I arrived in pouring rain. I thought I could walk to my hotel but it was impossible in the downpour. I didn’t want to bother any hotel owner.   I didn’t and still don’t  have an eSIM that can make local  call but thanks to Trip.com, there is a link that I could call the owner for free.  I didn’t advise the owners my arrival time so they were off running errands.  I called the owner to pick me up and thankfully he answered. He was busy but gracious enough to turn around and picked me up. It knew Zhouhuang requires a ticket but I didn’t know that no cars, nor motorcycles, nor bicycles are allowed. Without him I would have arrived the hotel easily.  I always like to meet the owners instead of employees . They were very helpful and answered all my questions. They are honest people who dedicate their  blood and sweat to their business. The owner even offered to walk me to the bus stop  to Suzhou which was my next destination.  This  operates two hotels with 9 in one and 6 in the other. The one that I stayed in with 9 rooms is in a  lively and busy area . Just outside the hotel is a restaurant and there are plenty of places to eat. Inside the hotel is a peaceful oasis where you won’t hear any noise. The location is the best. The other hotel is in a quieter neighborhood a few minutes away. Each of the 15 rooms has it’s own personality, is different and has its distinctive decoration. The owners said they decorated them themselves. I love the decoration and especially the lighting.  After you reserve a room, be sure to contact the owner for the exact address in case you want to arrive on your own. I think it is best to request the owner to take you there because he/she will lead you to the ticket booth to buy tickets. There are a number of bridges so heavy big luggages can be a bit of a challenge .  If you arrive after 5 pm, you can enter free of charge as no one is there to check your ticket. . But once you are inside, and if you choose to leave the area after 8 or 9 am until 5 pm, you have to pay to come back in. You can buy a one day or in my case 3 days pass.  Do check with the owner for up to date information.  The room was quite clean. There were hot water all the time. There were other guests during my stay but they were not noisy at all. I barely heard them. I slept very well during my 3 nights there.  Zhouhuang is really beautiful. There are many canals, bridges, boat rides, good food of all kinds. I had some of the best meals there. In fact , I ate in the same restaurant that serves dumpling twice. One night I had grill (BBQ) meat just outside the entrance for 4 yuans. .  There is decent size supermarket just outside the turnstile and not too far away is a much bigger supermarket. It was there where I bought half a Peking duck for only 32 yuans . The seller sliced the meat and separated the meat from  the bones. The bones he fried so it was crunchy.  It was delicious. There is a theater that offers performances. The night view is great. If you step out your room, you will be overwhelmed in a good sense by the exciting surroundings.  This hotel definitely is one of the best that I have ever stayed in. Look at the beautiful pictures and find one that you like.  I stayed only 3 nights and one of those days I went to Tongli. In my opinion, one should spend at least 2 to 3 full days in  Zhouhuang (and especially this hotel ) savor the ambience. I don’t think Tongli is worth the time because it was twice as expensive and there are not that many canals and boat rides. It is much quieter and has fewer things to see. . The worst is that the sightseeing places require you to show your ticket. After 2 places, I lost mine ticket and I  couldn’t get in the rest of the places. It is unnecessary to require proof of entrance because you can’t enter the area without a ticket. 

Una habitación amplia e impresionante con una cama enorme y ventanas a ambos lados del edificio. Tiene balcón. Está justo en la calle peatonal principal, pero un poco apartada del barrio, así que la habitación era tranquila. Fue difícil de encontrar, pero contacté con el personal por WeChat y me ayudaron enseguida: me enviaron un vídeo y un código, y se mantuvieron en contacto hasta que llegué a la habitación. No hay recepción, así que el lugar es muy privado. Me alojaría allí de nuevo sin dudarlo. Lo único que no me gustó mucho fueron las toallas desechables. Pero solo me quedé una noche, así que no es para tanto.

Ubicado en un antiguo salón gremial de Lingnan, con más de un siglo de antigüedad, el hotel cuenta con un tranquilo y elegante patio ajardinado al estilo de Suzhou, con paredes blancas y azulejos grises, que ofrece un refugio único del bullicio de la ciudad. Cada rincón revela una escena pintoresca, perfecta para tomar fotos, con intrincados detalles que muestran la cultura del tejido de seda, creando una atmósfera verdaderamente envolvente. Su ubicación es inmejorable, justo al lado de la antigua calle Qili Shantang, lo que facilita enormemente las compras, la gastronomía, los paseos en barco y la visita al Pabellón de la Estela Imperial. También se encuentra a pocos pasos de otros jardines, como el Jardín del Administrador Humilde. Las habitaciones estaban limpias y ordenadas, con ropa de cama suave y cómoda, y las zonas húmedas y secas separadas estaban muy bien diseñadas. ¡Mención especial merece Xiao Liu en recepción! Fue atenta y considerada. A nuestra llegada en coche, nos ayudó proactivamente con el equipaje, nos recogió y nos dejó cómodamente durante todo el trayecto, e incluso nos ayudó a llevar las maletas al aparcamiento al hacer el check-out. El check-in fue rápido y eficiente. Nos recomendó con entusiasmo restaurantes auténticos de Suzhou en la calle Shantang, nos sugirió rutas turísticas y nos recordó amablemente los horarios de los barcos y las atracciones. Atendió con prontitud todas nuestras necesidades, ofreciéndonos un servicio cálido y atento sin ser intrusiva, lo que hizo que nuestra experiencia fuera excepcionalmente cómoda. El desayuno es auténtico de Suzhou y el ambiente es tranquilo y apacible. Después de pasear por la calle antigua, regresar al hotel para relajarse es especialmente terapéutico. Sin duda, es mi primera opción de alojamiento al visitar Suzhou. ¡Volveré a elegir Jiangnan Weaving Mansion la próxima vez!

