Best experience I could get from this place was the owner being a great cook and exceptional with her conversations and mannerisms in sending and welcoming her customers. Location is wonderful too, as it is quiet yet not far from the main areas to eat and transit in Yamagata. Honestly 1 of a hidden gem. Only drawback would probably be the hot tub as she is handling it on her own and if there are multiple people living there that night, it can get a little dirty, so I'll keep to using the showers would do. Love the place so much!

El hotel es un hotel muy bueno, pero no está en el centro de ninguna parte. Usted desea permanecer en la ciudad de Yamagata, también llamada ciudad Yamagata, para que pueda llegar a lugares turísticos famosos. La habitación de la habitación era muy agradable. Este lugar está cerrado al aeropuerto de Shonai no el de Yamagata, así que tuve que reservar otro vuelo de Shonai. El hotel es muy bonito, con un diseño inteligente en todo. Me encantaba el arrecife. Si fue sólo una vacación/restación para relajarse o aislarse de la palabra humana, es la mejor opción para usted. El hotel está muy bien, pero no hay nada que comer, excepto pagar un precio muy alto para comer en el restaurante del hotel. La belleza de este hotel era como una trampa, como yo estaba ciego de su belleza y no podía ver todas las demás desventajas.

ถือเป็นที่พักที่นอนสบายมาก เหมือนอยู่บ้าน โรงแรมใหญ่ ทำเลสำหรับคนมีรถถือว่าดี ตั้งอยู่ที่เนินสูงพอสมควร แต่ติดกับลานสกี หมายเลข 3 เลย จากโรงแรมสามารถเดินออกด้านข้างและสไลด์ลงไปที่ลานสกีได้เลย ข้อดีคือสะดวกตรงนี่ ข้อเสียคือ ผมไม่มีรถเวลากลางคืนต้องขึ้นลงเนินไกลพอสมควรจากถนนเส้นหลัก แต่ก็เดินได้ชิวๆเพราะอากาศหนาวดี ข้อดี ข้อเด่น รร มีบ่อน้ำร้อนส่วนตัวและสาธารณะ บ่อสาธารณะเข้าฟรี ดีมาก แช่ทุกวันเลย จองอาหารเช้า และเย็น อร่อยและคุ้มค่ามากๆ โรงแรม มีบริการรถรับส่งฟรีถึง 17:30 น. หากใครเดินทาง ก็แจ้งให้ โรงแรมไปรับส่งได้ ก็ถือว่าดีเลย

Vamos a la planta de hielo primero para ir al hotel, debido al viento y a la gran cantidad de maletas, El personal de la cafetería nos ha pedido que nos recoja el coche del hotel. Es muy bueno. A wonderful place to stay in. The service was fantastic. The room was huge, much too large for just a solo traveler like me but it would have been perfect if I had brought my wife and child along. The onsen quality was great, albeit the fittings at the shower area were a bit old. The food was hands down amazing and featured great local produce. Honestly there was too much for one person to finish! What I especially liked was that they had a separate room on the first floor where if it was too early for you to check in, you could drop your luggage off, change, and then grab your gear and head to the slopes. Same thing if you intend to charge the slopes a bit more on your last day, just leave your stuff in the storage room, hit the slopes, come back and change out, hit the onsen for the last time, then go off. Definitely recommending this place to my friends visiting Zao.

The room was beautiful, with tatami, yukata, tabi, and a little bag with towels to take with you when you go to their proper outdoor onsen that's right across the street. The onsen has good amenities, has 2 baths one indoor that's around 42 - 45 degrees, and outdoor one that's usually cooler around 38 - 42. The best thing about that onsen is that there usually not many people there, often I was there alone. The breakfast was great too, there were at least around 20 - 30 different dishes/foods to choose from. The hotel also sells discounted ski passes, and has it's own ski/snowboard rental service for lower price than most of the rental services nearby (the snowboard was of great quality, the shoes not so much). When we checked out, the hotel arranged a van to take us to the bus terminal as well. Overall, one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at in Japan. 👌🏻

Es un hotel muy histórico que se ha mantenido en buenas condiciones. Hay dos baños termales para hombres y mujeres, lo cual es muy interesante. La comida es deliciosa y el personal de servicio es muy amable, pero puede que no haya suficiente gente. Comer en el restaurante se siente muy apresurado, como si comiera con prisa. La habitación en el segundo piso estaba muy fría. No había aire acondicionado central y solo un pequeño calentador, por lo que le pedimos al hotel que hiciera una cama en el piso de abajo para dormir. El piso de arriba estaba básicamente sin uso. El baño de arriba no estaba muy limpio y la bañera estaba oscura.

We had an absolutely an amazing stay in Tedoso. First, the hot spring there is amazing. We had never felt so relaxed in a hot spring before. The hot water and the cold weather is completely in harmony. Second, the service is sooooooo nice. They always welcomed us and out in a lot more effort than they needed to. Third, the environment is astounding. The Japanese style and the room is way beyond our expectations. The hotel is so neat and delicate, which made us feel like we’re in a whole new world. Last, the food is spectacular. We had food ranging from big and juicy pieces of sukiyaki beef to nicely cut and flavored sashimi. Our experience at this hotel is exquisite, and the price is highly reasonable, our family highly recommend you to visit Tendoso and give it a try. I’m sure you and your family would have a remarkable experience.

Loved this place!! The host was so lovely and held conversation with us even with our broken Japanese haha, gave us maps / guides for the Dewa Sanzan and even asked us about our itinerary for the next day (as we were going to climb the other 2 mountains, he made sure we knew the bus timings). It was such a nice traditional ryokan, with comfy tatami, public ofuro (hot steaming bath that felt great after climbing Hagurosan), yukata, and even tea powder and biscuits set out in the room :”) Our room had a wash basin and sofa chairs as well, but not sure if that's for all rooms. We paid 660yen each for breakfast taken away (2 big onigiri balls!) but couldn't have dinner added on (so make sure you check beforehand, because most places in the town close by 5pm). Overall 100% recommend staying here! Loved our stay, thank you :)

Room was really as per picture. The view was great with the striped windows. Quite spacious, able to accomodate up to 2 suitcases opened. Location is also great as it's directly connected to the JR Yamagata station & S-PAL beside. You will be able to walk to the south tower through the internal passage way. Overall would recommend - really worth the price point, was comfortable and had everything we need for our stay.
