Si usted está conduciendo este hotel es agradable viene con un cómodo onsen para relajar su cuerpo después de un largo día de caminar de la estación se tarda 17 minutos a pie pero servicio de coche proporcionado enviarle a la estación pero no seguro abiut desde la estación al hotel como nosotros No se ha verificado y probado caminar allí ya que el tiempo que llegamos allí es tarde, hay que estar muy alerta si sólo utiliza el transporte público y el servicio de navegación del hotel es la tienda de conveniencia más cerca de aquí es 25min a pie y el restaurante está cerca de la estación , no hay restaurante a 17 minutos a pie

Amazing hotel with the Fuji View from the room, don’t have to travel to viewpoints just to see Fujisan. Toilet is nicely segregated and the room is super big and spacious that I can open my luggages freely. The free public bath is amazing with different options for onsen and sauna room. Location is good, right beside Gotemba premium outlet so shopping was very convenient. But if you are not driving, might be difficult for you to get food at night .. Nearest 7-11 is quite a walk as its located deep inside Gotemba premium outlet.

It was an amazing decision to stay at Shimoda hotel. The location is good. We arrived easily. The room is spacious and the beds are comfortable too! Not to mention the dinner that we reserved was very interesting and a spectacle! We were quite lucky because there was fireworks in the area so we saw them from the restaurant in the hotel. I'd say the breakfast is also very worthwhile since there is a variety of food options and some quite unique to Shimoda.

La habitación es justo el panorama del mar, si el cuarto tiene un viento y el paisaje del mar correcto, es perfecto. Hasta 2 noches, la cena en el restaurante de la primera noche, la velocidad de comer es un poco lenta para cada plato. La comida es libre para el desayuno. Pero este precio es muy alto, el secado de pescado con la habitación es muy delicioso y no duro, y compró cuatro paquetes para llevarlo en la tienda de la capa L. Los empleados tienen una buena actitud de servicio, y no como algunos comentarios.

Location was convenient, very near the train/bus station. Concierge staff was able to converse in basic english which made it way easier for us and they were all very nice. The room was so spacious and the view from our room was amazing!!! It was actually peaceful to just sit and stare out of the window. The toilet was spacious enough too. We did not use the onsens avail in the hotel but they also had a family onsen room that was free for use for anyone as long as its available and it works just like a private onsen, but free! I absolutely loved our room and would definitely recommend & also hope to return someday 💕

The hotel is good but very basic. It's clean and conveniently located close to the train station but nothing to write home about.

It was the best place where my wife and I had ever rested. And the hotel and the whole city of Shimoda is a paradise. We liked absolutely everything. And the hotel employee - Kaori, is an exceptional nature person. She gives her work 200% and is the heart of this hotel. Thanks to her scrupulousness, sensitivity and care, there was a feeling that my mother was taking care of us in the hotel. We will definitely come back again! We advise everyone to visit this city and this beautiful hotel at least once. Visit also Ebisu Island, but treat this place with great respect, please! --- これは妻と私にとって最高の休暇でした。ホテルも下田市全体もまさに楽園です。すべてが素晴らしかったです。そして、ホテルスタッフの香織さんは本当に素晴らしい方です。彼女は仕事に200%の情熱を注ぎ、このホテルの心臓部と言える存在です。彼女の細やかな気配り、思いやり、そして優しさのおかげで、まるで母親に世話をしてもらっているような気持ちになりました。必ずまた来ます！この街とこの素晴らしいホテルには、ぜひ一度訪れてみることをお勧めします。恵比寿島にもぜひ足を運んでみてください。ただし、島を最大限の敬意をもって扱ってくださいね！

The resort is truly remarkable with good food and onsen facilities. My rating is purely based on the resort experience. However, I will like to provide feedback on the reservation experience on trip.com. The pricing indicated on trip.com is not totally transparent. At the time of booking, I indicated 2 adults and a 7yo child to get accurate pricing. The amount was prepaid with a small fee JPY450 to be paid at hotel. At check in, I was shocked to learn that we are expected to pay for the child room rate at JPY22k+. That was not indicated on the “to pay at hotel’. Trip.com customer service officer replied that the requirement was indicated on the email confirmation sent. This is upsetting as I usually used the mobile app and relied on available information to make reservation. It is not my habit to check email confirmation given the information on the app is correct. Pricing should be made transparent at point of booking and not after booking. And out of ‘goodwill’ they offered me a compensation close to 50% of the child room rate. I have been using trip.com since covid and this is my first time having such issue. I hope my experience can benefit others who is booking this accommodation with child.

Magnificent view from my hotel room! Didn’t know hotel provides pickup and drop off services, just give them a call! I rolled my big suitcase down the steep hill and so on from the train station 😅. Love the restaurant next door, the sashimi was caught from the morning! Great hotel with nice onsen, you can enjoy onsen from your bathtubs too.
