Hotel histórico de gran encanto. Las instalaciones tienen sus años pero están todas bien mantenidas. La parte decepcionante ha sido el servicio: muy por encima y con poca ganas de atender y ser serviciales. Se ve que reciben una gran cantidad de turistas (muchos que vienen a visitar solo el hotel con tours organizados), así que ni hacen mucho caso a los clientes del hotel. La parte peor es que, tras el check out, no puedes utilizar ningunos de los servicios del hotel. Nunca me había pasado no poder utilizar la piscina tras el check out, así esperar unas horas antes de tener que ir al aeropuerto o no poder tener acceso a las duchas comunes antes de marcharme. Intentamos preguntar a la reception y la respuesta fue: “dúchense en el aeropuerto”. De verdad una pena porque arruino’ la experiencia

El hotel está cerca de la parada de autobús y a pocos pasos (unos 20 minutos) hay un estupendo mercado nocturno.
Nos encantó la habitación: muy espaciosa, bellamente amueblada, camas cómodas y un baño precioso. ¡La mejor habitación en la que nos alojamos en todo nuestro viaje a Taiwán! El desayuno también fue excelente. Había mucha variedad y todo estaba delicioso.
Es una pena que solo pudiéramos quedarnos una noche.

Very good and clean hotel. The only critic is the entrance to the hotel. It’s somewhat hard to find and not really welcoming on the first sight because the hotel is on the 6th floor of a bigger building that is shared with other shops. The room itself is really nice and spacious. Employees are really friendly and were ready to help with all our questions. Would definitely book again for a stay in Taoyuan. The taxi from the hotel to the airport costs 600ntd.

Everything is great, especially the hospitality of the staff. The room is clean. Another thing we’d like to suggest is that the breakfast offered by the hotel could be improved. It was the same breakfast served for the two days we stayed. We look forward to the hotel introducing more changes and surprises for our next visit.

Ubicación muy conveniente. Justo encima del primer piso. Hay muchos restaurantes y tiendas cerca. Lo más importante es que está cerca de la tienda Miyahara; vale la pena probar el helado y el café. Gracias.

We stayed in the Gudetama room which is decorated in a very cute style.With the reservation we had the priority of checking in,free afternoon tea and the photo shoot service. We enjoyed the gym and the sauna which is perfect for relaxing.And most of all the hotel provided the shuttle service to the high speed train station for free. We will be back again for the Melody room.

Este es uno de los mejores hoteles en los que me he alojado durante mi estancia en Taiwán.

La habitación era enorme y estaba muy bien amueblada. Tenía mucho espacio, incluyendo un vestidor para guardar todas mis pertenencias. La cama era cómoda y contaba con un televisor Android/YouTube a la vista. El salón es amplio, con un escritorio y una agradable zona de estar, aunque el televisor no está alineado con los sofás. El baño es espacioso y luminoso. El inodoro y la ducha están separados únicamente por una puerta de cristal.

Me he alojado aquí muchas veces. El ambiente de desayuno de este hotel es realmente de primera clase. Debes sentarte junto a la ventana para disfrutar del paisaje. La habitación es grande y la cama cómoda. Esta vez descubrí que hay un autobús lanzadera a Ximending. La única insatisfacción fue que había un grupo escolar japonés con decenas de estudiantes durante nuestra estancia. Durante el desayuno, esto afecta seriamente a otros huéspedes individuales a la hora de encontrar un asiento o conseguir comida. Es muy molesto toparse con esta clase de estudiantes cada mañana mientras desayunamos.

糖糖包可乐¡Muy recomendado! El servicio, la decoración y la ubicación del hotel son excelentes. Al salir se encuentra la playa de Xiaowan y el mercado nocturno de Kenting Street. Un parque infantil muy grande, ¡los niños se divirtieron mucho! ¡Los detalles también son conmovedores! Hay dispensadores de agua con tres temperaturas en cada piso, lo cual es muy conveniente para las madres que necesitan preparar leche en polvo. Las zapatillas que proporciona el hotel también son muy bonitas ~

DdkworksThe only good thing this hotel offers you is a stunning view of the Kaihsiung skyline, however cleanliness and staff could be improved. The hotel says it is a 5 star hotel, but in fact it only offers 3 star experience; hotel staff looks not welcoming, the rooms are quite outdated, the aircon cannot be switched for heat - it was super cold in the room and they turn the aircon for you before you check in - why? It is 15 degrees outside, why your aircon is at freezing mode?

