear, memorable friend, offering us sweet, caring personal attention and comfort throughout our visit. We couldn’t help feeling disappointed when we didn’t see her the day before we were to leave. When we returned to the hotel for the evening and saw her through a dining room window, we popped into the area to say hello and a magical connection manifested that only world travel can provide, when the distance between two vastly different cultures disappears under the glow of human kindness, warmth, and connection. She provided such outstanding delight for us that our hearts hurt when we had to say goodbye to her. When she translated on her mobile phone, “looking forward to seeing you again,” we smiled broadly and added a very hopeful nod in agreement. Extra lovely perks included nightly delivery of a delicate, nourishing white mushroom soup to keep us warm and help us sleep, a specialty of the establishment. It was tasty and nurturing every day! The housekeeping staff was amiable and friendly, mutually acknowledging and appreciating the human relationship!  In addition, the parking area staff offered cheerful, welcoming, and happy engagement with us throughout our stay. Our extraordinary stay at the Landison is the kind of experience that highlights the vast benefits of world travel where the barriers of worldly concerns and tensions can fade away or even disappear into the significant and transformative mix and engagement with a time and place different from where we come from or know habitually. Where one realizes that, although time and place may differ considerably and provide many positive catalysts for meaningful change, the human heart and mind are inextricably linked together by way of mutual desires for happiness, well-being, safety, expression, and connection, however that may unfold in its immeasurable arrangements. La ubicación del hotel es excelente, sales y cruzas la calle y ya estás en el Lago del Oeste. Si cenas en el restaurante de la azotea del hotel, también podrás disfrutar de las hermosas vistas al Lago del Oeste. En cuanto a lo demás, no tengo comentarios. Sin embargo, para viajar, alojarse cerca es sin duda más conveniente, especialmente cuando se viaja con personas mayores y niños.

Overall, this was a good stay with some truly special aspects, but also a few areas that could be improved. The hotel is quite remote, which makes it feel very private and peaceful, surrounded by nature such as the lake, forest, and mountains. Even though we visited other viewpoints around Qiandao Lake, this location felt more special because of its quiet and secluded setting. The hotel itself feels like a destination, with scenic viewpoints, a garden with a lake, a cave, and even trekking trails to explore. The garden area includes a swan lake, which is a nice idea. However, the swans are kept in a very small netted space. It does not look great visually and feels restrictive for the animals, which took away from the experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed that was not too soft or too hard. Sound insulation was excellent, which made for great sleep. I also requested a firmer pillow, and it was provided quickly. The lake view room upgrade was a highlight. The view was stunning and made it hard to leave the room. If you stay here, I would strongly recommend booking a lake view room. The layout was nice, with both a balcony and a window view. The thick frame dividing the view slightly affected the overall feel, but it was not a major issue. The bathtub was also a nice addition. Cleaning was good overall. The AC did not work very well during the hot midday hours, although it was fine at other times of the day. Facilities such as the gym, yoga room, pool, and game room were nice additions. However, they felt quite standard for a five-star hotel, and I have experienced better quality in similar properties. One great feature was the free Tesla charging, but this was not communicated at all. We only discovered it by chance, which is a missed opportunity as it is a strong benefit. Breakfast was acceptable but not at the expected level. The coffee and bakery were the weakest parts. Ordering is done via QR code instead of in person, which felt a bit impersonal for a luxury hotel atmosphere. Service during breakfast also felt a bit off, as staff seemed focused on their tasks and were not very proactive in guiding or prioritizing guests, which made the experience feel less warm and not the kindest. Service was generally kind and friendly, but inconsistent at times. Some staff could benefit from additional training, as not everyone followed typical five-star service standards such as greeting guests or offering priority. Another disappointment was the welcome fruit, which was included in our package but not provided on arrival. After we asked, a staff member came carrying items for multiple rooms in a bag and handed us just one apple and one peach. This felt unprofessional although something very small. Another point worth noting is that the hotel was originally booked as an InterContinental, but about 1-2 weeks before arrival it was no longer part of the brand (somehow on Trip.com it still says intercontinental). Not sure if this impacted the experience, but overall it did feel slightly below what you might expect from that level, even though the stay itself was still enjoyable. The hotel also offers free Tesla charging, which is a great feature. However, this was not communicated at all during or before our stay, and we only discovered it by chance. This feels like a missed opportunity, as it is a strong benefit that could add significant value for guests I did not try lunch or dinner, so I cannot comment on those. Overall, this is a very peaceful and unique stay with amazing natural surroundings and a beautiful lake view. However, some service and operational details need improvement to truly match a luxury standard.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, especially if you’re in town for a fair or exhibition, with plenty of shopping areas nearby. The room was clean and completely free of cigarette smell, which I really appreciated. Another thing I loved was the washing machine with an automatic drying function. It was extremely convenient, especially if you’re staying for several days, as you can wash and dry your clothes without having to go anywhere else. The staff were excellent — very welcoming, friendly, and polite. Their English was also very good, which made communication easy, and they were always happy to help throughout my stay. I was especially impressed by their professionalism and hospitality. The price was also very reasonable considering the location, facilities, service, and overall experience. Overall, I had a great stay here and was very impressed with both the hotel and the staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

