Get this hotel!!! We were supposed to stay for a night and then decide what to do - we ended up staying 3 nights and were very sad to leave. Every so often when you travel your hotel experience significantly improved your holiday - this was one of those cases! First of all the basics, we were looking for a nice family friendly hotel walking distance from the beach - and this certainly fit that category. The rooms are fine, you could see the sea from the windows, comfortable beds, pretty clean, slippers, plenty of towels, wifi everywhere etc. There was also a small playground for small kids and hammocks (picture) etc which was cool, we also saw mahjong tables, but didn't have the time to play. The hotel is located near a fairly large field, filled with exotic birds, butterflies and crickets etc. There were also geckos everywhere (love them), but we didn't see any inside the room. There were some mosquitos outside on the terrace (don't love them), but the repellent took care of those and we didn't have any in our rooms. Felt like you were near nature, in a good way. The kids loved to play on the beach, it's great for sand castles (the hotel had buckets and shovels free of charge) and searching for crabs, fish, shells, sea snails etc... The moms loved it too, especially to walk around and explore during low tide. (the hotel also provided equipment to catch crabs and other sea creatures etc if you wanted to - they also had a service to cook them for you) We especially enjoyed playing under a nearby pier during low tide to avoid getting badly sunburned. The supermarket across the street sell dozens of single malt whiskys and beer from all over the world (they also have ice cream and other stuff) - and the dads recommend the roof terrace for that after the kids are asleep. (picture) If you know how to ride a scooter/ebike they rent them across the road too, and it's the best way to explore the island. The small roads (almost devoid of cars) were awesome to drive on, just remember to stay safe. I don't usually care much about breakfast, but the included breakfast was great! (picture) The kitchen staff was also super laid-back about the whole thing - this whole hotel radiated a very laid back tropical island feel that made you forget you were in China. However the reason I write this review is because of the owner. (last picture) (I'm not sure if he speaks English though, but I'm sure you'll manage) Super chill guy! Immediately after booking he contacted us to arrange the transport from the boat. He helped us buy tickets for the trip back. He was willing to come and pick us up at any time if we got lost on the island. He had great recommendations about basically everything, and whenever we made plans we were sure to ask for his advice. He was basically always reachable over wechat too. These are just some of the things that he didn't have to provide, but did (or offered): unlimited cold drinking water, ice, proper glasses, a coffee grinder, buckets, shovels, hats, umbrellas, sunscreen, aloe vera plants, flashlights, mosquito repellent etc etc and it feels like we only scratched the surface. It feels like whenever I asked him for something he always had a solution that exceeded my expectations. Great host! I've traveled to almost 100 countries and while this wasn't the fanciest hotel I've stayed in by any means, this was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I've ever had. If anyone I know plans to visit this island I will for sure recommend this place.

La habitación estaba recién reformada, con un estilo moderno. El dueño nos hizo un upgrade a una habitación grande y espaciosa, con fundas desechables para el inodoro, lo que demuestra su atención a los detalles. La ducha salía con agua muy caliente y el aire acondicionado funcionaba perfectamente. También se pueden alquilar scooters eléctricos, aunque al final no me atreví a usarla y me devolvieron el dinero del alquiler. El hotel está a poca distancia a pie después de bajar del barco en el río Li, y la calle principal West Street está a solo una manzana de distancia. Por la noche no hay ruido. En resumen, tiene una excelente relación calidad-precio y lo recomiendo.

La renovación es nueva, limpia y blanca. La habitación con tatami cuenta con un proyector, una ventana con vistas espectaculares, un inodoro inteligente, aparcamiento gratuito, lavadora y balcón en la azotea, lo que facilita el lavado de ropa. ¡Me alojaría aquí de nuevo la próxima vez!

I arrived in Guilin from Kunming late after 12 am and there is no tourist information counter staff at the airport to tell me where to wait for the hotel's airport transfer driver. Fortunately an airline check-in counter officer helped me call the hotel to find out where to wait for the driver. Please note wait for the driver next to the police kiosk after leaving Gate 6 of the domestic arrival terminal and crossing the lane. It took me 15 minutes to identify the driver because the driver did not show the placard showing the hotel name Shanshuiyunshang Hotel. The driver was impatiently waiting for a foreign tourist. So I identified myself as a Singaporean looking for the transfer driver of the hotel. He replied that I can follow him, who did not declare the hotel's name. Thank God he brought a group of tourists and me to Shanshuiyunshang Hotel to check-in. I also thank God that the driver escorts me to the Airport Flower Field, which is 569 metres away from the hotel, for plane-spotting, and I walk back to the hotel within 10 minutes to check-out of the hotel for my outgoing trip from Guilin after completing my plane-spotting mission. Other than the hotel airport transfer driver, there is the odour of smoke in the room but I have to bear with it until I leave and I cannot access the hotel wifi by scanning the QR code. The hotel restaurant is very small but dragonfruit is served and the breakfast amount is sufficient to fill my hunger. Shanshuiyunshang Hotel is one of several hotels along the road of Liangjiang Town that has accommodation for tourists but this hotel is the only one in Liangjiang Town to be listed on Trip.com. I will stay here again for the purpose of plane-spotting in Liangjiang Town, the famous airport town of Guangxi.

