La unidad me envió a trabajar en Hangzhou y me dio un alojamiento en un hotel de Wanchao a dos kilómetros de la unidad. El hotel está muy atractivo y tiene un servicio intimidad 24 horas. Firstly the reason why my wife and I decided on this boutique hotel was to sample the overall standard of the new crop of small locally operated boutique hotels springing out over China. Generally happy with our choice and decision. We were greeted upon checking in and daily when we went out and coming back by the young man who was managing the establishment. A great personal touch was that he actually came out of his office and greeted us at the courtyard with a ready smile. Location was good as it was relatively near to Longmen Grotto and also the famous lamb soup for breakfast (we were given complimentary vouchers for our first day breakfast by the hotel. Although the place was across the road from the hotel, we had to walk about 1.1km each way as the crossing could only be made at the traffic light zebra crossing. One ”romantic” feeling my wife and I had was hearing the low rumbling of the freight train transversing across the hotel. It reminded us of staying in the English countryside and hearing the train in the distance. Light sleepers might find this distracting but we are h eavy sleepers. Another selling point of this hotel was the well manicured courtyard planted with lots of different varieties of flowering plants and trees. It was an excellent place for us to relax in the late afternoon after some heavy sightseeing. The only downside and hopefully the hotel operator can improve is that the floor of the room seems to be a bit dusty because the floor towel in the washroom started to show stains of dust. However, everything else is clean especially the important items like bedding and towels. Strawberries were bought after visiting Erlitou Archaeological Museum and Site

We stayed here for the weekend, when visited the Shaolin temple. The location is near the Shaolin and yet they organised transfer for us, which was very nice. The hotel is great, everything is clean and neat, the room service is fantastic, they welcome us with fruit and tea and biscuits. There you can order food, which is very convenient and delicious. There are massage chairs and tea. The staff is really friendly and helpful, they answered all our questions and helped a lot. All in all, great place, definitely want to come again 👍

La ubicación está muy cerca de la ciudad antigua de Luoyi, a menos de 5 minutos a pie. Firstly, as a foreigner, this type of accommodation is typically known as a micro hotel which has no visible signage indicating the venue. One has to rely on the goodness of passrbys to find the hotel. Secondly, the dingy reception desk was unmanned with not a soul in sight to enquire further. After a long wait, what appears to be the manager and his assistant arrives but continue to engage in their laundry duties rather than attending to their guest. Thirdly, the suite itself while very practical in Asian countries, is dusty and ranks with staleness and definitely not for foreigners by Western standards. The ablution area is squeezed into a less than 2sq meter area with a broken shower head virtually hanging over the toilet bowl. It's quite clear that the chrome work has not seen detergents applied to it in months. While this type of accommodations may be acceptable by local standards, it should be advertised as such with clear pictures showing the ablution areas. However, if ia guest's stay is measured by the satisfaction of their sleep, then I will admit that the bed itself scores a 8 out of 10. The mattress was indeed very good and firm. Will I return again, NO!
