La ubicación es bastante remota, algo que ya sabíamos de antemano. Como punto positivo, el servicio de transporte gratuito fue fiable y puntual. Sin embargo, había que registrarse con antelación cada vez, y el último autobús de vuelta desde el centro de la isla salía a las 22:30. Como alternativa, tomar un taxi fue fácil, lo cual no nos supuso ningún problema. El personal fue en general amable, servicial y muy atento. El wifi también funcionó a la perfección durante nuestra estancia. Desafortunadamente, los aspectos negativos superan con creces a los positivos. El hotel está situado en la llamada Costa Nueva, pero no tiene absolutamente nada de ”nuevo”. Todo parece viejo, desgastado y descuidado, como si el hotel tuviera 30 años o más. Gran parte está oxidado y sucio. Había pelos en los pasillos a todas horas, lo cual era muy desagradable. Nuestra habitación olía a humedad y siempre había ceniza en el balcón que, al parecer, no se limpiaba. El vestíbulo casi siempre estaba abarrotado. Incluso si solo querías reservar el transporte, a menudo tenías que esperar mucho tiempo antes de que te tocara el turno. Lo peor para nosotros fue el desayuno. Era realmente escaso y nada atractivo. Nada tenía buena pinta; gran parte parecía poco apetitoso. La única fruta disponible era melón, que siempre se agotaba, así que siempre había que esperar. En hora punta, las colas eran larguísimas y apenas había mesas libres. Si las había, a menudo no las retiraban o estaban sucias. Podrías haber desayunado en el restaurante de arriba como alternativa, pero no ofrecía el buffet completo, y habrías tenido que preguntar específicamente por lo que había abajo, pero ni siquiera sabías qué ofrecían. En general, el desayuno estaba muy mal organizado y era simplemente molesto. Una vez más, el personal hizo todo lo posible, pero no pudo solucionar la situación. Había muy pocas tumbonas junto a la piscina. Las llamadas cabañas o toldos estaban muy oxidados. En algunos lugares, las paredes del hotel estaban descascaradas, como papel pintado, lo que acentuaba aún más su aspecto descuidado. La playa en sí es preciosa, pero está muy concurrida y llena de tumbonas de plástico. Los pufs estaban simplemente abandonados bajo la lluvia y no se guardaron a tiempo, lo que también contribuyó al mal mantenimiento del hotel. Lo que fue especialmente decepcionante fue que el hotel no se parecía en nada a las fotos que se usaban en su publicidad. Reservamos precisamente por estas fotos, ya que todo parecía muy bonito y de alta calidad; por desgracia, no había rastro de ello en la realidad. Para una isla como Boracay, considerada un destino premium, este hotel es completamente inaceptable. La relación calidad-precio no es para nada razonable, ni remotamente. No recomendaríamos este hotel y definitivamente no lo volveríamos a reservar. Preferiríamos alojarnos directamente en el pueblo, quizás en la Estación 1 o 2, donde estás justo en el centro de la acción; los hoteles allí no son para nada inferiores, todo lo contrario.

Tuvimos nuestras vacaciones para celebrar nuestro aniversario y cumpleaños de mi pareja y definitivamente la pasamos muy bien. La ubicación del hotel en Boracay Newcoast brinda un ambiente muy tranquilo y sereno a diferencia de otros lugares de la isla. El personal fue fantástico y servicial con nuestra petición. El único inconveniente para mí es que hay falta de transporte, especialmente en el área de Boracay Newcoast, para trasladar a los huéspedes. Dado que la ubicación es enorme, lo mejor sería que tuviera un carrito de golf o un minibús. El desayuno también se puede mejorar. En general, fue una estancia estupenda y volveremos pronto.