這週末和姐妹從杭州過來一個多小時就到了，安吉來野山川裏，真的強推！藏在竹林深處，落地窗正對山谷，躺着就能看雲海，拍照自帶濾鏡，發朋友圈被問爆了。帶閨蜜來，晚上窩床上看電影，超愜意；情侶來更浪漫，對着山景吃頓竹林雞煲，鮮到跺腳，晚上還能看星星。食材都是山裡現摘現挖的，簡單炒都香。不管是朋友結伴還是二人世界，這兒都能待得住。真的很美下次還來！

This place is absolutely amazing! The hotel is extremely relaxing and peaceful, the food is delicious, with the breakfast being exceptional, and the spa area (sauna, steam, jacuzzi) is an absolute delight after a round of golf. As for the golf course, set amongst a tea plantation, it is stunning! For both hotel and golf course team, nothing was too much trouble, and a special mention goes to Lucy, front of house manager, who was attentive from first to last, and ensured my stay was very memorable. I will return!

A Comfortable, Pet-Friendly Stay with a Few Areas for Improvement The hotel can be difficult to identify when you first arrive because there is no sign directly on the building. Instead, the sign is attached to a gate that usually remains open, so it becomes partially folded and easy to miss. The hotel also does not have on-site parking. Guests park across the street at the restaurant where breakfast is served each morning. Breakfast was traditional Chinese and included steamed buns, sweet potato, a hard-boiled egg, watermelon, tea, and milk. Everything was very tasty. Coffee was also available, but it cost extra. The people looking after the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. When we arrived, they were filling the swimming pool after cleaning it and told us it would be ready later that day. Although the pool was one of the main reasons we booked the hotel, it did not quite meet our cleanliness standards because the deeper areas still appeared slightly cloudy. However, many other guests were comfortable using it, and we saw people enjoying the pool every day. The library area was absolutely gorgeous, but unfortunately, there was a strong smell of mildew that made it difficult to spend much time there. These were the main drawbacks of our stay. Our room, however, was lovely. It smelled fresh, the bed was firm and very comfortable, and the sheets were clean. The staff emptied the rubbish and replenished our drinking water every day. The bathroom products were high quality, and toothbrushes were provided upon arrival. The room would have been even better if there had been enough towels for everyone staying in it and if the water had been slightly hotter. The hotel is located directly beside the river, with access to a peaceful riverside walk through beautiful gardens. There is also an elevated walkway farther down the road that looked interesting, although we did not have the opportunity to explore it. The river area was especially relaxing, and if I return, I would bring folding chairs and a small folding table so we could sit in the shallow water, relax, and play games. Most attractions and restaurants are approximately a 20-minute drive from the hotel. The receptionist tried to help us with maps and itineraries. Unfortunately, even after attempting to find the same hike on three different days, we were unable to locate the trailhead. It seemed that even local residents were not very familiar with the exact route. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is that it is pet-friendly and does not charge an additional pet fee, which was an important reason we chose it. The gentleman at reception also helped us secure a dinner reservation at Naked Ranch, where we had a wonderful evening. Moganshan is a beautiful destination, and overall, this hotel provided a comfortable stay. There is certainly some room for improvement, but I would return because I slept incredibly well and appreciated the warm, helpful service. Thank you again to the staff for all their assistance.

Conduje desde Shanghái hasta Haining para cenar con mis amigos. Busqué en Ctrip y encontré el Hotel Hualuxe, que parecía prometedor. El hotel era realmente agradable, con amplio estacionamiento y garaje subterráneo. La recepcionista, Xiao Guo, fue muy profesional y atenta. Antes de irme, hice la reserva con prisas y no me di cuenta de que el desayuno no estaba incluido. Se lo expliqué durante el check-in y me ayudó a solicitarlo y lo solucionó.
