Without a doubt, staying at the Kimpton Taipei was the best decision we made during our trip. The location is fantastic, just a couple of blocks from the MRT, making it incredibly easy to explore the city. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional service. The level of hospitality feels more like that of an even higher-end luxury hotel. Every member of the team was consistently warm, professional, genuinely caring, and always ready to help with anything we needed. We arrived after almost 24 hours of continuous travel, completely exhausted, and the staff went above and beyond to prepare the first available room for us so we could rest as soon as possible. That thoughtful gesture made all the difference and was something we’ll always remember. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with stylish interiors, incredibly comfortable rooms, and a wonderful atmosphere. We especially loved the complimentary afternoon wine and snacks, which were the perfect way to unwind after a full day of sightseeing. Even the little morning touches before breakfast made us feel incredibly well looked after. What impressed us most is that the team never settles for simply meeting expectations—they consistently go the extra mile in every interaction. We would return to Kimpton Taipei without hesitation, and it will absolutely be our first choice the next time we visit Taipei. Highly recommended.

El dueño fue increíblemente amable y nos brindó un servicio excepcional. ¡Incluso nos ayudaron a alquilar patinetes eléctricos antes de llegar a Kinmen! La primera noche, nos entretuvimos tanto explorando Kinmen que perdimos la noción del tiempo y no llegamos hasta las 9:30 p. m. El dueño nos esperó todo el tiempo; ¡nos sentimos un poco mal por eso! ¡Nos quedamos dos días! El dueño nos preparó desayunos diferentes cada noche, un detalle muy considerado. Además, eran platos típicos de la zona, que pudimos disfrutar en nuestra casa de huéspedes sin tener que buscarlos. ¡Y el café americano helado del dueño estaba riquísimo! ¡Lo recomiendo muchísimo!

Los hoteles más tradicionales se centran en ofrecer comida de tarde, noche de noche y desayuno, por lo que el valor de cp es muy alto. Aunque las instalaciones del antiguo hotel son antiguas, la piscina de caliente es muy limpia y no puede ver el viejo sentido del humor, la televisión es nueva y la habitación es muy limpia y no tiene sabor.

位置離礁溪火車站步行約7-10分鐘的距離，就在蘇澳市區前往南方澳的路上，若搭乘當地的公車非常方便，站名「蘇澳港」～上下車的站牌就在飯店樓下和馬路對面。舊飯店但有整修過，整體上房間空間寬敞明亮，我們住的是四人房，窗戶大採光好，房間冷氣爲獨立空調，效能很不錯又無噪音。浴室雖然不大，也沒有浴缸（媽媽喜歡泡澡），但淋浴時水壓夠大，水溫調節也適中，使用完也算乾燥快速，感覺很不錯。訂的房型有附自助早餐，雖然種類不多，但都挺好吃的，這次吃早齋的媽媽姐姐對於這早餐都很滿意，先前同遊時吃飯店早餐都很傷腦筋～這次反而可以放心吃飽飽呢。還有用餐的「日出食堂」在9樓，早年飯店爲克服冬天港口強風肆虐用了昂貴的強化玻璃建造了大型玻璃窗讓住客能一邊進食一邊欣賞風景，現今也讓我們得以在用餐時好好欣賞港區的綺麗風景～善哉！ 對該飯店比較不滿意的有兩點：第一點，內的WIFI訊號不好，最多就兩格，這點是可改善的，希望飯店可以改進一下。第二點，個人覺得飯店的安全措施是有疑慮的，Check in的服務台是位在一樓的一個小房間裡，電梯則是在房間的外面，無任何空調、所在位置相信連櫃檯都無法看見有什麼人員進出，這點其實對住宿的旅客的安全來講，是需要有些警惕的，若有可疑人士伺機搭電梯入內行事，這安全問題就很需要檢討了，若是入住的住客Check in時可以使用房卡順道連電梯一起解鎖，那安全措施就更完善了。

Not recommended if you bring an elderly or if you have weak legs/knees as the location required you to take too many stairs. No elevator. To be fair, many accommodation near jiufen street is situated around the hill anyway. It’s good for your quick getaway from Taipei for a night or two and they have very nice rooftop for you to chill. Overall, i’d still recommend this place due to it’s affordable, clean and near jiufen street. If possible, do not bring a luggage and take backpack instead for less hassle.

I loved my stay at Slack BnB. It is easy to find in the village.The facilities are very clean, everything is well-planned and guests have a lot of opportunities to rest. Very cosy Dorms with built-in Beds, which have a good quality. The guests are very respectful and quiet. There is a kitchen to provide food, slacklines in the garden, lots of space to hang out and a Beamer where you can watch YouTube etc. The staff is very motivated to keep everything clean, this can be seen in various facets. The staff and the owner are so helpful which I appreciated much. I can definitely recommend this hostel to everybody when visiting the island.

No estábamos del todo satisfechos con la habitación inicial, pero tras hablarlo en recepción, nos ofrecieron otros tipos de habitación. Al final elegimos una que nos gustó más, y el servicio fue excelente. Incluso nos proporcionaron una bomba de aire. En general, estuvo bastante bien. La desventaja es que el precio cada vez es más alto; no es de extrañar que la gente prefiera gastar tanto en viajes internacionales y menos en viajes nacionales.