Cebú, Bohol y Boracay fueron geniales, pero Boracay es el mejor~ Creo que toda tu familia y amigos estarán satisfechos. Fui durante unas vacaciones así que no había ningún gerente coreano, pero fue incómodo. No hay insectos y la bañera es lo mejor. La presión del agua era tan fuerte que me sorprendió. Tanto en Bohol como en Cebú, el agua fluía lentamente y era molesto, pero aquí, ¡la presión del agua es la mejor! Sólo asegúrate de traer un filtro. Será más conveniente si das propina al limpiar. De todos modos estuvo bien y utilicé bien el shuttle. No está tan lejos como pensaba de Dimol. Este es un gran lugar para tomar fotografías. ¡Toma muchas fotos bonitas! No olvides ver la puesta de sol. Recomiendo la piscina infinita. El mar frente a la piscina también es bonito. Por favor consulte la foto. Por cierto, tuve suerte y conseguí el cupón de descuento más barato de Trip.com. Fue caro porque era feriado, pero valió la pena la espera~ ¡Guau! Tengo que volver la próxima vez. Si sufre mareos durante el viaje en coche de 1,5 horas desde el aeropuerto, lleve medicamentos contra el mareo. Estuvo bien cuando fui, pero fue un desastre total cuando regresé. ¡Que tengas un buen viaje~!

Aunque hubo algunos contratiempos, le doy una buena valoración a Ctrip. Estar en el extranjero y reservar con una aplicación local complicó mucho la comunicación con el personal; ¡parecía que no nos entendían en absoluto! No me di cuenta al reservar que no incluía desayuno. Intenté añadirlo pagando la diferencia, pero se negaron rotundamente a hacerlo. Y pedirlo en el momento era carísimo. El recinto del hotel era tan grande que para comer teníamos que ir muy lejos, incluso al hotel de al lado. El hotel es grande y el entorno es agradable, pero el servicio fue regular, probablemente porque el personal era insuficiente para un hotel de ese tamaño. No me molestó no poder hacer el check-in antes, pero incluso a la hora programada, ¡tuvimos que esperar una hora para que nos atendieran! Reservamos dos habitaciones juntas, pero estaban muy alejadas. Para colmo, la habitación de mi amigo estuvo vacía todo el tiempo. Una mañana, queriendo llevarle algo, me equivoqué de puerta y por poco me lían una bronca por llamar tan temprano a una habitación ajena. El entorno es magnífico y muy natural. Desde la habitación se podían observar todo tipo de pequeños animales, ¡algunos que jamás había visto en mi país!

El hotel está situado lejos de las estaciones 1, 2 y 3. Pero te llevan a la 2ª estación 3 veces al día. Puedes caminar hasta la playa en 10 minutos, pero es imposible nadar allí. En triciclo o a pie puedes caminar unos 30 minutos hasta la playa de Puka Beach. Es muy bonito y bueno allí. Las habitaciones son enormes y tienen balcones. Se puede fumar en el balcón, pero la puerta del balcón debe estar cerrada para evitar que entre humo en la habitación. El desayuno es bueno, 6 tipos. Panqueques, huevos revueltos, avena con mango y canela y otros. El personal es muy amable. El masaje es gratuito. Pero por la noche es aburrido, no hay tiendas cerca. Sentarse en un hotel es aburrido. Oscurece temprano, a las 6 en punto ya está oscuro. Por 2 noches no más. Nos alojamos por 2 noches.

Check-in and check-out were fast and smooth. A ₱2,000 deposit was required for three deluxe rooms. Check-in instructions focused more on penalties than on amenities. The Wi-Fi password was not provided upon check-in and we had to ask for it. Wi-Fi connection was poor, and Globe mobile signal was also weak inside the room. We had to step out to the small balcony to get a signal. Bathroom amenities were very basic. There were 3 soaps and 3 small containers of shampoo with conditioner. Toothbrush, toothpaste, room slippers, and cotton buds were not provided, so we had to buy these outside. I asked an extra bathroom tissue roll from the housekeeping which they instantly provided. Drinking water is obtained from a dispenser along the hallway near the elevator. The plastic water container provided in the room was old and had cracks. Cups were made of plastic. Hope they switch to glasses instead. I initially thought we booked a room in the main beachfront building, but we were assigned to the East Wing. This was acceptable since it is only a few minutes’ walk and conveniently located near the police station and 7-Eleven. But I really thought room were located in MAIN building since title of the room indicated MAIN. The staff were friendly and accommodating. However, it was difficult to reach the front desk. The first call was dropped, and succeeding calls took some time before being answered. Nonetheless, staff were helpful and cheerful. You'll get to meet them along the hallway, the lobby, and will be greeted always. Assisted breakfast was typical and simple. Nothing fancy, but portions can be adjusted upon request and the staff were accommodating. There is a BBQ stand located outside the lobby. The BBQ and kansi were good. You can order for dine-in at their garden area, and the crew were friendly and served well. Prices range from ₱50–₱60 for skewers, and ₱80 for kansi (try this). There are restoa and stores located nearby. I experienced itchiness on the lower part of the bed near my feet and legs. I am not sure if this was due to bed bugs, but it was uncomfortable. Had to open the duvet and external sheets to manually clean it. Overall, the stay was acceptable, but improvements in amenities, connectivity, and room comfort would make a big difference.