¡Qué grata sorpresa fue alojarse en Zhuchuang Xiyu esta vez en Yangshuo! El hotel está justo a la orilla del río Yulong, la ubicación es excelente, muy conveniente para visitar las atracciones cercanas y, a la vez, tranquilo y sin ruidos. El estilo general es de retiro zen, con un entorno sereno, rodeado de montañas verdes y aguas cristalinas; cualquier foto que tomes parece un cuadro. Lo que más recomiendo son sus tratamientos capilares y las terapias de meditación y拍 (pá), después de los cuales te sientes completamente relajado, el cansancio desaparece, es muy desestresante y confortable. El servicio es atento y detallado, fue un verdadero viaje de curación para el cuerpo y la mente. ¡La próxima vez que venga a Yangshuo, volveré a elegir este lugar!

Al alojarme en Ink Mountains and Rivers, me escondí entre las montañas y la naturaleza de la galería de diez millas. Al descorrer las cortinas, me encontré con cadenas montañosas ininterrumpidas y nubes que cubrían las cimas, ofreciendo un paisaje increíblemente relajante. Las ventanas panorámicas de suelo a techo y la bañera con vistas me permitieron disfrutar de las montañas desde la comodidad de mi estancia. En la azotea del quinto piso, el 'Espejo del Cielo' es perfecto para fotos espectaculares, y al registrarme, me regalaron una sesión de fotos gratuita donde pude probar hanfu y trajes étnicos. Las frutas de bienvenida, el auténtico desayuno y la ceremonia de los fideos de buenas noches añadieron un toque especial. No tuve que correr de un sitio a otro; pude disfrutar de unas vacaciones relajadas en el propio hotel, ideal para parejas, familias con niños y amigos.

This place has hands down been the most memorable stay we have ever had! As a couple traveling for the first time in China, Yukong, his family, and friends gave us a feeling of home and took care of us in a way we never experienced from a homestay. The house itself is build by Yukong's grandparents 70 years ago, and is placed in the middle of a Kiwi farm on the mountains outside Leye city. We shared great meals together every night in front of the fireplace with the boiling soup bowl at the center. Friends and family of the house even cared for bringing all sorts of classical Chinese instruments to the house to play traditional folk music for us - something we will never forget! Together we sang karaoke, drank rice wine, laughed and had great talks, despite of the language barrier. One could tell that our well being mattered to all of them, and that they wanted us to experience and understand their culture. Yukong and his brother even joined us for a hike in the nearby geopark and helped us with litterarly everything regarding planning and activities (which was so helpful, as none of us speaks Chinese). They took so much time off their hands to help us getting around and showed us the most wonderful local tourist attractions and great places to eat. The area has a lot to offer, and we were amazed that we seemed to have it all to ourselves. If you are in Guangxi, or anywhere else in China, for that matter, do yourself a favor and book a stay here. It is something you will remember for a long time. The nature, the culture, and especially the family you are gonna stay with, are wonderful.

Reseña: Investigué un poco antes y encontré esta casa de huéspedes en Ctrip. Tenía una vista estupenda, artículos de aseo desechables y el precio de la habitación era razonable. Después de reservar, agregué a la dueña a WeChat para preguntar sobre el clima, la hora de llegada y la distancia al mirador. Está muy cerca de los miradores 1 y 2. La casa de huéspedes tiene un restaurante en la planta baja, y la dueña cocina toda la comida ella misma; ¡está deliciosa!

¡Finalmente encontré la casa de familia perfecta en Yangshuo! La ubicación está alrededor de la Galería de Diez Millas de Pinturas. Al abrir las ventanas panorámicas de la habitación, las continuas cordilleras y los arrozales verdes aparecen directamente a la vista. Por la mañana, puedes ver las nubes y la niebla del campo, lo que es extremadamente curativo.✨ La habitación tiene un estilo minimalista de madera, limpia y espaciosa. La bañera transparente de moda está frente a la vista a la montaña, perfecta para tomar fotos. La casa de familia tiene un gran césped y una piscina, donde mis dos hijos se divirtieron mucho. Hay muchas áreas de ocio, y sentarse tranquilamente a apreciar los paisajes kársticos es muy agradable. Se pueden pedir las tres comidas directamente en el establecimiento. La auténtica cocina casera de Guilin tiene un sabor excelente. Los camarones de río y las verduras frescas son deliciosos. Después de la comida, hay frutas dulces y refrescantes. La merienda gratuita tiene muchas opciones, y el servicio del personal es atento y minucioso, respondiendo pacientemente a todas nuestras preguntas de viaje. Lejos del bullicio de la calle West, es un lugar tranquilo y cómodo. ¡Muy recomendado para familias con niños! La próxima vez que venga a Yangshuo, volveré a elegir este lugar.

The location of the apartment is great, plenty of restaurants, 24hrs convenient stores around the building, short walking distance to Mira Mall & Sheng's Tiandi where you can find good supermarket & lots of nice restaurants & good food places. MixC Mall, Hang Yang City & Convention & Exhibition Center are in short distance taking taxi is ~CNY10-15 & convenient, as taxi stand is just right in front of the walk way to the building. The apartment building & the unit itself are old and don't have enough maintenance, they offer the kitchen but if staying less than a month, it's almost useless as they don't provide any of the kitchenware at all, except the electric kettle, not even the proper glasses nor utensils, only 2 daily paper cups in the bathroom. Room facilities & many little things in the unit are all run down & don't have proper maintenance like door knobs, handles, shower, kitchen taps, table, etc, cleanliness is not good enough, however, the bed sheets & bedding stuff are clean enough with no smell. They offer the daily cleaning, but just floor clean, no change of anything, no drinking water provided. The amenities are very basic & few, most are disposable, better bring your own, anyhow, some requests are well responsive like we request to change the kettle, cause it is out of order, 1 additional chair as they provide only 1 chair in the unit & laundry detergent. In overall, if you don't mind and can bare those run down facilities with not good enough maintenance, it is a value for money to stay in such location in good neighborhood.
