«La comida es deliciosa y bastante variada. Lo único que decepcionó fueron las ensaladas; el contenido no estaba a la altura de su nombre. La ubicación es buena. No está en primera línea de playa, pero está a solo un par de minutos de ella. Había entretenimiento varias veces por las noches (espectáculos de fuego, baile). El gimnasio fue un poco decepcionante. Las instalaciones son regulares. Básicamente, tienen mancuernas, una barra y una cinta de correr. El resto falta o está inoperativo. Nos gustó la actitud del personal. Cualquier pregunta que tuvimos fue resuelta rápidamente. Usamos el spa. El programa incluye sauna, exfoliación, hammam y masaje. En mi opinión, vale la pena.»

«Una playa preciosa, un precio razonable (me alojé a mediados de abril), una habitación decente para un hotel de 4 estrellas, ¡PERO! El hotel necesita mejorar su servicio: 1. La limpieza del restaurante es deficiente y se dejan migas en los sofás. 2. Las tumbonas necesitan reparación y los colchones necesitan cambiarse. 3. Surgió una situación difícil, pero ningún miembro del personal, incluido el gerente, quiso prestarle atención hasta que se agravó. «За свои деньги - хороший отель. Видно, что он не новый, подмазанный-подкрашенный, но в целом его чистота и шикарное местоположение перекрывают недостатки. Персонал вежливый, готовый помочь. Единственное, очень громкие и неуклюжие девочки, которые убирают номера. Слышимость хорошая, а они в 7 утра начинают громко смеяться, болтать и двигать мебель, когда в соседнем номере уехали гости. Жаловалась на них. Завтрак неплохой. Супер разнообразия нет, но всё свежее вкусное, для европейцев. Пляж и океан выше всяких похвал. Ради них и стоит ехать. Отливы есть, но совсем небольшие, 3 метра уходит вода, они никак не мешают купаться весь день. Глубина уходит вниз не резко, но там не лягушатник, чуть отплыл и уже дна не чувствуешь. Да, есть приставучие бич бои, но их просто надо игнорить. В мой отдых вообще каждый день приезжала полиция и гоняла их. Много водных развлечений на пляже. Пляж чистый, водорослей или нет совсем или чуть-чуть. Из минусов - лежаки. Они старые деревянные и видно что самодельные. У части лежаков нет возможности поднять/опустить спинку. Матрасы на лежаки выдают отдельно. Лежаки двигать нельзя. Если вы хотите полежать на солнце (а лежаки стоят под навесами из пальмовых листьев), то просто надо брать с лежака матрас и идти лежать на нем на песке. Номера неплохие. У меня был стандартный. Есть утюг с гладильной доской, сейф, фен, чайник с чашками, 2 бутылки воды 0.5 л каждый день, шампунь и гель для душа. Кондей работал исправно, вода горячая из водонагревателя (но у них везде так), напор хороший. Ресторан в отеле работает весь день. Меню не сильно богатое, но готовят вкусно, порции большие. Меню бара разнообразное. Цены средние. Бургер с картошкой фри 10-15 долл. Паста 10-15 долл. Мясо 15-25 долл. Салаты 10-15 долл. За пределами отеля в ресторанах цены примерно такие же. По средам у них вечер барбекю на пляже. По воскресениям караоке. Какой-то явной анимации нет, как в Турецких отелях. Но на Занзибаре надо наслаждаться пляжем и океаном. Кароче, я довольна и приехала бы ещё.»

El hotel no está en primera línea de playa, pero está a unos 5 minutos a pie del mar. Todo lo que necesita está cerca: restaurantes donde comer bien y ver espectáculos, varias playas, un mercado de recuerdos e incluso una licorería. Hay una escuela y un estadio cerca del hotel; es muy interesante observar a la gente local. HOTEL. Hay dos hoteles, todos del mismo propietario, y puede utilizar las instalaciones de ambos. Pero esto definitivamente no es una queja del hotel. La habitación está en la tercera planta, no hay ascensor. Varias playas cercanas, aguas cristalinas, sin mareas bajas en la zona oeste que impidan el baño. Pero hay puestas de sol impresionantes, ¡no se las pierdan! APARCAMIENTO. Llegamos en un coche de alquiler y lo dejamos en el aparcamiento interior vigilado hasta la mañana. Y luego están las DESVENTAJAS. Básicamente, solo teníamos una; a pesar de haber pagado por adelantado nuestra habitación familiar, no nos la dieron de inmediato. Por alguna razón, su sistema de reservas mostró nuestra reserva como de dos habitaciones dobles. Tardaron aproximadamente una hora en resolver el problema, pero luego el propietario intervino y lo resolvió. En general, quedamos satisfechos con la habitación. VEREDICTO. «Diviértete en Smile Beach Resort. El personal es muy amistoso y útil. La habitación estaba limpia y ordenada. Por la noche, alguien vino a cerrar el mosquitero y roció el repelente de mosquitos. El desayuno y el almuerzo son buenos y no usamos la cena porque hay muchos restaurantes cerca. Me gustaría mencionar la piscina y los asientos en la playa, que son áreas de mejora. Son muy viejos y duros. La cama de la habitación también es muy dura.»

«We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. Every morning I was able to do yoga on the beach with my own yoga mat. From the resort you can walk right into the water. The food here was excellent. Honestly, it was one of the best burgers we’ve ever had, and the fries were perfectly crispy. The only downside is that it is beside a club that plays relatively loud music from around 3 PM to around 10 PM. We were there from Friday to Sunday, so perhaps they don’t play during the weekdays. I am still happy to give them a really good rating because the music turned off at 10 PM when we were ready to go to sleep. The only other thing I would add is they list a gym as part of their amenities but they have just wooden barbells and a covered space. However, their pool is really nice and their Jacuzzi was quite a treat after swimming in the ocean.»

«My friend and I came for 3 days and 2 nights and it was great! We arrived around 9am which was way before the check in time and they accommodated us so well and gave of coffee and fruit while they set up our room early! The room was way better than what we ever expected. The AC was the first we’ve had in our whole month stay in Tanzania! The room was spacious, had patio seating private to the room, a great bathroom, and very nice decor! Breakfast was good and the staff was extremely kind and accommodating to any needs. The location is great and a 5 minute walk to the beach and a great restaurant called Maisha that we ate at almost every night. The area felt very safe too! Even at the end of our trip our flight was at 10pm and they let us leave our bags at the hotel while we spent our day at the beach, and even let us come back to change and wait until our taxi came! Overall a great stay for a great price, we were so glad to have gotten the chance to stay here!»
