I must say right away that the hotel can be rated five out of five, everything else is not the fault of the hotel and its service. This is a problem common to the entire island of Phu Quoc. The island is preparing to host a major economic summit in 2027. The whole island is one big construction and reconstruction project. It is not surprising that suddenly reconstruction and equipment for a new tourist facility (hotel, shop, restaurant, etc.) can begin in neighboring buildings, but we must pay tribute to the fact that the silence regime is still observed. This is Saturday and Sunday, a complete ban, repairs are possible only from 8:00 to 11:00 from 13:00 to 17:00. HL Melody in the neighboring block is completing reconstruction for its own apartments, that is, it is expanding its offer. It is said that everything will be finished by March 2026. But I repeat, it's everywhere on the island and on Khem in particular. If you think that hotels such as La Grotta, All Sand, Paralia, ANN and others of this class of hotels will be better, then you are mistaken. Construction and reconstruction are going on everywhere. Unlike these hotels, the location of HL is much better, far from the noise of the crowd of vacationers, the noise of passing cars and bikes. Khem Beach is a 10-minute slow walk away. The windows of rooms 101, 201, 301, and so on overlook the rainforest. At night, we turned off the air conditioner and slept with the windows open in complete silence. In the morning, we were only bothered by the roosters of the neighboring village and the forest birds. Tips for nearby restaurants - Chinese Fu Lu Kang (excellent work by a professional chef, instant service, full Chinese menu, except for Peking duck, we recommend absolutely everything). Grill Station is a decent menu when you want to switch from Vietnamese cuisine. Com Nha Vietnamese Cuisine is the latest restaurant on the way to the beach. Very affordable prices and excellent food quality. Better than on the beach - Draft Beer Bai Khem. We used the last one when we were at the beach all day. I recommend all the listed restaurants. KingKong has the best currency exchange, while Khem has a 1% worse exchange rate. If you skip the transport to KingKong, then the course is the same. The general advice on Khem's vacation location is if finances allow, then Premier Residence, New Wolrd, JW Marriott. That is, the territories that were closed and completed for reconstruction with half board. The latter is important because Vietnamese cuisine is sparse and monotonous. At the same time, you are guaranteed that you do not have large-scale repairs with the demolition of floors behind your wall. We recommend the Shop-center and farm of sea and river pearls - Ngoc Hien Pearl Farm. You can even book a transfer from the hotel if you really intend to buy something. HL Melody service: very good. The Ngoan concierge is a very polite and helpful employee. Our respect. Rooms: new and clean. Cleaning was carried out every day. Towels are changed every day. The linen is all snow-white and dry. Please note that there is an error in the description of one of the rooms. There is only one kitchen for self-catering and breakfast on the ground floor. In the lobby there is a stove, refrigerator, dishes, professional coffee machine, water, drinks, Two bicycles in free use. Internet - WIFI is fast without freezes. There's an elevator in the hotel, but you can't hear it at all. In general, the sound insulation is good. We recommend this hotel. The price is fair and affordable, and the service corresponds to the hotel class. I repeat that the problems of reconstruction are a problem of Phu Quoc in any new location of tourist clusters - Marina, SunSetTown, Khem, and etc.

La piscina fue muy bien mantenida y no podíamos nadar en la playa, por desgracia, porque probablemente era demasiado ondulada (flag rojo). Были сложности с заселением, после бронирования и когда я связался с объектом размещения прошел час когда мне ответили. До этого жил в подобном номере, там было чище. В номере один телевизор вместо трех. И было разбито стекло на входе, также отсутствовало стекло в душе, владелец предлагал его установить когда мы находились там.

La habitación de la habitación era muy buena, pero no se podía acoger adecuadamente. El restaurante era bueno, el director de restaurante era muy útil y nos ayudó a elegir las opciones de comidas de halal adecuadas, que realmente apreciamos como invitados musulmanes. La ubicación del hotel es hermosa, especialmente en la playa. En general, la ubicación y el restaurante fueron buenos, pero el servicio de personal y el manejo de nuestras solicitudes de habitaciones necesitan mejoras significativas.

Прекрасное тихо, уютное и очень зелёное место. Встретили, привезли до виллы. Все было чисто, красиво, уютно. Есть нюансы, количество открытых спален зависит от количества заявленных людей. Это странно. Просто уточняйте этот момент. Белье роскошное, полотенца свежие. Вид шикарный. Тишина вокруг. Пожалуйста, покупайте новые губки для посуды для новых жильцов. Я думаю Вам это не накладно, а впечатление будет лучше

