Paradox Hotel is one of the best hotels we have stayed at in a long time. We typically stay at Four Seasons, Fairmont’s, and other hotels similar to these types of hotels. Paradox had first class service starting at the valet (Marty), along with all individuals at the front counter. To top off our stay, we had Andrew from concierges that took great care of us, as he went above and beyond for my wife’s 40th birthday celebration. -I will be writing a person letter to Andrew, for all the amazing things he did to make our stay so memorable. It’s hard to put into words the results of our trip, as all of it was amazing, from the lounge (Megan/Morgan/Vanessa were all fantastic and were extremely friendly. To the Mansion nightclub, where everyone was fantastic and provided amazing service, as we decided to get table service for the birthday celebration. If anyone is contemplating staying at the Paradox, do not think twice about booking, you will not regret it. Also, amazing walking distance to so many amazing shops and restaurants. All-in-all, we will be back to see all the amazing people we met and we look forward to our next trip to the Paradox Hotel.

We booked a junior suite with access to the club lounge. The suite was ok, not exactly huge as we had to lay our second cabin sized suitcase in the living area, which by the way did not have a door between it and the bedroom. The club lounge was very average, not exactly club like as there were kids, babies and toddlers as well as adults in singlets and shorts. Soft beverages were available as were snacks but alcohol had to be purchased. Pretty average compared to other club lounge in terms of the breakfast. We should have gone with a std room and bought breakfast outside .

I had an excellent stay at the hotel. The room service meals were delicious and promptly delivered. The bed and linens were very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The amenities were top-notch. The staff was quick and helpful in resolving any issues. The airport shuttle service was punctual and convenient, making travel easy. Highly recommend this hotel.

Tiene la mejor ubicación de la ciudad, pues está en el centro de la zona mas turistica, frente al puerto, cerca de varios parques y comercios. Muy bien ubicado para viajes de trabajo, pues tiene conexión directa al centro de convenciones.

Rafael en el escritorio principal era amable, útil y recuerda todo. La cocina con nevera completa fue muy conveniente para 4 ocupaciones. Las camas también son muy cómodas. This hotel is all smoke and mirrors. We stayed with a business group mid week in mid May. Certainly not peak season. Yet the service at this hotel was extremely lacking and I question how they will cope when it is peak season. Firstly, the lobby staff left our bags for over three hours before we went and rescued them. Others in our business group had the same experience. They sat out in the open, with not so much as a tag on them to identify our room, near a door and a fair distance from any staff that could be watching them. I literally took them off the trolly and walked away with them without a question from any staff member. I certainly did not feel like my property was being respected or valued. There were various business functions we were a part of that necessitated the use of varying areas of the hotel. The lobby bar was a disaster; it wasn't even very busy on that Thursday night at 9:00 when the waitress took 30 minutes to take a drink order and never returned with drinks. We waited an hour. Ridiculous and embarrassing to take clients to. The spa was an interesting experience. Lovely setting, nice amenities but the amount of paperwork and questions I had to answer was next level. All for a very average massage by the sound of street noise. I had to answer multiple questions on my health, my background, scent preferences, etc. but not once was I asked about massage pressure or music in the room. Again, not impressed. Not everyone needs an ironing board, but on business trips, they are important to travelers. The ironing board in the room was so thinly covered that the iron mesh imprinted my clothes. I had to use a towel to cover the board, which was time consuming and annoying. Really, at a 5 star hotel that caters to business?? Not impressed. The electric window coverings are a nice idea but they hemorrhage light so badly that you could read a book by the natural light at 5:30 am. They are ineffective. Needed to go get eye covering just to get some sleep. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again. There are nicer hotels in Vancouver with much better service where you can get a good night's sleep and a cocktail in the evening. Two things I couldn't do at this hotel. And the other aspects where just hassles!

Es un hotel de más de 100 años que se encuentra junto a la playa, pero para llegar al escritorio frontal tenemos que levantar nuestras maletas 3 pasos, Un poco incómodo, pero afortunadamente hay 2 ascensores para levantar nuestras cosas, será un hotel muy bueno si se puede renovar.

the place to go if you are from fort nelson, nice rooms, quiet, central. accepts ESS. the room was extremely clean , with soft pillows . Had the best night sleep in ages . bathroom was clean and plenty of towels. they have taken precious reviews into account and have actually improved this motel, not bad.