Very disappointing experience at Solina. This was supposed to be a special family dinner and stay because I have recommended this place many times before. Unfortunately, this visit was the worst we’ve had. First, the food during our family dinner package was extremely disappointing. When the dishes were served, everything was already cold. The portions were also shockingly small considering the price. The Daing na Bangus, which costs ₱550 per serving, was about the size of a small saucer. The stuffed squid (₱530) was literally spoon-sized. The calamares was mostly thick flour coating with very little squid inside. For the price we paid, the quality and portion sizes were unacceptable. What made the experience even worse was the service from the front desk. I called to request another laundry bag because only one plastic laundry bag was placed in the room even though there were two guests checked in. Considering Solina is a beach resort, it’s very normal for guests to have wet clothes and extra laundry. I was told that they only provide one plastic bag and that an additional one would cost ₱20. This was surprising because this is already my fourth time staying at Solina, and in previous visits we were never charged when asking for an extra laundry bag. Our clothes were very wet and simply asked if they could provide any plastic bag, but the front desk staff refused. After I ended the call, I picked up the phone again about 10 seconds later to talk to them, but it seemed they had not hung up their phone properly. I clearly heard them mocking me and saying, “Si Attorney na naman?” That was extremely rude and very unprofessional. From the reservation process, to check-in, to the food, and especially the attitude of the front desk staff , this experience was very disappointing. I used to recommend Solina to my workplace and family, which is why we even chose to hold our family gathering here. Sadly, this visit made us regret that decision. The food was bad and overpriced, and the front desk staff were rude and disrespectful behind guests’ backs. Definitely not the experience we expected.

The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. The lobby was elegant, spacious, and impeccably clean, creating a luxurious first impression. Our room was even more impressive — modern, spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, the linens smelled fresh, and the room offered a stunning view that made every morning feel special. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day, always ensuring the room remained tidy and fully stocked. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional customer service. Every staff member we encountered was polite, attentive, and always willing to help. Whether it was assisting with our luggage, giving recommendations for nearby attractions, or responding quickly to requests, the service consistently went above and beyond. It’s rare to find a hotel where every employee genuinely seems to care about the guests’ experience. The amenities were also outstanding. The swimming pool area was relaxing and beautifully maintained, perfect for both families and couples. The hotel’s restaurant served delicious food with a wide variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The breakfast buffet in particular was excellent, offering both local and international dishes that were fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere throughout the property was peaceful, relaxing, and ideal for a much-needed getaway. The location of the hotel was another major advantage. It was conveniently situated near popular tourist spots, restaurants, and shopping areas, making it easy to explore the area while still enjoying a quiet and comfortable retreat at the end of the day. Overall, our stay was truly memorable, and I can confidently say this was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. Everything — from the cleanliness and facilities to the outstanding hospitality — was top-notch. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, relaxation, and exceptional service. We will definitely be returning in the future and are already looking forward to our next stay.

The staff were consistently warm, courteous, professional, and attentive to every request. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the team made sure that all my needs were promptly addressed. I was also impressed with the hotel amenities. The facilities were complete, functional, and thoughtfully designed for both comfort and productivity. The Wi-Fi connection was reliable, the room amenities were sufficient, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was quiet and conducive for rest and work. Overall, Richmonde Hotel Iloilo provided a seamless, comfortable, and satisfying experience. I highly recommend this hotel to fellow business travelers and even leisure guests looking for quality accommodation in Iloilo. I would definitely love to stay here again.