Wir wurden wenige Tage vor unserer Ankunft vom Hotel informiert, daß wir ein Upgrade in eine andere Zimmerkategorie bekommen sollen, sofern wir zustimmen. Wir haben das Upgrade akzeptiert und wurden mit Empfangsgetränk freundlichst empfangen.  Der Ausblick vom Zimmer zu Meer und Pool war beeindruckend. Das Zimmer war nach örtlichen Maßstäben sauber und ruhig, so daß wir ungestört nächtigen konnten. Klimaanlage und Reinigung funktionierten. Wir fanden den im Zimmer stehenden Wasserspender prima.  Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und es war sowohl für asiatische als auch europäische Frühstücksvorlieben bestens ausgelegt. Einziger Kritikpunkt bleibt das “mikrige” Obstangebot, das für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie einfach zu dürftig war. Oftmals erschöpfte sich das Obstangebot an kümmerlich präsentierten drei maximal vier Obstsorten. Wir haben vor unserem Aufenthalt bei anderen Hotels auf Phu Quoc genächtigt und dort mehrere Obstbuffets genossen, die dieses hier deutlich in Auswahl und Präsentation übertrafen. Lobenswert empfanden wir, daß Mitarbeiter während des Frühstücks eine Gästebefragung durchführten. Die Mitarbeiter waren versiert, und zwar sprachlich als auch im korrekten und überaus freundlichen Umgang mit den Gästen. Natürlich haben wir unsere Kritik am Obstbuffet auch schriftlich am Fragebogen und mündlich nochmals erläuternd hinterlassen. Schade, daß das Management hier durch Schweigen eine vieldeutige Sicht der Dinge ermöglichte. Gute Kommunikation auf kritische Punkte ist (noch) nicht die Stärke des Hotels.  Sehr angenehm empfanden wir den kostenlosen Afternoon Tea, zu dem ein kleines Stück Kuchen gereicht wurde.  Das Hotel ist unmittelbar am  Strand gelegen, an dem ausreichend schattenspendende Schirme mit Liegen anzutreffen sind. Auffällig waren die gelockerten Abstände der Liegen, die nie den Eindruck des Liegens nach Reihe und Glied erzeugten.  Um in die Stadt zu gelangen ist ein Taxi zumeist anzuraten, da die  Busfrequentierung nicht transparent ist. Je Taxifahrt ist mit Kosten von rd. 150.000VND zu rechnen(März. 2024).  Wir haben objektiv keinen Punkt, der gegen eine Empfehlung des Hotels sprechen würde. Nun gibt es ergänzend zur sachlichen Komponente noch die emotionale Ebene einer Empfehlung. Und hier konnten wir aufgrund der Hotelgröße und der damit einhergehenden Anonymität nicht ankoppeln.  Deshalb vergeben wir nur 4 Sterne.

En general, es un buen lugar. Las instalaciones del hotel son buenas y está tan cerca del mercado nocturno que puedes caminar hasta allí. Hay un cajero automático en la puerta del hotel, por lo que no es necesario retirar dinero en el aeropuerto. El hotel dispone de servicio de recogida en el aeropuerto. Pero como hay tanta gente viviendo allí, hay que esperar mucho tiempo antes de poder conducir. La insonorización del hotel no es buena. Cada vez que alguien pasa por la puerta, hay mucho ruido. La calidad de las personas que se alojan en el hotel es realmente indescriptible. Pero el servicio del hotel es muy bueno, al conocer esta situación, hicieron todo lo posible para ayudarme a cambiar de habitación. Desafortunadamente, después de cambiarme, los vecinos seguían haciendo ruido. Un gran grupo de personas regresó en medio de la noche. mucho ruido. Las personas con mala calidad de sueño no deberían vivir aquí. La playa aquí es muy pequeña y el agua está muy sucia con mucha basura. Pero hay una enorme piscina infinita. ¡El desayuno es rico y la fruta muy buena! Experiencia puramente personal.

I like the hotel. It’s quite good for a family with a baby. Breakfast was good. The room was quite big with a big balcony. The beach was clean. The problem was with beach chairs. They were all taken by Russians. They were leaving their towels in the evening on the beach chairs and when we were coming to the beach in the morning and there was nobody, we didn’t have a place to stay. We were with a baby, so it was quite annoying because we couldn’t get a beach chair. They were all occupied already but the people who did that were coming to the beach only till noon. It’s a five star hotel and such things are not ok. I went to the reception desk to complain but they were helpless.

No tenía grandes expectativas cuando vi las fotos, pero cuando las visité en persona, la vista fue realmente fantástica. La vista del atardecer desde la habitación era muy bonita, ya que estaba en el centro principal, en el piso alto del edificio residencial. Se sentía un poco como una puesta de sol en el oeste de Estados Unidos. Pasó bastante tiempo hasta que el cielo se volvió púrpura incluso después de la puesta del sol... pero no se captura en la foto. Por primera vez en mucho tiempo disfruté de la hermosa vista abierta durante tanto tiempo. Cuando abrí la puerta de la terraza, el aire acondicionado se apagó automáticamente y quedé satisfecho con el estado general de limpieza de la habitación. Cuando miré el lavabo, el color del agua estaba un poco apagado, pero todavía tenía mucha agua para cepillarme los dientes al lado del lavabo, ¡así que lo dejé! Al principio me llevaba todos los filtros, pero cuando me fui de viaje sentí que era una pérdida de tiempo cambiarlos, así que no usé ninguno. No quiero viajar preocupándome por la calidad del agua y las condiciones de las tuberías. Termino comiendo Chocolate Hour cada vez. ¡Es delicioso para reponer azúcar después de nadar! Había muy poca gente en la piscina del edificio residencial y era espaciosa, lo cual era realmente agradable. Jaja, la hamburguesa del servicio de habitaciones estaba deliciosa, y el servicio de cerveza y cubitera de hielo fue amable.

We had an amazing stay! The staff were incredibly friendly—always greeting us with warm, genuine smiles and offering help whenever we needed it. We were pleasantly surprised that the hotel even reached out a day before our arrival to confirm our estimated check-in time, making sure we wouldn’t miss out on the complimentary cable car tickets. The location is perfect—just a 2-minute walk to the cable car station, with free buggy transfers available around Sunset Town according to their schedule. We booked a fireworks-view room with a balcony, and it was absolutely worth it. Every night at around 9:30 pm, we enjoyed a beautiful 10-minute fireworks show right in front of our balcony. Such a wonderful experience!
