Aquí explico mi experiencia durante mi sati en Santika Hotel Padang, le pido a Phen que envíe el baño de tejidos a mi habitación, después de 30 minutos de tejido no llegado, llamo de nuevo saya se enviará este tejido también No llegado allí Sólo habla, pero nada, gracias.

Comfortable room even for Superior King room.

We stayed for 1 night at Balcone Hotel & Suites. Location was superb, cool air , breezy and the mountain view was stunning as I have book my room overlooking the Merapi & Singalang mountain. Our room was spacious & clean & quiet. Breakfast can be improved. The wash hand basin had a bit of problem as the water does not flow very well but we manage to open the sink trap to let the water out. Settle the problem. Overall happy ending. Highly recommend this hotel.

However, the staff communication is lacking. They're quite stiff and unfriendly, giving off an indifferent vibe.
You might want to consider other hotel options.

AAg.jpgI chose this hotel mainly because of its proximity to the airport, and for that, it definitely delivers. It’s convenient if you have an early flight or are just passing through Padang. That said, there’s not much within walking distance around the hotel, so I’d recommend taking a taxi or Gojek if you want to go out for food or explore a bit. I went to dinner at Rumah Makan LAMUN OMBAK and highly recommend it — really good food and definitely worth the short drive.
The service was excellent. Everyone at check-in was genuinely kind, welcoming, and helpful. They helped recommend places to eat and made the stay feel easy and comfortable. Definitely 5/5 for service.
Cleanliness was probably the weakest part of the stay. The sheets didn’t feel fully clean, and the bathroom had a strong cigarette smell. The bathroom vent also seemed pretty dirty and may have had mold. That said, the AC worked well, the room was affordable, and overall it gets the job done.
You do have to adjust expectations a little — this is Padang, not a luxury resort. Overall, I’d say it’s a solid budget airport hotel if convenience is your main priority. It was quiet and no construction so that’s important to me.

SSyahmi WazerEverything is just nice. Breakfast is so delicious! I’m from Malaysia, but I can skip some of my Minang/Padang food hunting because they also provide local dishes, which are really tasty. The location is very close to Jam Gadang—within walking distance. The staff are friendly too.
The only thing that made me feel a bit uncomfortable was this: I didn’t hang the “I need room cleaning” tag on my door because I was still in the room. A cleaning staff member knocked and said “room cleaning,” but I didn’t respond since I was still inside and hadn’t requested cleaning. Then, the staff used a key card to open the door. I felt a bit violated, though it wasn’t a big issue for me as I was alone and fully dressed.
However, it would be better if staff didn’t enter unless there’s a clear request for cleaning—just in case someone is inside and not properly dressed.

Stayed at Grand Gallery Hotel Bukit Tinggi and had a pleasant experience. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it a good place to rest after exploring the city. Rooms are spacious enough and suitable for families.
The location is a plus — close to Bukit Tinggi attractions, making it easy to get around. The surrounding area is lively, yet the hotel itself feels calm and restful.
Breakfast was decent with local options, and the staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with requests or directions.
Overall, a good value-for-money hotel in Bukit Tinggi, especially if you’re looking for a comfortable stay in a convenient location. Would consider staying here again.

RRannieSI was very disappointed. I booked a room for my parents and grandchildren. I booked a room which is written 24m2 with balcony. I had stayed there before, that's why I know it's supposed to be spacious room. But they only get small room 17m2 not as mention in the details just because of the name not ”grand deluxe” but I paid more than ”deluxe price”. The same price with the published rate for ”grand deluxe” directly in the hotel. And there is no ”grand deluxe” In the room choices in Trip. They can't ask for extrabed because there's no space. And also when 1 adult with 2 kids having breakfast they still ask for extra fee. I know this rule but i just felt not fair to pay after overpriced for the disappointing room

Lamentablemente, el hotel no estuvo lo suficientemente atento como para satisfacer nuestra solicitud de cama doble para las 4 habitaciones que reservamos aproximadamente un mes antes de nuestra llegada. 3 de las 4 habitaciones no tenían ducha de agua caliente, lo que nos molestó mucho. La habitación en la que me hospedé (#552) comparte el mismo balcón con la habitación de al lado y, sorprendentemente, la puerta del balcón no se puede cerrar con llave. La música muy alta del bar de la azotea también fue muy molesta. El desayuno no fue impresionante y el personal no estuvo lo suficientemente atento como para reponer los vasos para los jugos de frutas. Elegiré otro hotel cuando visite Padang en el futuro.