Durante mi viaje a Suzhou, la mayor sorpresa fue alojarme en la habitación con vistas al jardín y al agua del Kimpton Bamboo Grove Hotel. La habitación tenía un balcón con vistas al jardín, y al abrir la puerta se podía ver el paisaje del jardín, con las sombras de los bambúes bailando y el sonido del agua fluyendo, como si toda la dulzura de Jiangnan estuviera contenida allí. Despertarse con el canto de los pájaros por la mañana, disfrutar del té en el balcón por la tarde y ver la puesta de sol reflejándose en el agua al anochecer, cada momento estaba lleno de poesía y tranquilidad. Me gustaría destacar especialmente a la mayordomo Cereza, cuyo servicio fue impecable y atento. Desde la comunicación antes del check-in hasta las diversas necesidades durante la estancia, respondió de manera oportuna y considerada. Ya sea ayudando a organizar el itinerario o resolviendo pequeños problemas imprevistos, me sentí increíblemente tranquilo y cálido. La habitación con vistas al jardín y al agua del Kimpton Bamboo Grove no es solo un lugar para quedarse, sino una experiencia de estilo de vida que permite encontrar un remanso de paz en medio del bullicio y sentir la comodidad y el confort de un hogar durante el viaje.

La habitación es muy limpia, limpia, el servicio del jefe también es bueno, super rentable! La próxima vez que venga, viviré aquí.

Buen hotel, ventajas: 1. Está muy cerca del Lago de Caimba y se acerca de la noche. 2. El servicio de personal de la recepción del hotel es muy bueno y muy entusiasta. Prestar herramientas de arenque gratuitas. También se lava la ropa y seca gratis para los niños. Una serie de frutas frescas y de buena calidad cada día. 6. El desayuno también es un buen trabajo para el personal, que debería ser el problema de elegir algunos platos y mejorar mejor la calidad de los platos. En realidad, el hardware también es bueno, principalmente en el ”software”, como la cara de la boca, se puede decir: la cara está bien, esto se hará en otros hoteles. No se llamó, y cuando me fui a buscar, la cara se volvió un poco más, lo único que necesitaba ser elevada.

Mi marido dijo que la fachada es muy antigua y que al entrar hay una fuerte sensación de contraste, hay un mundo único en el interior. El ambiente general del hotel es bueno, las habitaciones están una al lado de la otra, pero el efecto de aislamiento acústico es bueno. La propietaria enviará mensajes de texto cuidadosamente para recordarles a todos el tiempo de descanso y tener cuidado de no molestarse, es muy tranquilo. A 50 metros al lado de este hotel se encuentra mi propio restaurante, el ambiente del restaurante también es muy elegante, lo cual es muy bueno para un B&B. Fuera de la ventana, se pueden ver las fuertes características arquitectónicas de las dinastías Ming y Qing. Desayuno🈶 Los fideos Aozao gratis nos proporcionaron aderezos de verduras encurtidas y carne de cerdo desmenuzada, que era perfecto para la familia.

Está situado en pleno centro del casco antiguo, con fácil acceso a los restaurantes, tiendas y puentes por los que este pueblo fluvial es famoso. Los dueños fueron muy atentos conmigo. No les supuso ninguna molestia. Me acompañaron personalmente a la calle principal, a las afueras del casco antiguo, para solucionar un problema técnico con mi portátil y llevaron mi equipaje hasta la entrada del pueblo a mi partida. Gracias por su excelente servicio. Recomiendo sin duda su alojamiento.

This is a condo studio apartment. The location is good and convenient with shopping malls and restaurants around. You are spoilt for choices for food. On the apartment itself, the room is big and spacious. The service is remote through Wechat. If you need anything, you have to call or message your request so that the cleaning staff can bring to you the following day. The cleaning staff only works in the morning before 12pm. So any request after 12pm will have to be attended to the following morning. The lady boss is very patient and helpful on Wechat though. So it goes both ways for the guests to be patient with the staff as well. The heater storage tank is small so you have to take quick showers. Otherwise you will bathe with cold water in the later part of the long shower. The fridge is not very cold despite turning up the fan speed to the maximum.

Este viaje es con mis amigos, un grupo de viajeros muy exigentes con el alojamiento y con altas expectativas. Este hotel realmente superó todas las expectativas: tecnología de punta y excelentes servicios. Un ambiente agradable, muy recomendable.