UUsuario invitado1. Misleading Entrance Signage
Upon arrival, we followed the signage pasted on a pillar that directed guests to a staircase entrance. However, when we reached that entrance, we were shocked to find the door marked with the sign “来宾止步” (“Guests Stop Here”). When we raised this with your staff, we were told that this entrance has not been in use since the COVID-19 period. While we understand that certain operations may have changed during the pandemic, COVID-19 restrictions have ended for more than two years. If the primary entrance has been permanently closed, why has no corrective action been taken and the misleading signage still left there? Carrying heavy luggage up and down a sloped path unnecessarily was frustrating and avoidable.
2. No Staff Assistance or Clear Signage at the New Entrance
When we finally located the new entrance, there were no staff members on standby to assist us, nor was there any clear external signage indicating that this was the correct way to access the lobby. The explanation given later was that all staff were away assisting with parking which is not acceptable. At least one person should have been assigned to remain at the entrance, or the last person leaving should have arranged for another colleague to cover the position. In addition, the Operations Director mentioned that there is signage inside the new entrance directing guests to take the elevator to the lobby. However, this logic is flawed. If guests cannot locate the correct entrance in the first place, how could they possibly see a sign placed inside?
3. Poorly Trained and Unprofessional Front Desk Behavior
After struggling outside, we called the number listed on Google. Only then did someone finally come out and lead us in. By that time, we were exhausted and upset. When we confronted the front desk staff about why they ignored us, despite us clearly visible outside the “来宾止步” glass door, making eye contact and knocking for help, but they claimed they “did not see us.” This excuse was clearly untrue, as we observed them looking in our direction. Even more disappointing, none of the front desk staff offered an apology even until we requested to speak to the Operations Director and asked him to review the CCTV footage. After reviewing the footage, the Operations Director confirmed that the front desk had not been alert and apologized on their behalf. However, he did not acknowledge that the front desk’s attitude and lack of sincerity were also serious problems. Being “not alert enough” and showing no sense of apology or empathy are two entirely different issues.
As an international hotel, the front desk is the first impression of your service. Regardless of the quality of your facilities, this poor experience completely overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay. It also severely damages the reputation of Kagaya Group — a brand that has long been admired for its exemplary Japanese hospitality and politeness. Although we appreciate the Operations Director’s effort to make amends by offering us a meal and gifts (which we declined), it remains undeniable that this incident reflects a failure in staff training and management oversight.
We hope that management will seriously review this incident, especially the issues of:
- Inadequate and misleading signage at the entrance
- Lack of staff presence and assistance upon guest arrival
- Poor front desk awareness and unprofessional behavior
We trust that Kagaya Group will uphold its proud tradition of service by addressing these problems promptly and ensuring no other guests experience such treatment in the future.

Lots of veg, however，I suspect the vegs are not properly washed, entire 1/8 cabbage wedge was served. I will not eat like that at home.

CCP_LeeI write with much disappointment on your lapse in hotel service. I checked in on 3/12/25 and my son caught a cold. I was at the hotel lobby at 1.5hrs earlier requesting for a check in but it’s allowed. My son and I were left to rest n sleep at the lobby. No one came to us or any empathy shown at all.
The next day as my son was unwell n resting in the room, there was dragging sounds that can be heard from the room which lasted for about an hour plus. I called the reception and was told that there is no guest staying above my room 701 nor beside us. My hair stands and immediately requested for a change of room. Without empathy, the reception told me that it could housekeeping upstairs. I was even more puzzled n worried why is there housekeeping where there is no one staying above my room n beside my room? The reception mentioned that they will check again even though I requested for a change of room a few times. Finally, a lady who came to ‘help me’ change room. She given me a doubtful expression and asked me if the dragging sound is still there with no empathy. Thankfully after she asked, there are dragging sounds are heard. She was standing in my room to only see me scramble to pack my things with no apology or empathy. To make things worse, she asked me what time I want to have my breakfast the next day. I really do not appreciate the question when I busy packing my things to a new room. I was later told by the in charge for that day named Connie that the staff are trained not to help guest with their luggage. So is this the reason to show no empathy to your guests by asking the guests' breakfast timing?
The lady brought me to third floor but I do not feel good at the walkway as super dark and eerie feel and requested for another room.
On my final day staying at the hotel, I was given a call half an hour before 11am to ask to check out of the hotel. I had never encounter such thing before.
It then brings me the question whereby if your check in time is 6pm and your check out time is 11am, why then there is a need to rush guests out of the hotel? The hotel will have ample 7hrs for housekeeping. Also, if the room beside my room 701 n above unit has no guest staying, why is it that I cannot check in early on the day of arrival on 3/12/25 where my son is not well?
Even more shocking to me, during checking out of the hotel, I was given a document saying that I purchased laundry item which I did not. Imagine if it’s a confidential document that the staff reveal to a wrong guest? This is totally not professional. I requested for the names of staff and the email for me to feedback to the management but they are not willing to do it. I was standing at the front counter in the cold wind for 10 minutes requesting for it. It's really ridiculous! Later, the in charge that day named Betty finally succumb to my request but repeat rudely her name to me.
It's such a shame that the hotel is such a good location but I will seriously reconsider or even recommend anyone to stay in there again

El equipo de la habitación está completo y caliente!Nivel de higiene de cinco estrellas 🤩 Hay pequeñas piscinas y jaulas de gas de agua, y el ruido de la mañana es natural. Please take note that you may incur charges if you left luggage at hotel overnight, Room that allocated to us with huge bath tub with jacuzzi. The bath room size about one third of room size.
