I had a wonderful stay at The Armstrong Hotel this past Easter weekend. This was a staycation while I hung out with some friends who live in Windsor. So, I didn't do much on the main drag of College Avenue. But it seemed like a bustling and exciting place.
The room was well kept and clean, and the front desk staff were nice and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable, and the water pressure was great. I requested a luggage rack, and someone placed in into my room with no problem.
I would definitely return to stay again. Maybe the 3rd floor next time. I was on the second floor and bless the cleaning staff for all they do, but they are fast and furious with that vacuum cleaner in the morning. That was the bulk of the noise I experienced. Not terrible.
The parking was convenient, and close by. My only critique is that the parking lot next to the Bohlender Funeral Chapel needs some light at night. When returning late at night, the parking lot is extremely dark. And some cars were double parked.
I read some reviews about the loudness of the train that goes down the next block on Mason Street. It wasn't bad. You should always travel with earplugs, but the hotel provided ear plugs which was a nice touch.

Hoteles en: Este hotel es un hotel muy agradable, pero un poco decente en las habitaciones. Mi techo tenía un gran lugar húmedo cuando llegué a la habitación, que fue extraño. No hay lugar arriba en el techo, no estoy seguro de lo que era. Mantenimiento de casa olvidó venir el primer día pero vinieron el segundo día a las 8:30. Una vez, literalmente una vez, y luego abrió la puerta a sí misma, como estaba en mi camino para abrir la puerta. Realmente frustrante de permitirse entrar con sólo un golpe. Esperado unos 10 segundos, si es así. Yo dejé saber al escritorio delantero cuando me salía. Balcón también puede utilizar un poco más de muebles actualizados.
Isaiah y Priya (sp??) en el escritorio delantero fueron sorprendentes cuando me ingresé.

En general, no es bueno, cumple este precio de estacionamiento un poco caro, más de cincuenta días, si él te ayudó a estacionar 65. La comida no es tan buena, pero en general es buena.

Recomiendo encarecidamente este hotel, el personal fue increíble. Todos los miembros del personal que nos ayudaron fueron muy amables y serviciales. Viajamos desde Texas para fugarnos y queríamos registrarnos muy temprano, ¡no tenían nada más que lo esperado ya que llegamos a las 8 am! Aunque no tenían uno listo, ¡AÚN nos dieron desayuno gratis! ¡Además de eso, nos dieron bebidas gratis en el bar como regalo de recién casados! Nuevamente no se esperaba. El chef también salió más tarde cuando fuimos al bar por la noche y nos regaló un delicioso postre, este hotel nos hizo sentir bienvenidos en Colorado. Definitivamente derrotamos. Volveré.

TERRIBLE. Este es el momento en el no me devuelven el deposito que hice de 50 USD al ingresar al hotel. Lo quise hacer por efectivo y me dijeron que debia ser por la tarjeta pero ya han pasado 2 meses y no me han reintegrado mi dinero LO PEOR DE LA SITUACIÓN. El hotel no tiene ni whatsapp y el supuesto correo que brindan NO FUNCIONA. ES MUY TRISTE COMO UNA CADENA TAN RECONOCIDA HACE ESTO.

RRegiena MillerI talked with Savannah over the phone; she was extremely helpful and friendly. I wish more places had people like her. Everything was great until we got into the room. We had traveled all day and was tired, but the tub was dirty, so my husband cleaned out the hair in the tub. The bed was comfy although there was a deep sunken in spot where we seemed to roll into it all night. But that was ok because it was a comfy bed. It got a bit cold, because the blanket was as thin as a sheet, with no extra covers to be found.
As we're packing our things to go, we discovered trash under the bed, and some black crumb looking stuff in the drawer.
We were looking forward to the nice breakfast, because on the confirmation it said a Western breakfast, only to find, one small box of mini powdered doughnuts and a few beagles. There was only 1 small round table to seat 2 people. No beverages other than hard-to-find coffee. No fruit, no muffins, no cereal, NOTHING. What was served, does not even count as a continental breakfast! We had to leave to go get breakfast.
We book our hotels based on the breakfast. In our experience, including working in hotels for 25+years, a continental includes a variety of food, including fruit, cereal, muffins, and sometimes a way to make waffles. They also have multiple drink options, such as milk, orange juice, apple juice, hot chocolate, and more.
When I spoke with front desk, mostly to get Savannah's name, (because her service was exceptional) I told them about the dirty room and NO BREAKFAST, and they made it clear they did not care. The guy that had not been there the night before, claimed, kind of rude, they advertise a continental breakfast. This was NOT A CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST!!!!!
A western breakfast consists of sliced bread with jam, butter, coffee, fruits, vegetables, or eggs. Sometimes a western omelette.

UUsuario invitado1. Price was very affordable. I wasn’t expecting too much, but it went well above my expectations for this price. Yes, it’s an old hotel so the furniture seems a bit old with scratches and dents, but the room was kept clean overall. It did have a distinct smell that bothered me when I entered the room, but after a few minutes I got used to it. If you’re hesitating because the price is too cheap, I honestly think it’s only because of its age.
2. Location was not far from the COS airport. Local buses were during ozone season, but if you want to go far you would need to get an uber. The neighborhood seemed quiet and peaceful, but I did hear sirens going off three times during my two nights of stay.
3. The building is a condominium with a few rooms they rent out as hotel rooms. Its residents were primarily retired people who were friendly and chill.
4. The guy at the reception was super friendly. We chatted about our times in the army. I noticed a lot of retired service members in the building throughout my stay which made me feel very safe.
5. Breakfast was not a buffet, but was made freshly per order. Eggs, pancakes, and potatoes were served for free, and I was able to add two strips of bacon for a dollar fifty. Tina, the waitress, was very nice, and Jimmy, the cook, was also friendly. Food was delicious. Jimmy was so excited for me to try his “space cake”, which was also amazing. The outdoor seating has a great view of the mountains, so I recommend sitting outside.

(1) Tea/Coffee available 24 hours, breakfast is simple but enough choices, egg, sausages, waffles, bread, oatmeal, juices, coffee, tea fruits
(2) Staff are professional, explain things well.
(3) Furnitures are slightly newer than the other Hampton I stay in.
What can be improved:
(1) I waited at Island 3 (Door 512) from 745pm till 830pm and called twice in order to secure the shuttle service. I saw other hotel shuttles already dropped by 4-5 times in that mins and even saw the other hotels shuttle, like Cambria dropped by within 30 mins. When I got to Hampton, it was already 850pm and also realised that the restaurant next door is closed. I understand that it maybe out of their usual service hour, yet I wonder if they can do a join venture service with other hotel brands so that customers could be picked up earlier.
(2) I was offered the room at the end of the corridor but there are loud water noise coming from the pipes when someone was using the toilet next door or upstairs. Since I was so tired after the longhaul and shorthaul flights and had not been sleeping for 30 hours, I went to sleep at night as usual. However, I am pretty sure that it would bother me when the day I am more sensitive to sound. I did not report it because it was just a short stay.
Overall, I would give a 4 star as the staff attitude (check in, check out and cleaning lady) and their service deserve great respect, standard up to par breakfast and clean room.

FFashion_PotatoI stayed at the Westin the night before my flight because I didn't want to panic about getting to the airport on time. I'd heard Westin is good quality and the location really is so convenient so I splurged. I kind of wish I hadn't. The room was very basic. The shower was nice, but there was nothing about my stay that made me think ”worth every penny!” Especially since they charge for internet.
Good things: the staff are delightful although they definitely seemed understaffed and a bit stressed. The rooms are very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It's AT the airport and so easy to navigate! I asked for some extra water and they brought a lot. The room service food was so good.
Meh things: the carpet made me super glad I brought my own slippers. It didn't seem dirty, but something about carpeted hotel rooms are kind of icky. The coffee cups were all paper and I just felt like I was making a lot of trash when all I wanted was evening tea and morning coffee.
Boo things: not even an hour of free wifi? Just straight up ”pay 18 extra dollars on top of the hundreds for a basic room so you can tell your family you arrived ok and make sure you know where to go at the airport tomorrow.” I don't know, I'm not a business guy but it felt very cheap and petty.

CCayaNo-frills, budget-friendly hotel conveniently located. The free breakfast was more than adequate. The staff, although professional and competent, were not exactly friendly or welcome. UUsuario invitadoFirst off this hotel has a great location. You can get on C-470 in just 2 - 3 minutes and access to I-25 is just as easy and takes only 5 or so minutes. Within less than a mile radius is the Park Meadows Mall, several supermarkets/drug stores, more restaurants than you can imagine, Walmart, Sam's Club, Target, Costco, Ikea, golf courses, bike trails, parks, and so on. The hotel appears to have been updated fairly recently as all finishes in the building looked clean, shiney and quite new. Our room was of average size with 2 queen beds that were very comfortable. We especially liked the fact that the shower/toilet area was separated from the bathroom sink area. The room was very quiet as there was no noise from either the outside or from adjoining rooms or the hallway. I usually don't sleep well in hotels, as the slightest noise keeps me awake, but during our stay here I slept like a baby. The front desk personnel were professional, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. The only slight minus to our experience was that the breakfast menu was on the light side compared to most other hotels we have stayed in, however the dining space is spacious and clean. In summary, you can't go wrong in choosing to stay at this well managed hotel.
